PCA OBJECTIVES & TARGET 2021

Objectives Wellbeing
To make our workplace area become a safe place after
Target home. We will ensure all of our personnel, colleagues and
Indicator workers are taken care of both physically and mentally as
it may gives negative impact to our business, client and
customer as well.

Compliance
Maintain compliance with all the applicable HSE
legal/regulatory requirements as well as client. We will
not violate any laws and regulations that protect our
personnel and work environment. We will intervene
anybody does.

Safety Compliance
Fostering and encourage positive HSE behaviour by
practicing it ourselves. We will put HSE before anything
else we do and promotes continuous improvement.

Proactive KPIs
Training
All new personnel to complete site HSE induction prior to
start work.
Mock Drills
To complete at least 1 mock drill exercise per quarter.
HSE Behaviour
To encourage all site personnel on the involvement of
NMPI submission program.

PCA – MHT 2020 PERFORMANCE REVIEW

On 21st January 2021, a
Performance Review session
between PCA and MHT was
held via Skype platform. This
session was held to discuss on
PCA performance for year
2020 and the improvements
planning which need to be
taken to maintain performance
for year 2021. This session
discussed on the HSSE aspect
and the quality of work which
has been carried out by PCA
and expectation from client for
this year.

SITE ACTIVITY – HSSE AUDIT & LFI SHARING

As to comply with the requirement and
continuous improvement on QHSE, a HSSE
Audit and LFI Sharing has been conducted
by project and HSSE management team. The
LFI sharing for January is ‘HIPO – Entering
No-go-zone During Tank Installation’ and
the site visited are SH Pekan Salak for NTI
program, SH Bandar Permaisuri and SH
Setia Alam.

CBRE INTERACTIVE ONLINE TOWNHALL

Moving forward 2021, CBRE
has launched new program
called Boot on The Ground
‘BoTG+’ which consist of
newly implemented method of
Talk Not Tick, Last Minute Risk
Assessment, Intervention &
Appreciation and Stewardship
Meeting. This session has been
conducted on 21st January 2021
through Microsoft Teams
platform. During this event also,
CBRE has briefed on the new
procedure on Hotwork and
Working at Height.

BOOTS ON THE GROUND

HSSE BULLETIN - JANUARY 2021 EDITION Boots On The Ground is a program
BY : HSSE DEPARTMENT which require top management to
engage with frontliners at site
personally. This program is to
identify the problems faced by
frontliners at the site so that the top
management can make decision
promptly to improve the safety and
quality of the existing safe work
system. Apart from that, it also
allows the management to know
the level of frontliner’s
understanding on the requirements
set by the client.

Delivering Engineering Solution Globally

FRONTLINE APPRECIATION

As to appreciate the frontliner who has
contributed a lot in the success of the works
which is carried out, PCA has organized a
Frontliner Appreciation program last month.
For this time, PCA has selected En. Ahmad
Mukhtar from CBRE program and Mr.
Eliach from MHT program to be the
recipient for this month. The objectives of
this program are to make the frontliners feel
valued of their hardwork as well as
cooperate with the company to make PCA as
a safe place to work. Among the criteria of
the recipient’s selection are suggestion to
improve on the QHSE matters and good
intervention at site.

WORKING AT HEIGHT TRAINING

As to increase knowledge and equip staff
with knowledge related to safe working
at height, PCA has sent 1 of HSSE
personnel to join the above training
organized by CIDB Holdings Sdn Bhd
from 19th to 20th January 2021. Upon
completion of this program, participants
will be able to describe the
responsibilities of employer and
employees for working at height activity
as well as at the workplace, identify the
hazards when working at height, identify
the right PPE for working at height and
safe techniques for working at height.
