MUN has been an amazing experience for me as the
President. I had the blessed opportunity to discover
with the delegates and my friends how to write po-
sition papers, how to debate, how to write resolu-
tions and other things as well. We made mistakes,
we laughed, we debated, and we had tons of fun
getting to know people from other schools! And
while there is always room for improvement, it was
an experience I wouldn’t trade for the entire world.

One word to describe my experience being part
of MUN is overwhelming. I got to meet so many
people and learn about things out of my comfort
zone. As much as I had so much fun, there were
also difficult parts of the experience. MUN taught
me how to speak up for myself and talk about is-
sues that aren’t talked about on a daily basis,
and to think of solutions for these issues. Over-
all, MUN was a great experience and I can not wait
to see what next year’s MUN conferences offer.

This year, for most of us, was our first year as
NJHS officers and we cannot help but be nostal-
gic. NJHS relies upon 5 pillars: scholarship, citi-
zenship, leadership, service and character. These
5 characteristics make up a committed NJHS
member, someone who is not only bright but
dedicated to both making a difference now and
in their future. As first-time officers, we couldn’t
wait to make a difference in our school commu-
nity and we’re glad we had the chance to do so.
This year, the organization continued some Holiday Festival Photobooth
long-standing traditions and began a few. The
holiday festival photo booth and the cookie
decoration competition were both an amazing
opportunity for us to interact with the middle-
school students and to help spark joy in such
a festive time. Towards the end of the year, we
were able to pull off our most ambitious pro-
ject yet: Secret Admirers. Receiving over 100
responses in a matter of days, we worked hard
in order to achieve our goal by the deadline and
the project was extremely successful.
The NJHS community was led by a team of ex-
tremely bright and dedicated individuals, and an
amazing mentor who helped guide us through
the meticulous process of arranging and organ-
izing activities. As members, we gained skills
and honed our ideas through teamwork and
interaction and we’re sad to leave but we know
that the next year’s team will do a great job.

As an ISG educator, my greatest
desire is for my students to...
Find time to love their hobbies,
strenghthen their bond with their
family and feel heard and loved

The world was moving like a car, and the
Covid-19, as a speed bump, had to put on
a brake. As many of us have been affected
by the Coronavirus on a daily bases, life
still goes on. For example, ISG Dammam, is
having online school on a daily basis, for
me personally, it’s almost as same as nor-
mal school and even though we can’t have a
normal virtual experience, we can try our
best to be normal. To add on, I think one
thing Covid-19 has thought all of us is
that we should always stay clean, no matter
what circumstance.

As an ISG educator, my greatest
desire is for my students to...
Realize that life is a learning ex-
perience and there are endless speed
breakers all the way. All they’ve
got to do is, keep driving. They
should pen each extraordinary, or
even ordinary moment done. They nev-

#a year of difference
I never thought this day would come.
The day we all would be sent to our
homes, without saying goodbye to our
friends and teachers, in school. I was
really surprised! It all came pouring
out to my face! We have been staying
in our homes, practicing social dis-
tancing for a while now. It might take
a little while, before we find a cure
for the COVID-19, but I believe we can
do it together!

So I am enjoying writing this now.
