Tall Pine - Night and Day

Q ui, da noi, il tempo scorre velocemente.

Il perchè è molto semplice, quasi scontato.
Tall Pine è un mondo ferroviario in miniatura, che rispetta i
parametri di una scala universalmente adottata
con la sigla HO.
Il rapporto con il mondo esterno è di 1:87.

Tutto ciò che si vede in Tall Pine è ottantasette volte più
piccolo della realtà, tempo compreso.

La mia Canon scatta le foto con la luce del giorno e
poco dopo, si fa per dire, ne scatta altre in piena notte.
Tra uno scatto e l’altro il tempo è trascorso ottantasette volte
più veloce...

...noi, a Tall Pine, crediamo alle favole.

H ere, at Tall Pine, time goes by very quickly.

The reason is very simple, we may say even obvious.
Tall Pine is a miniaturized railway world, which follows
the parameters of the universally adopted H0 scale.
Its ratio to the outside world is 1:87.

That is all you see in Tall Pine is 87 times smaller than real
world, time included.

When my Canon takes pictures in the daylight,
immediately after, we may say, it goes on taking them
in the nightlight.
Between a shot and the other, time has gone 87th
times faster...

...we, at Tall Pine, believe in fairies tales.
