wardrobe

Miss Black and Natural highlights “natural beauty” and your pageant wardrobe should be kept sim-
ple and appropriate for your age group. The judges will be judging the participants and NOT their
wardrobes. Flaunting an OVERLY EXPENSIVE WARDROBE is often detrimental to the participant’s
image as a wholesome, unaffected and “natural” girl. The judges often see the participants between
judging sessions, so having a neat appearance at all times is important. Every participant will have
garments in her own wardrobe that are appropriate for the International Pageant (having all new
clothes is not necessary). Shorts and Pageant T-shirts are an excellent choice of wardrobe for our
casual parties.drerit.

Interview attire

Tiny, Little and JR Miss Age divisions: A casual garment of your choice. The garment might be a casual
skirt and blouse, a casual dress or pants and blouse.
Teen & Mrs. Miss Age Divisions: A tailored business suit or dress is appropriate.

casual wear

All age divisions: The garment can be “dressy casual” and may include pants, blouse, casual dress, casual
jackets. (No purses or handbags.)

Formalwear

Tiny, Little and JR Miss Age divisions: Age divisions: The hemline may be above or below the knee, but
are not required to be formal (full) length. Some examples might be an Easter Sunday or First Com-
munion dress for the youngest division. For older divisions, a dress that she might wear to a family wed-
ding would be appropriate. Any color is acceptable.

Please ensure that the selction is fitting to your body shape/size. That it is not too large or too small.
Ensure it is hemmed so that the participant may freely walk and model the selection with ease.

Talent & Personality

JR, Teen, Mrs & Miss Age divisions:The garment chosen should be appropriate for the talent being
performed. It may be a costume. As always, it should be stylish but age appropriate. Your judging will
include your wardrobe, we recommend profesional level clothing. No t-shirts or casualwear.

For Tiny & Little Miss the garment can be any garment of your choice. However, it should be stylish, age ap-
propriate and comfortable to sit in. Also, it should enhance the personality of the child.

Swim Wear / Fitness

the modeling portion. No tie string swimsuits, no triangle bikini tops. Participants will be judged on
