Jikaku
Nishida Kitaro was the most significant and influential Japanese philosopher of the twentieth-century. Nishida is known as the philosopher of nothingness. According to Nishida, speaking of nothingness, he discovered himself. Nishida was born in 1870 in north central Honshyu Island of Japan. Some of the books and essays Nishida wrote are Jikaku, An Inquiry Into The Good, Nothingness and the Religion Worldview, Intuition and Reflection in Self Consciousness, Intelligibility and the Philosophy of Nothingness.
