Almost Gods, was founded in Delhi and built out of shared perspective that
streetwear should consistently be the driving factor in pushing the boundaries
and expectations of the Indian fashion industry. India is often overlooked in the
global conversation around contemporary streetwear, thus Almost Gods aims
to grow India’s voice as an innovator in the international streetwear market. The
Almost Gods Unisex Uniform “The Garden of Earthly Desires” was created to
challenge common expectations of cut, design, and material innovation,
integrating elements from its local roots in India, while highlighting the
eccentric yet approachable designs of our urban streetwear.

The Almost Gods Uniform centralizes around the inextricable link between
streetwear and art, aiming to strike a balance between a maximalist minimalism
that has yet to be explored at this scale in Indian streetwear. “The Garden of
Earthly Desires” has been developed with the intention of exploring the
boundaries between the new and the old, integrating traditional ideals with
modern design, cut, and functionality.

Almost Gods was grown from an idea that the brand would become an
expression of personality and individuality as well as a means of
communication, leveling the social playing field, while maintaining an urban
aesthetic that many can relate to.
