OUR STORY

Lily & Mortimer is a luxury, organic and fairtrade bedding
and sleepwear brand with a bold mission to promote a
world where every child can sleep soundly.

Our founder, Jayne Harvey, was searching for high
quality, natural sleep products and  discovered a growing
market but little choice.  She saw an opportunity to
create a luxury brand that cares as much about the
quality of our products as it does the people that make
them. 

In her corporate life, Jayne became part of the well
documented sleep crisis.  Lily and Mortimer was born
through her personal goal to seek out natural ways to
help people 'Sleep Well, Live Well’.  She has created a
timeless and sophisticated collection of homeware and
nursery essentials to ensure that product choices don’t
have to cost the earth and in fact and have a positive
impact on the people that make them.

Not only are Lily & Mortimer committed to organic and
Fairtrade but as they grow profits will be reinvested into
programs that ensure more children can sleep soundly

and are Fairtrade certified.

Our commitment to Fairtrade comes from a
belief that everyone should benefit from
business; communities thrive and prosper when
companies commit to paying farmers a fair
price for their cotton.

Our partners ensure farmers earn a living wage
and put in place programmes that benefit the
whole community.

Sourcing through one project means that we
can trace the cotton back to the farm and have
confidence that their interventions are benefits
the farmers livelihoods and the quality of the
cotton.

SUSTAINABLE IN EVERY DETAIL

Our products come in re useable cotton bags, we work to minimize waste
during production and our cotton bags is just one way we achieve this.

Our bedding uses natural coconut buttons and an envelope finish at the
opening of duvet covers.

We currently use a bio-degradable poly to protect our products and we are
working on a compostable solution.

We use low impact non-toxic dyes and minimize the use of these in our
designs. Our designs are versatile to work with any bedroom or nursery
scheme.
