53 | P a g e THE DETERMINANTS OF REVISIT INTENTION TO KOTA BHARU KELANTAN SITI NURHUMAIRA BINTI MOHD ROSLI Supervisor: MISS FATIN NABILA ABSTRACT International tourism has shown tremendous growth over the past three decades. Although various studies have examined tourists’ revisit intention in predicting actual behavior, variety-seeking nature and intense competition have impeded tourists’ from returning to the same destination. As emotion represents one of the important elements in tourist decision making, this study examine the Determinants of Revisit Intention in Kota Bharu, Kelantan. This study adapted and integrated conceptual framework based on Norm Activation Model and Theory of Planned Behavior. First and foremost, this study examines awareness of consequences, ascription of responsibility, personal norm and emotional experiences such as love, joy and positive attitude to quantify the predictive strength and revisit intention. Music holds a significant role in the lives of individuals, impacting their emotions, actions, and overall state of mind. Understanding the forces behind music preference is essential for both academic and practical purposes, including the design of tailored music education programs, marketing approaches, and the promotion of well-being within the university community. The principal aim of this study is to pinpoint and analyse the pivotal factors that mold the musical tastes of MSU students. To achieve this objective, a research approach encompassing both quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews is adopted. Surveys will be administered to a representative sample of MSU students, while interviews will offer deeper insights into the personal and socio-cultural elements influencing their musical preferences. This research takes into consideration an array of influence factors, encompassing personal traits, cultural backgrounds, peer interactions, media exposure, and academic disciplines. By examining the interplay among these factors, this research endeavours to provide a comprehensive comprehension of the intricate dynamics that underlie music preferences in the academic environment. The outcomes of this study are anticipated to illuminate the complex network of factors impacting music preferences among MSU students. These insights will prove valuable to educators, marketers, and support services for students. Moreover, the results will contribute to the broader fields of music psychology and sociology, enriching our understanding of music's role in the lives of young adults and its implications for personal development and well-being.

The importance of this research lies in understanding how music can contribute to the emotional, cognitive and social aspects of students' lives. Data were collected from a diverse sample of students using survey methods. The survey questionnaire included sections on music listening habits, mental health, cognitive benefits, social connections, coping mechanisms, and general mental health.

Although music streaming apps is just a app that able people to stream music online and to listen to music but people rely on this kind of app more and more in their daily life. There are a variety of choices of music streaming platforms in the market and all of them have their own attraction point and target consumers. For example, Spotify, Tidal, Apple Music, YouTube Music and so on. Consumers have their own preferred music streaming platform because of different factors and it is important for us to understand the factors of consumers when choosing a music streaming platform. The purpose of this study is to explore if Spotify is the major music streaming platform and the factor for them when making their choice when deciding their music streaming platform to listen to music. It is hoped that this study can help to understand the demand of the market and what the consumer want in the product they want and use.
