Course Policies.

Attendance is absolutely necessary (MANDATORY) includes theory and physical class.
More than TWO UNEXCUSED absences 10% less of your final grade.
THREE UNEXCUSED absence 15%.
FOUR UNEXCUSED absence 20%

Assignments

Completed and submitted by the due date and time on D2L, or within 5 minutes of start class.
Late work: 50% less of your grade.

Cell Phones: UNACCEPTABLE at the fitness center.
Clothing: Appropiate clothing is needed for the practical class

Do you have an idea how you can design a muscular strength program? In our next class session
together we will be able to discussing how we can design different muscular strength programs.
Remember that class contribution is part of your grade, so read the following:

1- Read on D2L the PowerPoint for Chapter 2. Assessment of Physical Fitness.
2- Read textbook pages 37-39. How to plan a muscular strength program.
3- Watch videos of different muscular programs in this website:

Design a muscular strength program based in the information provided above, and bring to class.

Be ready to discuss with your fellow classmates your muscular strength program planned.

class, I try to teach and show the students the characteristics of different strength-training programs. I focus to teach how to plan a Muscular Fitness program.

During the class, students work designing a strength training program. At the end of class, I will give 5 minutes to students to design a plan, and I will collect

them.
