Kudremukh Iron Ore Company
Limited (KIOCL).

With a lot of apprehension about getting the
assignment, our team prepared for tender and met all
the criteria published in the tender. The optimism &
assurance from Sachin Sir, followed with two-quotation
strategy for quoting in price bid advised by Ashok Sir
and the efforts put in by Mahesh, Arun, Chinmayee &
Surekha in arranging, verifying and uploading all the
tender documents was remarkable which enabled us to
win the significant tender.

We have left no stone unturned in
extending our services to gaming
industry as well, which is a great
step towards the vision 2020 of
MCA. This assignment was very
interesting with its uniqueness of
business operation.

The crux of this assignment was to comprehend client’s
industry together with applicability of various laws which
involved a lot of research by our team. As the transactions
were completely in paper currency, the team had to visit
the client’s business premises in order to keenly observe the
trail of operations. Many thanks to Sachin Sir and Ramana
Sir who took a bold lead in the assignment.

Karnataka Rajyotsava (ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರನಜ ್ಯೋತ್ಸವ) is
celebrated on 1st November every year. This was
the day in 1956, when all the Kannada speaking
regions of South India were merged to form the
state of Karnataka.
Rajyotsava day is celebrated with great joy and
vigour all over the state of Karnataka. The entire
state wears a festive look on this day as the red
and yellow Kannada flags are hoisted at different
strategic locations across the state and the
Kannada anthem ("Jaya Bharatha Jananiya
Tanujate") is chanted.

November was the month, last year, when the entire country
had just one word to discuss - “DEMONETISATION”. Now that
it’s been a year since the epochal event, it was time to look
back and assess how far the Indian economy showed resilience
in the post-demonetisation era.
With this backdrop, topic for the month was decided as India’s
GDP and factors impacting it. Amongst all the Namma MCA
shared, article by Dinesh got us back to the classroom as it
provided us a rudimentary idea about GDP, how a volatile
GDP impacts a common man and the overall health of the
economy.
