The Storm..

One day there was a 24
year old 4th Grade teacher
named Ms. Lee. It was her
first year teaching at this
school, when she was on her
way to work she heard a huge
POP… she had a flat tire!

As she heard the tire puncture, she
was sad that she would possibly lose
her job. She didn’t know what to do
until she had a plan to call a tow
truck to get her car and get her to
the academy. She was nervous though
that the tow wouldn’t get there in
time.

Ms. Lee tried to call a tow
truck but where she was there was
no signal because the cell phone
tower around it got flawed. She
thought her job was over and that
she wound’t get to keep her job. BUt
she loved her job and wanted to keep
it because the cell phone tower
around it got damaged.

She looked at the time on her watch
and realized that she was going to be
late to work! She looked for a spare
tire in the trunk of her car, but she
didn’t have one. All of a sudden she
heard a huge boom. There was a storm
rolling in. She heard thunder clap and
then she saw the rain start to pour
down, she didn’t want to get wet so
she ran for her car.

She ran into her car trying not to
get wet. As she watched the rain pour
down she saw that a HUGE streak of
lightning hit her car!! She felt her car
vibrating and she was nervous that
she got hurt. She looked down, and she
was fine, but she was worried her car
was even more damaged.

Then, she heard her car restart and
then she looked out the window to see
how her wheel was doing with the
damage.

She couldn’t see it at first. She
tried to look down more but she couldn’t
see anything. She was scared that it
was worse but then she was surprised
to see that...

She quickly got over to the driver's
seat, buckled in and rushed to school.
As soon as she got there she realized
that she missed the 1st Period. She
rushed into the principal's office and
told the principal what had happened.
The principal understood and let it slip
this time. But he said that it can’t
happen again.

She was relieved to know that she hadn’t lost
her job, but she was going to be prepared for if
this happened any other time. She was going to
go to the hardware store after work, and she
was going to grab some tires and tools for the
back of her car, she also bought some first aid
at the grocery store in case she ever got hurt,
and then she got a new phone plan to make sure
she always had better service.

From then on Ms. Lee always kept spare tires,
some tools, and first aid in the back of her car.
She ws afraid of the rain and thunder since that
horrific storm. She was never going to go out in
that weather ever again without being prepared
24/7. When she got home she reflected back on
the day and wondered if she could have done
something to not make the day go to better , she
was tired so she just went to bed. like that, she
forgot about the entire day.
