DRAGON NEWSLETTER (November 5, 2021)

I hope you all enjoyed a restful and rejuvenating break last week and over

the long weekend. Despite the short week , we have been extremely busy

with preparations for our IB accreditation visit which begins next week as

well as hosting a visit from members of the Taguig In Person Flexible

Learning (TIPFLEX) committee in coordination with Dep.Ed NCR,DoH and

Taguig Safe City Task Force representatives .We were delighted to receive

the visit which was to evaluate our school safety systems and processes to

implement face to face learning . As you will be aware from previous

communications we submitted our plans for consideration prior to the

October break. Yesterday , we delivered a short presentation on our health

and safety measures and undertook a Q and A session with varied

committee members as well as giving a tour of the campus so our visitors

could see how we have adapted the site and set up our classrooms in

readiness for students' return to school when this is allowed. I am pleased

to update you that following the visit yesterday , we will progress to the

next stage of the process with a further visit from Dep.Ed NCR on Monday

8th November. We are confident that we will meet the requirements

stipulated and hopeful that we will soon be able to welcome our students

back to school . We are very excited at the thought of this and will be

sharing our updated plans and processes with staff and parents through

orientation sessions very soon.
