About the applicant

What is the weekly time
commitment? ● Hire the Executive team
● Oversee the successful operation of the CSS
● Facilitate the effective execution of all CSS events and

initiatives
● Act as figurehead for the organization
● Represent the entire BCom student body in decision

making regarding all short and long term goals and
projects of the CSS
● Work with faculty and partners to maintain strategic vision

The applicant should be a student engaged in the BCom program,
with a passion for improving the experiences of students in all
years in Gustavson. This individual should possess the following
skills:

● Leadership; Initiative; Professionalism; Organization;
Communication; Reliability; Time and Project
Management

Nice to have:
● Experience in a leadership position
● Experience in event planning or project management
● The ability to make tough decisions

Attend weekly CSS Executive Team meetings ..…… approx. 2 hrs
Attend monthly CSS Leadership Team meetings …… approx. 1hr
All other duties: internal and external meetings, attending events,
attending conferences, planning sessions, etc. ………Varies
