And the Award Goes to….
The SE-N Commercial Team recently implemented two new awards: Health System Team Award and the Non-Health System Team
Award. The Health System Team Award is voted on by the Health System Team and is awarded to someone on the Health System team
for their team work, collaboration, and/or other behaviors that are above and beyond. The Non-Health System Team Award follows similar
criteria but is awarded to someone that has worked closely with the
Health System Team and has made the team better at their job or have
gone above and beyond to make a client happy for being with Quest.
Congratulations to the 1st Quarter winners of each award. The winners
and why they were selected, are listed below. Thank you all for being
true heroes and representing Quest so well!
Quest Supports ‘Getting Back to Normal’ Efforts
The below is an excerpt from a news story that aired on June 1st on WBTV3 in Charlotte. The donation described in the story was
part of a localized branding campaign done in the Charlotte area. You can read the entire story by clicking here.
With some schools already out for summer, the demand for swim lessons is high. Free swim
lessons will not be happening at Mecklenburg County public pools due to a lifeguard shortage.
Swim lessons are being offered through the YMCA, but right now, they are already on a waitlist
at each branch location in Charlotte. Drug testing company Quest Diagnostics is stepping in to
help with funding. The company is donating $9,400 dollars to help fund week-long summer
camps for kids who cannot afford them and to provide more than 70 free swim lessons. The
funding will go to the YMCA’s Harris, Lake Norman and Lowe’s locations. According to a
spokesperson for Quest Diagnostics:
“Quest’s goal when working with the YMCA was to support the Charlotte community’s transition back to normal, healthy routines. We
understand that summer activities, including day camps and swim lessons, organized through a community’s local YMCA provides education
and access to healthy lifestyle choices to children and families. Supporting access to swim lessons and water safety education ahead of the
potentially dangerous summer months, is an initiative both Quest and the YMCA are passionate about. Knowing how to swim can not only be
a matter of life or death for a child, but it can also impact future quality of life, by improving physical health and giving a child confidence
around pools, lakes and other bodies of water.”
Now all the YMCA has to do is fill lifeguard positions. The aquatics director says learning to swim is more important this summer than ever
because many kids who should have already learned did not because of the pandemic. “We did miss a huge chunk of swim lessons and
water safety classes last summer,” Aquatics Director Ame Guy told WBTV. “We would’ve normally gone into apartment complexes across
Charlotte and taught over 1500 kids how to swim for free, and we didn’t get to do that this past summer.” The YMCA of Greater Charlotte is
trying to make up for lost time by offering swim lessons to anyone signed up for summer camp, in addition to private and group lessons.

boarding and servicing of Goshen Medical. This team is a tremendous example of professionalism, integrity, and dedication; finding ways to
partner and support each other always ensuring the clinics/ patients are the primary focus. Each call/ email and with every office visit this
team moves quickly to fill in the gaps to ensure a smooth transition from Lab Corp. I know this has been tremendous lift for the group coming
out of COVID, managing thru staffing challenges and other projects, but no one skipped a beat. I am not sure how best to show my

On-demand help with stress, anxiety and depression...there’s an app for that!
Sanvello is a no-cost app through Optum Behavioral Health that offers clinical
techniques to help the symptoms of stress, anxiety, and depression.
Here's what you'll get:
● Daily mood tracking. Answer simple questions each day to capture your
mood, identify patterns, and self-assess your progress.
● Coping tools. Reach for just the right tool to relax, be in the moment, or
manage stressful situations, like test-taking, public speaking, or morning
dread.
● Guided journeys. Designed by experts for a range of needs, journeys
use clinical techniques to help you feel more in control and build long-
term life skills.
● Personalized progress. Through weekly check-ins, Sanvello creates a
roadmap for improvement. Track where you are, set goals, and make
strides week-by-week.
● Community support. With one of the largest peer communities in the
field, connect with others anonymously and share advice, stories, and
insights — anytime.
