PC Building Tips
The following guide is meant to advise you on things to consider when building your Digidestined.
Step 1: Start with which subclass you prefer. Your Rookie Digimon may be restricted by your subclass
choice.
Step 2: Consider your starting level. This will limit which Stages you will gain/start with. Choosing the
best Mega is not always the logical choice if the campaign will never let you get there and having a great
Champion might not be practical if your challenges require your Ultimate more.
Step 3: Consider reviewing your strategy based on the Digimon you are interested in. Maybe you want a
Digimon resistant to necrotic damage or have an Apex Predator/Rampage ability or even have skills
you'd like as a Rookie. Maybe you want flight or like the specific ranged attack of a Digimon. Maybe you
want the rogue-like skill Flyby to avoid attacks or the Virus Buster's extra damage against fiends and
undead. Maybe there's a Digimon with a damage type you find appealing. Or go with the tried-and-true
Rule-of-Cool Digimon of your choice. The important thing here is to prioritize the qualities you want the
most for roleplay and combat purposes.
Step 4: Narrow your choices based on attack variety, Digivolution variety, speed, roleplayability, and
Rookie capabilities. If you have a strong feeling you will tend to keep your Digimon at Champion or
Ultimate in most fights, compare your favorites. Digimon of equal level are not always equal in combat,
nor are all Digimon consistently stronger at each stage. Determining your play style will be a linchpin on
your choice (i.e. will you tank, focus on ranged attacks, or provide support?). Additionally, Digimon that
look similar (i.e. palette-swapped) are not always identical with abilities (this is intentional!!), so if you
like Ogremon don't forget to check Hyogamon and Fugamon in case they are a better fit for what you
want. Your DM might have suggestions based on the campaign setting.
Step 5: Build your Digidestined. Avoid Skills and Proficiencies your Rookie (or initial Armor/Champion)
Digimon will already be able to provide you. Choose a practical tool over tools that might not be
applicable to your campaign (unless you are absolutely sure your fellow players are covering enough of
these concerns). Obviously, role play should supersede practicality (calling your attacks should be
standard). But we all also don't want to be in a campaign where everyone has Perception proficiency and
Tinkers’ tools proficiency. Make sure you and the rest of the party have a general understanding of who
is playing what so multiple people don't make a Tai, Yolei, Henry, or Ken build.
Step 6: Now that you've built your Digidestined and chosen your Rookie, go ahead and pick out your
Champion form if you haven't already done so. You might not need it yet, but knowing what you've
chosen may help you see if it would be practical for the campaign before it's your permanent choice.
Step 7: Be ready to jump into a world of Digimon! Your DM might mix it up and combine D&D monsters
with evil Digimon to bring you a blended campaign. Or you might end up stuck in the Digital World and
must find your way home. Or maybe your DM watched Adventure 02 last weekend and decided your
adventures in the Digital World will be intertwined with your home life and an evil human plotting in the
shadows. Whatever the case, expect you and your Digimon to face enemies and obstacles that test your
skills and Digivolution limits.
Step 8: Depending on your level and subclass, you will be keeping up with 1 player character sheet and
1-13 Digimon character sheets (1-4 for Standard and Tamer, 1-6 for Unfurled, and 1-13 for Armor).
Remember to update all sheets at once and have your digivolution choice ready for your turn, because
most or all members of the party will slow combat down with this issue! It's one of the reasons why hit
points and other factors for your Digimon partner are simplified: that's A LOT of sheets to update every
level!
Q&A
Why Digimon in Dungeons and Dragons 5e?
I was inspired by Pokemon5e (before its depressing dismantlement by Nintendo and WotC) to provide
the “other ‘Mon” for those who might prefer its features in D&D. As I’ve explained to my wife: Digimon
lets your partner revert to its smaller form outside of danger, let’s you focus on only one, and can be
treated more like an equal than a pet. Those differences alone could make Digimon more preferred in
D&D than Pokemon due to less information to keep up with, without a debate over which franchise is
better. Also, Digimon has always been more of an ensemble – even when half the group is Digimon – so
cooperation is integrated into the franchise and is precisely how D&D is built.
The point was to have fun bringing the anime scenarios to life in the form of a D&D campaign. The video
games don’t really do that part justice (unless there is a game I’m unaware of with some kind of
multiplayer story mode). Being able to drop my players into a world with no memory of how they got
there and bonding with these strange talking monsters before eventually facing off against Devimon just
sounded like an amazing motivation to create Digimon 5e.
How does Digimon 5e work?
Well, you start off with your Digidestined character and a Rookie Digimon. The Digidestined tab
addresses the Digidestined portion of building a character. The Tips tab offers suggestions on how to
build your PC and Digimon partner and recommendations to those who might be overwhelmed by the
volume of options. The Digivolution tab lists every Digimon and each option as it digivolves (every time
you move to the right, every block to the right that is connected to the current block is an option for
you). Then you have the Features tab that goes over all level-based features AND all subclass options.
There’s also specifically tailored Feats for Digidestined.
Overall, the objective is to build a relationship between your PC and your Digimon that either drives your
story arc or drives your motivations. With a pair of characters to control, you and your party can
strategize more (i.e. utilize double the characters you normally would) for flanking or more complicated
strategies.
There is also a Digimon Stat Block tab to expedite building your partner Digimon, because building one
character can be complicated enough as it is.
Does Digimon 5e have issues?
I would be more shocked if it didn’t. The other day, I had 76 Rookies within a total 554 Digimon (Rookies
through Mega, plus alternate modes, alternate stat blocks, and Armor). I think my very first release was
around 50 total with no Armor or alternate modes. I have since rebalanced a lot but there’s still more to
consider. There are/were issues with the definition of hover and/or float, the consistency on
multiattacks, how spells operate, melee range for the larger Digimon, and more. There wasn’t even a
monster manual until this year (and even then, it’s being refined with each update). And as I keep adding
and updating, each update will be better balanced and consistent as I keep up with those changes as I
add more material. In fact, while it might not be specifically defined under my updates, there is plenty of
random information that is updated each time – such as Digimon movement speeds, skills, typo
corrections, rephrasing of abilities, names (I’ve misspelled more than I care to admit and sometimes the
original Japanese name sounds so much better), and more – I recommend updating your information
with the latest release when possible (as a group) because as I rebalance and clarify information it will
either simplify things or broaden your options.
The biggest challenge is playtesting. There’s maybe 12 Rookies that have been playtested, with maybe
double that as Champions and above, and two Armor sets. That’s only 16% of the Rookies and 18% of
Armor sets (as of this comment). If anyone dives into this homebrew and sees issues, please tell me so it
can be addressed for others in the next update. I am but one human who already plays in 2 groups and
DMs 2 others; only one of these groups is Digimon 5e. I cannot playtest everything I’ve created alone.
Even now, I’m making notes on what updates to make to the Monster Manual moving forward because
trying to implement them now would further delay the next update.
Only one Digimon partner?
Digimon 5e is built with the superior ability of controlling two PCs (Digidestined and Digimon) at once
and being able to digivolve your partner to address obstacles. For this reason, any option to offer a
second Digimon partner would be overpowered. For example, your PC may wear armor (depends on
subclass), upgrade its weapons, develop more proficiencies, and be attuned to magic items. Your
Digimon partner will get stronger but not have access to these things. Based on the hit points of other
classes, you and your partner will be above a Barbarian’s hit points (on average), but those hit points are
distributed between two PCs. By adding a second Digimon, this can easily shift the balance to require the
DM to bring out even higher CR monsters to compensate, cause a Digidestined to run out of DigiPoints
too quickly, and allow for one player to one-shot some enemies they normally shouldn’t.
However, it is always up to the DM on whether to institute a house rule regarding a second Digimon
partner. It just isn’t recommended for the reasons above.
What if my favorite Digimon isn’t in the game or part of a Digivolution I would like?
I’ve had several people ask me to add Digimon (Frigimon comes to mind) and ask for Digimon to be
linked together (someone asked that Machinedramon be connected to all appropriate Ultimate
Digimon). I won’t guarantee your Digimon will be included in exactly the way you would like, but I do
take suggestions and requests. In the end, balance and diversity will be influential of how any requests
are included. As I add more Digimon moving forward, my goal is to connect them to the appropriate
Digimon in a Digivolution the first time so long as it doesn’t create an OP choice or a preferred Rookie
that has all the favorites. And as I start to reweigh stats between Digimon of the same stage, there might
a connection or two that gets cut for balance sake.
Why are certain Digimon connected to certain other Digimon?
Digimon 5e was originally built to be faithful to the anime, covering just the original 7 then a few other
“Gen 1” Rookies. But as time went on, it made sense to broaden the selection to add variety. This
decision also gave me the option to use many Digimon repeatedly. But some Digimon were not “linked”
to other Digimon in any official capacity but were in video games and card games. From that point, I
considered diversity, obscurity, consistency between stages, and the links between Digimon in
non-anime media. I also wanted to avoid favoritism, so limiting the Champions and Ultimates per Rookie
keeps players from defaulting on the same Rookie for their favorite Mega. This became less of an issue as
time went on, as shown with Gizamon’s very broad Champion options.
What’s with the various Crests in the Tamers cards?
Given the variety of Crests in the original series, as well as the later addition of Kindness, I felt it was
necessary and natural to include various virtues and healthy mindsets as alternatives for people who
want to deviate from the traditional options. That’s why Humility, Selflessness, Diligence, Gentleness,
and Optimism are some of the choices for Crests that I added as suggestions. Players are more than
welcome to use the Tamer Crest cards as a reference for choosing their own. In the end, it’s a trait your
Player Character is capable of but is unused to exhibiting, so choosing a different Crest from the
traditional makes sense because your Character probably doesn’t have the personality of Tai or T.K.
anyways.
As Tamer cards, these Crests can give a Tamer a chance to “cash in” on a different trait than their actual
Crest, which can sometimes turn the tide of combat. This is also the reason why you are restricted to a
single Crest, so it’s not recommended to allow a Digidestined two Crests.
How come the Digimon in the Monster Manual have different ability scores and stats than the
Digimon partner options?
From a practical standpoint, the ability scores are more averaged to keep in line the level of experience
and skill a Digimon partner possesses and providing sufficient motivation to Digivolve by providing better
stats at higher stages (though this isn’t always the case with every higher stage). In addition, the Monster
Manual was built to be more aligned to traditional D&D monster standards (as opposed to the entire
Digidestined class, which gives you a partner that can get increasingly stronger alongside you).
The lore standpoint is that your Digimon partner did not Digivolve naturally and develop the expected
skills it otherwise would’ve learned in the wild. In other words, your Digimon partner will be slower,
weaker, smarter, more sociable, more/less resistant, or learn less attacks than its wild counterpart. And
there’s nothing wrong with that; you would prefer to have a partner that can use Performance or identify
plants or has a higher Dexterity ability score than the wild Digimon’s stat block because you need a
partner that can complement you in more ways than just combat (unless you prefer that, in which case
there are specific PC Digimon for that). That doesn’t mean the Monster Manual hasn’t affected some of
the partner Digimon; a few have had some stat adjustments to be more like their wild counterparts while
still being more balanced.
From a gaming standpoint, it keeps the players from simply looking at a PC character sheet for that exact
same Digimon and going “Oh, it’s weak to that and can swim that far.” By offering monster Digimon with
less predictable stats, the players are left guessing on some specifics that could catch them by surprise
(like more movement speed or better saving throw rolls). It’s also a reason why I offer multiple CR
options for a Digimon; your players won’t know if Wizardmon or Raremon is the tank of the enemy force.
Why are Tamers cards broken up into sets? And why so many?
Like everything else in the game, I wanted to ensure there was plenty of variety of cards for Tamers. It
felt wrong to not provide ample cards to customize the deck of each Tamer to benefit their playstyle and
Digimon partner (since that is also very flexible). I broke the cards up into sets once I realized there were
a bit too many cards to sort through for a DM to pick out the ones available for each session. D&D’s
recommended restriction for character building to use only the PHB and one additional book inspired me
to suggest exactly that: choose the Traditional set and one other set so you’re going through a fraction of
the cards instead of all of them. And each set has a different theme, so a DM can choose a secondary set
they feel works best for the campaign. It’s at the DM’s discretion how many card sets will be available,
but every Tamer will stay within those sets (so no one must keep up with a card set exclusive to any one
player). If there were ever an expansion of Tamers cards, they would be consolidated into a new set.
If I had to describe this in a way D&D players are familiar with, it is the equivalent of Wizards collecting
scrolls and learning spells. The spell list keeps growing with each release, and a Wizard’s spellbook gets
bigger as they level up. Thus, the Tamer cards could be compared to that.
What happens when a Digimon has spellcasting?
Rule of thumb here is to assume the spell is cast at the most basic level possible. But as the description
states (assuming all Digimon have been properly revised), you would reference the spell table for a D&D
class to find what the highest spell slot available at that level and that’s the level your Digimon will cast
at – if the spell grows for each spell slot above the initial. If this doesn’t seem clear enough for people,
tell me.
Update: it’s version 1.18 now and the language in spellcasting should be both consistent and
understandable. With One D&D playtest material released, the language might change again but that’s
still up in the air.
Why are the X-Antibody abilities available to large groups? Why are we allowed to choose how our
Digimon gets stronger from the X-Antibody?
Well, the first issue with X-Antibody is not all Digimon had an official X-Antibody equivalent. There wasn’t
anything to follow; at least, nothing consistent. Then there’s the issue that X-Antibody descriptions
suggested the Digimon was almost as strong as the next stage, which felt game-breaking for D&D. And
with the hundreds of Digimon available already, doubling that by designing each X-Antibody option
felt… excessive. After making a dozen or so of these Digimon, I realized I would never be able to cover
all the Digimon in the game without sacrificing time on something else. By having certain traits restricted
to broad groups, I am able to provide the option without name-checking every single one. That doesn’t
mean I won’t eventually revise that to be more exclusive, such as “Bancho” only or only named Digimon,
but it does limit availability of certain skills so that building an OP X-Antibody won’t be easy. That’s why
Nimble Escape is restricted to the smallest of Digimon, regardless of stage, and Flyby is restricted to
Digimon with a fly speed over 40 feet. By allowing players to customize the X-Antibody like they would
everything else, you have some freedom to dictate speed, attack range, ability score increases, or even
just an ability your Digimon could really benefit from.
Which subclass is best?
This is a loaded question. Each subclass was built with the intention that if two different subclassed
Digidestined had a PvP fight and had the same Rookie, they should be equally matched to a certain
extent. It would all come down to your build, playstyle, luck, and use of DigiPoints.
For example, the Standard Digidestined has all the traditional hallmarks of Digimon Adventure and has
an emphasis on well-roundedness. In contrast, Armor Digidestined cannot obtain an Ultimate form or
standard Mega form, but their Armor forms are stronger than the average Champion. Then you have the
Tamer, which may be a mixed-bag of power depending on which cards are drawn; the Tamer is built to
mimic the original Digi-Battle card game and the anime and could be considered the gambler of the
subclasses with the odds of drawing the appropriate cards varying. Unfurled is intended to resemble the
card games and video games where you had options, but at the sacrifice of never getting a Mega form.
Then there’s Hacker, which places significant emphasis on your PC to be in melee range of enemies and
staying close to your Digimon to be effective. And finally, we have Mimic: the disguises and copying other
Digimon subclass.
Update: it’s version 1.18 and after lots of demand I’m now offering playtest material for DNA
Digivolution! I’m not 100% sure if I made it too powerful or underpowered because the focus was on
making it distinct and adding benefits for your Digimon after it has DNA digivolved. This subclass
currently focuses on intelligence, inspiration, tracking, and working with other DNA Digidestined (which
is a bit broad, but there’s a reason it’s playtest material). Send me feedback on this one!
There’s an Armor version and a Champion version of the same Digimon. What gives?
As I developed some homebrew Armor choices so there’s more than 6 Digimon available, I utilized a few
existing Digimon to be Armor forms rather than create new Digimon from whole cloth every time. But as
I took the time to rebalance everything after quadrupling the number of Digimon, I noticed the Armor
Digimon were technically OP if they were classified as Champions. This would mean that any Armor
Digimon that retroactively was made a Champion (such as Boarmon) would be between a Champion and
Ultimate in terms of stats and vice-versa for Champions I considered for Armor forms. This led to the
decision to simply split them apart and adjust the new one to fall in line with the appropriate Stage type.
Most of the changes affected movement speed, abilities, skill proficiencies, and numbers of attacks and
thus could be reasonable in the grand scheme of things. But the full difference between the Armor and
Champion options of the same Digimon are significant enough to warrant the separation because it
would affect people’s preferences on digivolving to Champion or higher.
Update: it’s version 1.18 and there’s now a DNA Digivolution equivalent for some Digimon. Don’t fret, it’s
for the now playtest material. But they are designed to be slightly stronger than the normal stages
because DNA Digivolution is expected to be very niche with few options. It’s also expected to require
more effort to achieve DNA Digivolution, so being slightly superior in combat compensates for that
tidbit.
Why do some Digimon have “has X options” under the Digivolution tab?
I mentioned in a previous update the difficulty of including everything for a Digimon. In some cases,
there’s a dozen or more attacks to choose from. Sometimes, the descriptions for Digimon do not always
fit the characterizations in anime or video games. As part of a way to include more, there are now
alternate choices for the same Digimon as a stage for your partner. The overall stats may be tweaked, as
well as using new attacks, but the Digimon are of equal strength/capabilities.
What’s with the Digimon/Monster Stat Blocks and Tamer Card Blocks?
Exactly what they mean. All the information is in rows, so these blocks are to lay out the stats in a block
form that can be printed. This was essential due to the number of character sheets a player must
maintain. Every time a player levels up, they must update their PC, the Rookie form, the Champion form,
and anywhere from 2 to 11 additional character sheets (depending on PL). The Digimon stat block is
designed to accommodate PL in some of the information to expedite things, but other info will need to
be calculated by the player because of feats, subclass features, and other changes that would affect
some information.
Same with the Tamer Card Block. Making a quick card format generator will allow the DM and/or players
to have the card information in squares instead of tiny strips of paper (or copying my work over into
something else to be printable. This way saves everyone time. If there needs to be more than 2 of these
blocks available, I can do that.
With all that said, I will say that the Monster Stat Block leaves something to be desired. I tried to squeeze
in abilities, bonus actions, actions, reactions, and legendary actions based on the current format. If it’s
not obvious, it wasn’t fully practical. On one hand, it’s simplified so the DM isn’t trying to keep up a
dozen abilities on a single monster, so I guess that’s one way to look at it. But I did not include lair
actions on anything, so that is something I have taken note of for future updates. Expect this thing to be
overhauled when I convert the monster manual to Homebrewery.
Why are Digimon so varied in the Monster Manual?
To it simply, it’s hard to find a perfect match of an existing D&D monster to base each Digimon on. Some
required me to have 2 or 3 official stat blocks up at the same time and blend them together into a
Digimon monster. The experience itself shouldn’t be affected by a Champion and Ultimate being the
same CR.
Although, the lore is that these Digimon collected data from their enemies and “leveled up” like the PCs
do. This explanation is also why the same Digimon at different CRs don’t always share the same skills and
traits.
What is “Float”?
Float is a new movement type included within Digimon 5e. The concept is like hover but under different
conditions. Float can be compared to magnetic levitation; Digimon with float simply pass over any
terrain type and do not necessarily fly or hover, meaning they are always taking up a space on the
ground without touching the ground. This provides a new aspect of combat that must be considered,
one where traps, difficult terrain, and the importance of prone could determine the outcome.
What is “Code” damage?
Code damage is a new damage type introduced to address a few details within Digimon. Code damage
only affects Digimon, and they normally cannot be resistant to it (but can never be immune). This makes
Code damage worthless against Digidestined and any other PCs if the DM is running a hybrid game with
normal D&D classes. The latest update has expanded the availability of this damage type to more
Digimon, so expect to strategize differently to accommodate this damage type.
What’s the hardest thing about developing Digimon 5e?
I would say meeting expectations. I’m usually asked at least one question every update that implies I
didn’t meet an expectation. I am making Digimon 5e for me and my friends and simply giving everyone
else an opportunity, so it’s not necessarily a standard to which I must hold myself. However, I want to
provide material that is fun, easy to understand, relives our childhoods, and is balanced enough to make
everyone feel okay regardless of their Digidestined build.
Humorously, I would say self-control. There are 517 Tamers cards (as of this writing), which I imagine no
party of 8 Tamers could ever collect all of them. I can’t even imagine a player who has played the
Digidestined class 12 times with a different Rookie each time (though I won’t say it’s impossible). If
there’s anyone out there who has utilized 6 different Mega forms, I bow to you and would love to hear
from you, because I have enough material here to completely ignore most D&D material, and it would be
quite impressive to reach such heights.
As one friend told me (besides that I talk too much), I keep diving deeper into the lore. There are
Digimon listed that my group never heard of before I added them. There are Digimon palette swaps they
didn’t expect (let’s face it, that’s one of the most infamous things about Digimon that everyone should
know) nor realized are better or completely different than the original. There’s at least one “Bancho”
Digimon I added because of an off-hand joke about how it would fit in with the others. The descriptions
of homebrewed Digimon below comes from one comment that no one knows what was going through
my mind when I made it, and each is tailored to either reference the inspiration or give a background
that makes it distinct – but it will try to fit into the overall lore. The Devas, the Demon Lords, the
Sovereigns, and more; I either try to include one or all of them for fans to appreciate.
One good thing about doing this was accidentally discovering an existing official Digimon that I ended up
homebrewing (i.e. basically I made something like GreyAgumon and later discovered a BlackAgumon and
just went “well, don’t need the homebrew now”). I am defaulting to existing Digimon when possible, so
this list has helped me remove redundant homebrews. That’s not stopping me from including
homebrews with different digivolutions, so it’s not going away. And with my newer goal of including the
Frontier Digimon (still debating if spirit digivolution should be an option, since you lose the mechanic of
a Digimon partner), I’m hoping to offer more nostalgia than ever.
Homebrew Digimon descriptions
Exactly what it says. Here are the homebrew Digimon descriptions formatted to resemble what you
might find on a wiki site. Not everything is here yet, but this is an ongoing thing that I am working on
when taking breaks doing everything else with Digimon 5e.
Garudamon Aruna Mode is a Bird Man Digimon. As a result of wanting to be more attuned to nature, it
gained a sense of balance and determination. It has developed a bit of a bulk and has more stamina in
combat than its previous form. It can deal a crushing blow against evil by swooping from the sky or
swimming up from below its enemies. Despite its appearance, it lost some strength and durability while
gaining a tolerance for weather and fire and an unparalleled stubbornness. Its wings are almost always
on fire while flying and extinguish themselves before being submerged, which becomes a very handy
trait for drying themselves off after a heavy rain. It is rumored that only one Garudamon Aruna Mode is
alive at any one time, although this is contested as at least one known Digimon Tamer has digivolved
their Garudamon to this level.
RebornPhoenixmon is an Animal Digimon. While it is a Holy Digimon and has many identifiable traits of
a Phoenixmon, many Digimon argue that it is an Evil Digimon due to its charred and burnt wings. It is a
Phoenixmon that has resurrected more than once and thus developed strange and new abilities. It does
not have the same amount of endurance or speed as a Phoenixmon but makes up for that with more
strength and wisdom. A reason why many Digimon believe it is an Evil Digimon is due to its parasitic
attacks and ability to heal those around it at the cost of its own health. All of its resurrections cost it its
Holy Rings and helmet, leaving behind larger talons and a more cylindrical, larger beak.
BanchoZudomon is a Sea Animal and Power Digimon. Its determination and sheer willpower allowed it
to grow into a “Bancho”. It is waiting to be invited to join the other “Bancho” Digimon and thus lacks a
“Gaku-Ran”. Instead, it has a deep-blue bandanna tied over its eyes. Its shell has eroded enough to allow
greater mobility without sacrificing the protection it provides. Pieces of its shell have been melded into
its hammer to give it a larger frame and greater sharpness. While it has a personal sense of “Justice” like
other “Bancho”, it has established itself as the “Bancho” that would be the last to fall in battle with its
unyielding endurance. Rumor has it that it can be told apart from other Zudomon due to its constantly
dirty, mud-caked fur and dulled horn.
Zudomon Blizgulis Mode is a Sea Animal and Power Digimon. Zudomon evolved further and gained the
ability to fly. In Blizgulis Mode, its shell has fractured near the edges to provide hinged armor to the
shoulders, abs, and hips. Its shell hides a cape of feathers stolen from various Giant Bird Digimon, though
Aquilamon feathers are the majority. Its most noteworthy change is its hammer, which has shrunk and
oft mistaken for a kendama toy. Regardless of this change, its hammer is just as fierce as before.
ThorZudomon is a Sea Animal and Beast Man Digimon. While it is also a Holy Digimon, it is mistaken for
a small Zudomon Blizgulis Mode. This mistake is compounded by its frequent appearances from dusk
until dawn, where it is seen with little light at far distances. It is known for protecting nature – primarily
the ocean – from needless destruction and will often pursue the responsible creatures across an entire
hemisphere to dish out a punishment it deems appropriate. ThorZudomon has a smaller curved horn
and a green Chronodigizoit helmet and gauntlets protecting what remains of the pelts from its Zudomon
form. Eyewitness accounts claim its skin and shell color have darkened beyond a general Zudomon’s and
thus can be identified as a completely different Digimon – though most creatures close enough to make
this determination may not live long enough to confirm this. Its hammer has also changed again, this
time resembling a Warhammer that was made for a creature of its strength but of a smaller size. Its
hammer is its source of flight as well as its source of many attacks.
ToyGreymon is a Puppet Digimon. It is a unique Digimon that is composed of unique plastic blocks.
Having Digivolved from Toy Agumon, it stands out among many Digimon for its unusual, disjointed
appearance contrasting its innocent behavior. In actuality, it dislikes its appearance for how others treat
it and plays up its innocence so others will let down their guard around it. ToyGreymon has few friends
and treats them with the upmost respect, but there is no indication that ToyGreymon befriend one
another.
ToyRizeGreymon is a Puppet Digimon. ToyRizeGreymon was born by defeating and assimilating multiple
ToyGreymon prior to digivolving. While its general appearance is more social acceptable than its
predecessor, ToyRizeGreymon did not lose its deceptive nature. It goes so far as to hide weapons within
innocent-looking equipment such as its signature trident. Despite its composition of plastic blocks, it has
learned how to fly from studying MetalGreymon and RizeGreymon – the latter of which it tried to mimic
the appearance of as much as possible. It considers TealOkuwamon its sole rival, as TealOkuwamon is
considered visually attractive for an insect.
ToyShinyWarGreymon is a Puppet Digimon. While it looks like a blocky version of WarGreymon, it is
actually built from pieces of its previous ToyRizeGreymon body, Andromon, Shawjamon, and
CannonBeemon. It has stolen and plundered items and parts from WarGreymon, such as its “Dramon
Destroyers” and the pieces that comprise the “Brave Shield”. In fact, stealing from WarGreymon has
made ToyShineWarGreymon a mortal enemy of all WarGreymon. Despite its artificial appearance,
ToyShineWarGreymon has a few parts mixed in that have given it some measurable amount of life,
though whether these parts are organic in nature is up for debate.
HydroVeedramon is a Holy Dragon Digimon. BlackVeedramon digivolved further, and as
HydroVeedramon, it became able to swim with ease. Among the rare species of Veedramon, it is said
that only veteran warriors that have persevered through frequent battles are able to digivolve, so its
existence is more of a legend than fact. The majority of eyewitnesses of this Digimon tend to be old,
experienced ship captains and pirates. Not only did its Digivolution grant it gills and webbed appendages,
but it also digivolved several parts of its body for better grappling, acquiring stronger offensive and
defensive power. Its greatest rival is assumed to be its flying relative, AeroVeedramon.
AlphaVeedramon is a Warrior Digimon. Because HydroVeedramon converted its capabilities from
swimming to flying, it lacks many of the traits its sibling UlforceVeedramon possesses – including its
unparalleled speed, its status as a “Royal Knight”, and its Tensegrity shield. Despite lacking these traits,
AlphaVeedramon is stronger and has better trained eyes, as well as “Dramon Destroyers” inspired by
WarGreymon so as to be capable to defeating its more famous and respected sibling should it ever
become evil.
BanchoGargomon is an Animal and Hunting Digimon. It is one of the newest recruits in the “Bancho”
family. It wears its “Gaku-Ran” tied over its head, above the eyes. Its jeans are worn and tattered from its
numerous battles in its fight for “Justice”. The diamond marking on its forehead has a diagonal scar
running through it from the Mammothmon it defeated to finally become a “Bancho”. While it retains
some of its humor from Terriermon and Gargomon, there is a layer of seriousness and thinly veiled
threats within much of its humor. BanchoGargomon is known for picking fights with larger Digimon and
flipping many unfortunate souls over its shoulder during battle.
UltraRaremon is an Undead, Composite, and Cyborg Digimon. Its level of decay and assimilation of
additional data has caused it to become something completely unpredictable and unfathomable. Its eyes
are of different colors and mixed in throughout its body alongside spots, scabs, and moles. It has become
more yellow overall, with mechanical arms that it uses to refine its movements for more precise attacks
and mobility. Humans that witnessed the first known UltraRaremon describe it as “Geremon digivolving
into Argus”. Depending on the angle and its current actions, it has been mistaken for a humanoid, an
angel, a beast, an elemental, and a shapeshifter. It is no longer harmed by its own decay and instead can
control its release, often storing up excess amounts to release as a defense mechanism. UltraRaremon
are constant enemies of ThorZudomon due to their passive harm to environments.
Onimon is an Evil Digimon. While Ogremon is known for resembling an Oni of Japanese folklore, Onimon
embodies that creature most accurately. It has copied Leomon’s “Fist of the Beast King” and developed
its own equivalent as a sign of respect for its rival. Its unsightly appearance provides more unease and
intimidation than Ogremon ever could. It is said that children who beg for a Digimon partner while not
learning from mistakes will be visited by Onimon and never ask for a Digimon ever again.
BanchoOgremon is an Evil Digimon. It is a Demon Digimon that fought to elevate itself to be a worthy
opponent of BanchoLeomon. Although it gained the title of “Bancho”, it is not have a sense of “Justice”
but rather a sense of “Respect”. Its muscles have grown excessive in size to rival the strength of
BanchoLeomon. Unlike other “Bancho” Digimon, BanchoOgremon uses more cunning and enemy lackeys
to overcome obstacles. The “Gaku-Ran” tied at its waist is endowed with a defensive function that
deflects 77.2% of ill-intent targeting BanchoOgremon. Unlike its predecessor, BanchoOgremon carries
the jawbone of SkullGreymon on its back, so that no enemy dares attack him from behind.
Catsithmon is a Mythical Animal Digimon. It has a healthy curiosity regarding magic, so it is often
studying practitioners or data to learn more. Though it is small, it is regarded as a respectable spellcaster,
which is signified by its blue and purple robe. The robe itself is actually too big for Catsithmon, but it
refused to relinquish it for tailoring and instead has a train roughly a meter long. One of the most
fascinating details of a Catsithmon is its pitch-black coat with a single white spot on the upper chest, as
well as its subtle resemblance to BlackGatomon and Mikemon – a resemblance that scholars believe
signifies those two species merged into Catsithmon. Despite the similarities, it tends to behave far
differently and with fewer hunting skills like a lack of night vision. It relies on spells almost to the
detriment of traditional attacks, so it becomes useless in a prolonged fight; fortunately, it rarely enters a
fight it expects to drag on because of this weakness.
Lizardmon is a Reptile Digimon. It stands out due to its mundane features and lack of color contrast. It is
known for its general appearance of a large lizard with extremely purple eyes and its ability to slip away
from enemies. It is never considered a threat by other Rookie-level Digimon, however older Digimon are
aware of what Lizardmon can Digivolve into if ignored.
Crocodilemon is a Reptile Digimon. It armor-digivolved due to the “Digi-Egg of Reliability”. The “Digi-Egg
of Reliability” has an attribute of “Water”, and those that don this Digi-Egg demonstrate their true power
underwater. A strange case of armor digivolution, Crocodilemon was established as a Champion form for
Lizardmon before its identity as an Armor Digimon was discovered. The scales on its back are made of
lime Chronodigizoit, which match its regular scales and skin, which make it truly valuable. Crocodilemon
exhibit a host of distinct personalities, each displayed in how they hunt. These personalities range from
confident and aggressive to silent and deadly and many parts in-between. When Crocodilemon sleeps, it
is more difficult to find without its ocean blue eyes. Among Lizardmon’s digivolution forms, it has the
shortest tail.
Gatormon is a Reptile Digimon. It is considered the most aggressive and instinctive of Lizardmon’s
digivolutions. It is notable for being faster on average than its counterparts and quicker to react to
danger but is also considered less intelligent. It has been seen leading other Digimon into battle, usually
lower-stage amphibious Digimon. It is the consider more sociable than its counterparts, though it leaves
much to be desired on that front. Gatormon comes in a few shades of grey, primarily dark grey or
smokey-grey. It’s tail is covered in Chronodigizoit of the same color. It has azure eyes and a
yellowish-green underside and wide feet to hold itself while swinging its tail. Those that speak often
forget their name for no discernable reason.
Caimon is a Reptile Digimon. It is often compared to Crocodilemon for everything, though they tend to
be neck-and-neck in a race. It is actually superior to Crocodilemon in raw combat, but lacks its skills and
proficiencies – meaning Crocodilemon could win in a fight between them if it utilized all its talents.
Caimon’s scales tend to grow at a distinct angle, which helps it take less damage depending on the angle
of attack. The scales around its neck are made of moss Chronodigizoit, which make Caimon truly
valuable. Unlike Crocodilemon, its normal scales are basil-colored, so identifying where its head is
located is much simplier. Caimon tend to be highly territorial, but will leave powerful intruders alone
unless the intruder hunts for food in its waters.
Gharialmon is a Reptile Digimon. It is the fastest swimmer of Lizardmon’s digivolutions, but the slower
runner as well. It’s distinct olive and dark grey striping gives it excellent camouflage and can make
sharp-eyed Digimon unsure if it is Gharialmon or Gatormon. They are shown to be the most varied on
skill sets and are shown to replicate skills from other Reptile Digimon. They also exhibit an ability to heal
other Digimon via touch, though their antisocial behavior makes it rare to witness this ability outside of
Gharialmon using it on each other. It has a yellow and white striped underside to further protect itself
even when on its back. One particular Gharialmon is a Digimon doctor and runs a clinic treating Rookie,
reptile, and amphibious Digimon.
TriCrocodilemon is a Dark Animal Digimon. As part of its digivolution, TriCrocodilemon possesses a
natural camouflage coat of scales that it relies on to hunt prey and hide from danger. It can often be seen
drowning its prey if near water, but it otherwise will rapid-fire attack it with its three heads. Sneaking up
on one is near-impossible, but Digmon and Drimogemon have found ways around that. It is native to the
swamps on the border of the Dark Ocean, but it occasionally explores and fights anything it deems
dangerous. Each head has a different set of eye colors, indicating which head is being seen before its
victim is attacked.
AlleyGatormon is a Dark Animal and Reptile Digimon. It holds the distinction of being the first
digivolution in the Lizardmon line to have the capacity to dig, to be exclusively a Virus type, and look the
least like a creature in the Crocodilia order. It now has 5 shades of grey covering its body in splotches,
with the lightest also covering its entire underside. Its elbows and shoulders are padded with
Chronodigizoit and shows exceptional skill at avoiding capture. If a Digi-egg village is near a bayou or
creek, there’s a chance an AlleyGatormon will protect it from cyborg and android Digimon, a level of
protection that nearly covers the entire Metal Empire.
IslandCaimon is a Deep Saver Digimon. Its upper half can be mistaken for a island if seen from a
distance, so many of its prey come to it from the ocean. It’s slower compared to most Deep Saver
Digimon, but it makes up for that with strength. Digimon it is friendly with will ride it from island to
island, using IslandCaimon as a ship and feeding it Data Digimon as payment. It will usually use its wide
head to ram opponents, sometimes as its opening attack. It’s sandy-colored back feels almost completely
authentic but is extremely superficial and thus can be distinguished from an actual island. Its underside
is a shade of grey that makes mixing it up with AlleyGatormon entirely possible if seen from below.
AzureGomamon is a Sea Animal Digimon. It is able to move on land and has a temperature-maintaining
coat. Its short, blue coat grows with its body and well blacken as it matures. Unlike Gomamon, there is
no predictable personality for AzureGomamon. All AzureGomamon originate from a small island they
were isolated on for several hundred years before a great battle opened their lake up to the ocean. The
yellow fur growing along its back from the top of its head moves with its emotions, though it will
sometimes get this fur wet to mask its emotions better. It is a friendly and sneaky Digimon, though its
preferences and intentions vary far more than with Gomamon.
DarkIkkakumon is a Sea Animal Digimon. Unlike Ikkakumon, it is far more mysterious and rarer. The few
that have encountered them have stated it is elusive and will encase itself in ice to defend against
powerful attacks from Ultimate and Mega Digimon. It has been witnessed in combat against Ikkakumon
and, although it lost the battle, onlookers agreed it took sharper turns, used surprise attacks, and made
reckless moves that could have won it the battle if the Ikkakumon was less experienced. There are no
records of DarkIkkakumon moving in groups, though there is speculation that this is more due to the
rarity of them rather than a choice.
ChromeFrigimon is an Icy Digimon. It has a body that is covered in ice and chromium and was discovered
on a computer near the North Pole. Humans joke that it came about from a certain popular internet
browser, though no Digimon has understood this reference. While it exhibits many of the mannerisms
and behaviors of a Frigimon, they are known to use their body’s brightness in sunlight to disorient their
enemies and prey; ironically, the few times ChromeFrigimon have been hunting as a group, there is
always a situation where they cannot directly help one another due to the blinding light reflecting off
one another. Due to this, they are shown to be greatly independent and develop skills for self-sufficiency
to reduce interactions with each other, though there is always effort being made to spend time together.
BlackZudomon is a Sea Animal Digimon. As the digivolved form of DarkIkkakumon, it became a Power
Digimon and can now walk on two legs. It is easy to tell apart from ordinary Zudomon due to its
extremely black skin and bleach-white shell. Oddly enough, they are more common than
DarkIkkakumon, which made many believe regular Ikkakumon could digivolve into it. Few can say
whether there are truly any other differences between both Zudomon, but those that have fought both
swear on the Digimon Sovereigns that BlackZudomon is faster and can see in the dark, but is weaker
than Zudomon – thus, BlackZudomon are considered less dangerous if defeated quickly enough. Outside
of combat, it sometimes passes itself off as Zudomon by covering its shell with algae and staying
submerged; occasionally, this leads to some Digimon getting a free ride through the ocean on its back
believing it is simply a kind Zudomon.
CeruleanVikemon is a Beast Man Digimon. It is a Mega Digimon which roams the freezing lands of the
permafrost, where nothing ever thaws. Its fur has become ice crystals and as hard as Chrome Digizoid,
but retains its blue color. It is often mistaken for a frozen waterfall or a large crystal deposit within caves.
They like to elude their Vikemon brothen to avoid frequent combat, otherwise there would be no
CeruleanVikemon in existence. They stay hidden by swimming faster than Vikemon and warping space
with their morning star “Mjollnir” it carries on its back. It is a compassionate creature with weaker and
smaller Digimon, but will exhibit aggressive behavior in an instant when there is a threat. Unlike ordinary
Vikemon, it is far less aggressive and lacks Vikemon’s berserker behavior.
RedPlesiomon is a Dragon Digimon. It is a previously imaginary Digimon created by a human child and is
explicitly based off Plesiomon. Due to its origins, there are few, if even more than one, in existence. Its
red coat resembles a crayon-like texture, while its upright scales have a navy blue marker texture and its
accents having a green pencil-like texture. It is unquestionably superior to Plesiomon in every way if its
appearance is not factored into the determination. It often waits for Plesiomon to appear in fog to attack
them, often giving ships a nightmarish view of the battle in the fog. While waiting on Plesiomon to
appear, it may or may not push ships and weak Digimon with its head when they are in clear need of aid.
Retrievermon is a Beast Digimon. Adorable, reliable, and obedient, this is the most dependable Digimon
a Digimon Tamer could ask for. They are known for their love of long walks, sniffing anything and
everything, and their drive to deliver random things to a friend. As many Digimon have experienced, you
can train a Retrievermon, and they can learn a variety of skills. It is rumored that someone could take
four Retrievermon at random and have enough skills available to travel from end to end on the continent
with only dangerous Digimon as the only concern.
Siberiamon is a Beast Digimon. It is known for its ability to thrive in colder climates alongside Mojyamon
and Fugamon, though it is not fond of Frigimon. Like Retrievermon, there’s a known versatility that can
be trained into them, though their preference for snow and ice makes traveling long distances unlikely.
They have a drive to help others and protect those they trust, but they give up these beliefs while food is
present. They can be intimidating at times, while they can be considered extremely friendly when not
executing orders. Living in low temperatures has also given Siberiamon stronger attacks than its
predecessor, though how it fairs in a fight against fire Digimon is a matter of debate.
Chang’emon is a God Man Digimon. It is a Digimon god of the moon which has the appearance of a
beautiful teenage human woman. Eyewitness accounts are exhaustingly inconsistent, leading
researchers to believe Chang’emon appears as the ideal beautiful human woman to each creature that
sees it. As a god of the moon, it exclusively flies everywhere and thrives at night. While it rarely attacks,
it tends to annihilate enemies with unnatural ease, such as harming Digimon that should be more
resistant to the type of attack Chang’emon used. While its physical appearance is consistently inaccurate,
the clothing varies between cheongsam, Enlightment-era European dresses, geisha, Arabian Harem, and
Japanese sailor uniform. It is said that so long as a full moon is out, Chang’emon is watching the Evil
Digimon.
Vi-Tentomon is an Insectoid Digimon. It is a variant of the original type of Insectoid Digimon who has low
aggression and a hard shell. It greatly resembles a Tentomon, except its shell is violet and its eyes red.
When having fun, it will roll down hills by curling its body into a makeshift ball. It lacks the carefree
demeanor of its namesake, but does put effort into appreciating nature and studying different fauna of
trees and weeds. The times it is seen with Tentomon, they show an ability to cooperate and coordinate
for hours at a time, but this truce rarely lasts a full day and often doesn’t occur again for up to a week.
They often befriend Vi-Elecmon after mistaking them for fellow Vi-Tentomon, and continue to be friendly
with them after the confusion is resolved. Because of the confusion, it will aid Vi-Elecmon in battle
thinking it is defending one of its own – which has lead to more than one incident where Vi-Elecmon
come to its aid when predators least expect it.
PhantoKabuterimon is an Undead Insectoid Digimon. While it is among the newly discovered Digimon, it
is equally unique to Kabuterimon. It is a composition of deceased Insectoid Digimon, compiled from
unabsorbed memory data when the Digimon reincarnate as a Digi-Egg. It has memories of skills it’s
never used before, and is a natural in combat. Its greyish body can frighten many unprepared Digimon
due to its shimming appearance. In fact, its shimming appearance is often the cause of Digimon to miss
attacking it in battle. It has an obvious weakness to Holy Digimon and will seek one out to purge itself
when the memories it is composed of become overwhelming.
CricketKabuterimon is an Insectoid Digimon. While the majority of Insectoid Digimon – particularly
stronger than Rookie Digimon – can fly, this type of Kabuterimon instead is a digger. It is easy to identify
as a cockroach equivalent of Kabuterimon, especially without wings, due to its persistently dirty body
from constant digging. It has also developed differently from other Kabuterimon, losing its ability to use
electricity, and instead relying on concussive attacks. It is said that if it encounters a Kabuterimon in
battle, the battle would be decided by how the terrain is laid out.
MegaKabuterimon (Yellow) is an Insectoid Digimon. It is a Digivolution of Kabuterimon that was
discovered within the tropical region of the Net Area. It is almost 1.5-times the size of Kabuterimon and
is quite large among Insectoid Digimon. While its flight abilities and horn strength have regressed to a
certain extent, its precision and accuracy has soared. Also, muscular tissues have appeared on the bases
of its forelimbs, so its grappling ability has also improved. Except for its survival instincts, its behavior has
been observed to consist of protecting the weak, and there are even times when its behavior has
appeared knight-like.
MegaKabuterimon (Green) is an Insectoid Digimon. It is a Digivolution of Kabuterimon that was
discovered within the tropical region of the Net Area. It is almost 1.5-times the size of Kabuterimon and
is quite large among Insectoid Digimon. While its horn strength has regressed to a certain extent, its
flight ability has soared. In fact, it is faster than MegaKabuterimon (Red), but is shown to have less
stamina and thus not last as long in battle. Also, muscular tissues have appeared on the bases of its
forelimbs, so its grappling ability has also improved. Except for its survival instincts, its behavior has been
observed to consist of protecting the weak, and there are even times when its behavior has appeared
chivalrous and knight-like. Due to the very similar behavior between MegaKabuterimon (Green) and
(Yellow), some Digimon villages believe they are one and the same and simply changes appearance
based on the moon cycle or season.
TealOkuwamon is an Insectoid Digimon. As a digivolution of PhantoKabuterimon, it digivolved because
of its own stubbornness and willpower. It is nearly identical to Okuwamon in appearance – except for its
teal color – but is completely different in personality. While it does have a similar survival instinct, it lacks
the destructive impulses of Okuwamon and instead has a more clear head when it gets angry, focusing
its anger on strategies. Its horn is known for being sharper and more durable than a normal
Okuwamon’s, and this is speculated to be the result of its Insectoid data as PhantoKabuterimon.
PerseusKabuterimon is an Insectoid Digimon. It digivolved using data of certain Kabuterimon-species
Digimon. It has a gigantic horn and scissors, and it can be said that its form compensates for many of the
trademark weaknesses of the Kabuterimon-species. Its body shines copper, and it has enhanced its
precision at ranged combat. It has an unsettling number of eyes on its head and chest, which contribute
to its accuracy and intimidation in combat. It is one of the few Insectoid Digimon that can rival
HerculesKabuterimon and GranKuwagamon, though its strength is rarely tested due to how few of all
three of these Digimon there are in existence.
CuhullinKuwagamon is an Insectoid Digimon. It is the second-ultimate form of the Kuwagamon-species
Digimon. It is an especially evil being among Insectoid Digimon and is known for traveling in groups. It
tends to travel during dawn and dusk to avoid encountering other equally strong Insectoid Digimon like
GranKuwagamon and HerculesKabuterimon. They are notorious for tolerating various attacks that
normally devastate other Digimon while also being weak to attacks that other Digimon can resist better.
Because of this, they are regarded as an unpredictable force of nature that are better to avoid than to
engage.
Hellhoundmon is an Evil and Mammal Digimon. It armor-digivolved due to the “Digi-Egg of Courage”.
The “Digi-Egg of Courage” has the attribute of “Flame”, and those that don this Digi-Egg have their
combat ability elevate like an erupting volcano, allowing them to perform attacks on enemy Digimon
with incredible power. Rumor has it that this Digimon climbed out of the depths of the deepest trench
near an active volcano, where only the evilest Digimon tend to reside, and hunts for eviler Digimon to
drag home with it. Despite its average intelligence, it has learned to recognize magic and threats while
hunting its quarry and instinctively intimidates Beast Digimon immediately upon encounter. It is dubbed
the “Black Dog Digimon” and is one of the many stories Elecmon tell In-Training Digimon as an Aesop to
stay vigilant in the wild.
Malamutemon is a Mammal Digimon. It armor-digivolved due to the “Digi-Egg of Friendship”. The
“Digi-Egg of Friendship” has the attribute of “Thunder”, and those that use it move with speed. Its
lightning attacks are arguably on par with Kabuterimon. Malamutemon stands out as a Digimon that can
pass itself off as its namesake until it feels threatened, turning its normally dark fur into a golden-yellow
fur with electricity surging through it. Rumors state this is the reason why Malamutemon was not
discovered for some time, as those that could hid in the real world until they felt the Digital World was
safe.
Fighterjetmon is a Composite and Machine Digimon. It armor-digivolved due to the “Digi-Egg of Love”.
The “Digi-Egg of Love” has the attribute of “Wind”, and those that don it soar through the skies. There
are several variants of its appearance, and these variations “update” based on advancements in fighter
jet technology. While it is possible to encounter a Eurofighter Typhoon, F/A-18 Hornet, or Mikoyan
MiG-29 stylized Fighterjetmon, newer digivolutions will appear as fifth-generation models such as F-22
Raptor, Shenyang J-31, Sukhoi Su-57, and Mitsubishi X-2 Shinshin. Despite appearing like their
namesakes, they can be identified by their eyes, color-scheme, partially-organic tail fins, and lack of
landing gear. Their greatest weakness is their inability to slow down and turn, two aspects that can make
combat with slow, small enemies next to impossible.
Akitamon is a Mammal and Animal Digimon. It armor-digivolved due to the “Digi-Egg of Sincerity”. The
“Digi-Egg of Sincerity” has the attribute of “Plant”, and those who use it become a part of nature. It can
only be mistaken for its namesake in dim lighting, as its coat is several shades of green. They are known
for their “green thumbs” and are often considered protectors of nature from reckless, malevolent
creatures. A handful of Akitamon have crossed over into the real world and actively protect forests
where they end up. Akitamon are also documented being exceptionally friendly with fauna, often
protecting and guiding animals of all ages that need them. They are friendly with Biyomon and
Lepusmon, often without ever meeting one before.
Culicidaemon is an Insect Digimon. It armor-digivolved due to the "Digi-Egg of Knowledge". The
"Digi-Egg of Knowledge" has the attribute of "Earth", and those that don this Digi-Egg wield the power to
manipulate the earth. One of the smallest Armor Digimon in existence, it is known for its low-pitched
buzz while flying and its natural ability to eavesdrop in plain sight. Its armor is so small that Digimon
naturally assume it is less durable and weak to physical assaults – neither of which is true. Its greatest
weakness is its lack of power.
Droolmon is an Animal Digimon. It armor-digivolved due to the “Digi-Egg of Reliability”. The “Digi-Egg of
Reliability” has an attribute of “Water”, and those that don this Digi-Egg demonstrate their true power
underwater. While there is no denying this Digimon’s appearance is strange, there is also no denial that it
is a legitimate threat in the water. If another Digimon rides on its back into battle, Droolmon’s ability to
breathe underwater is mysterious provided to the rider, though falling off during battle tends to be fatal.
For this reason, Divermon will sometimes use them for underwater jousting. However, their biggest
assets are their unique ability to walk directly on top of water and leaving a very slippy trail of saliva in
their wake on land. For these reasons, Droolmon is known for its versatility and resilience to follow its
prey everywhere if it can’t fly. Despite this, it is friendly to other canine-looking Digimon that do not
threaten it, such as Hellhoundmon, Chihuahuamon, and Salamon. It is unknown if it is friendly with
Terriermon, although it is assumed to be a likely possibility. Upon discovery, it was mistaken for a larger
variant of Labramon due to their similar stature, but Droolmon has a more Saint Bernard look with a
tongue that is always touching the ground and stronger legs.
Canismon is a Mythical Animal Digimon. It armor-digivolved through the power of the "Digi-Egg of
Hope". The "Digi-Egg of Hope" has the attribute of "Holy", and those that don this Digi-Egg can obtain
sacred power. It is a founding member of the Constellation Consortium, a group that strives to protect
Digimon at night from Evil and Undead Digimon. Unfortunately, few Digimon eligible to join are even
aware of the group’s existence. Unlike Lepusmon, Canismon is pessimistic regarding the group’s future,
despite its own drive to follow the morals of the group. Canismon is also open to working with the
“Bancho”, even if the “Bancho” disagree. It looks like an older, quadrupedal Terriermon with a tail and
has been mistaken for a Gargomon with no minigun gauntlets or clothes.
Frankenmon is a Composition Digimon. It armor-digivolved due to the “Digi-Egg of Light”. The “Digi-Egg
of Light” has the attribute of “Light”, and those that use it purify darkness. It came to life on a library
server. It has an extremely pale green skin color, lanky arms, and prominent thighs covered in simple
black jeans, and a pair of floating detached wings. It is almost always barefoot, though some will wear
abandoned Boltmon boots. Rumors state Frankenmon signifies Frankenstein’s monster going to heaven
when it dies, while humans have also claimed it collected data from another source. It carries around a
pitchfork with the tines all bent to one side, like tiny scythes, which it uses to slash at enemies rather
than stab them. It retains knowledge from the library server, which gives it lots of general information to
recall. It wears a bandana on its head given to it by a Reapmon, which appear to watch over each
Frankenmon when it first comes into being. It is known to attract data-hungry Digimon because of its
strange and varied data composition, which “smells” good to hungry Digimon. Researchers agree it is the
odd Digimon out for the Digi-Egg of Light, as it wards off evil Digimon with its presence but lacks an
active way to keep them at bay or destroy them.
Hellharemon is an Evil Digimon. A companion of Hellhoundmon, they are more vicious but often slower
than their counterparts, and thus often ignored by the most vigilant prey. It armor-digivolved due to the
“Digi-Egg of Courage”. The “Digi-Egg of Courage” has the attribute of “Flame”, and those that don this
Digi-Egg have their combat ability elevate like an erupting volcano, allowing them to perform attacks on
enemy Digimon with incredible power. Much like Gargomon sharing many physical traits of Terriermon,
Hellharemon shares many physical traits of Lopmon: its three horns, pink stripes, and collar being the
most prominent. They are considered terrifying when encountered at close distances, as victims can
rarely get away at that point. Hellharemon relies on its intelligence more than Hellhoundmon, but lacks
the tracking skills of its counterpart.
Hippomon is an Animal Digimon. Born on a website dedicated to wildlife conservation, its overall design
was inspired by a creature of formidable size and weight. It armor-digivolved through the power of the
“Digi-Egg of Reliability”. The “Digi-Egg of Reliability” has an attribute of “Water”, and those that don this
Digi-Egg demonstrate their true power underwater. Unlike other “Digi-Egg of Reliability” Armor Digimon,
Hippomon is not built for speed or depth within water but for endurance and power. Eyewitnesses have
reported Hippomon defeating Digmon in battle without relying on water – a rare feat. Despite this
strength, it tends to graze, sleep, and explore peacefully.
Lepusmon is a Mythical Animal Digimon.
Despite this, Lepusmon is optimistic the group will become famous and
respected one day. It is a friendly, protective, energetic, and ADHD-like Digimon and will often offer
creatures it saved from hostile Digimon a ride to their destination. Despite its overall appearance
resembling hares, it also possesses vague canine traits and thus has varying coat thickness and fur shape.
Its greatest weakness is said to be exercise-induced collapse due to its forgetfulness to rest.
Jacklopmon is a Mythical Animal Digimon. It armor-digivolved due to the “Digi-Egg of Light”. The
“Digi-Egg of Light” has the attribute of “Light”, and those that use it purify darkness. An urban legend
among intelligent Digimon, it is nothing more than a campfire/bedtime story. But Digimon known for
constant exploration have likely encountered one or more of these Digimon. It is said it was born on the
website that covered cryptozoology. It has the odd appearance of a quadrupedal Lopmon with antlers
that are more pronounced than its ears. As an urban legend and a crypto, it is an amalgamation of
physical traits and distinct Digimon capabilities. Hypothetical examinations of its power suggest
Jacklopmon could take on Wendigomon, but the winner might be a coin toss.
TeddyLopmon is a Puppet Digimon. It armor-digivolved due to the “Digi-Egg of Kindness”. The “Digi-Egg
of Kindness” has an unknown attribute and thus is shrouded in mystery. It resembles a teddy bear-styled
Lopmon and is known for passing itself off as a toy. It has also been mistaken for actual Lopmon more
than once due to its very similar attacks, though that’s all they appear to have in common. It uses its
stomach to store various items to treat others, though it is debatable if there is a nefarious reason for
this or if it genuinely cares. They are sometimes found around wild Digimon of low intelligence as a
source of comfort and warmth and are more than likely beside a Digi-Egg, which it might defend to the
death. Because of this, there are actual “scarecrows” of TeddyLopmon in many Digi-Egg nests to ward off
theft.
BlackFlamedramon is a Dragon Man Digimon. It armor-digivolved due to the “Digi-Egg of Courage”. The
“Digi-Egg of Courage” has the attribute of “Flame”, and those that don this Digi-Egg have their combat
ability elevate like an erupting volcano, allowing them to perform attacks on enemy Digimon with
incredible power. While it is an exact copy of Flamedramon at first glance, this version is merely the form
“Black” Digimon take with the “Digi-Egg of Courage” rather than the original counterpart. The
appearance itself changes very little, with the Digimon’s skin becoming charcoal colored, the orange
flame paint replaced with blue, and the yellow paint replaced with black. Unlike its original counterpart,
BlackFlamedramon focused more on awareness and scaring its opponents as its way of leveling the
battlefield.
IceGrowlmon is a Dark Dragon Digimon. It is called the “Stark-white Demon Dragon”. It armor-digivolved
due to the “Digi-Egg of Friendship”. The “Digi-Egg of Friendship” has the attribute of “Thunder”, and
those that use it move with speed. The childishness it had as Guilmon has vanished, and it digivolved
into a wilder and more brutal Digimon. Although it is a “Growlmon”, it is a Data Digimon, and is more
likely to appear in packs of 3 to 8 than be alone. The rule-of-thumb is that if you see one, there are at
least two more nearby. If raised by a Tamer, they are obedient and protective of their Tamer. They vary
more in personality than most Digimon species, but those variations can be summarized as sneaky,
aggressive, or patient based on their hunting styles. It is not uncommon for a pack to utilize all three
personalities in hunting their prey.
RaiGrowlmon is a Dark Dragon Digimon. It is called the “Dark-yellow Demon Dragon”. It armor-digivolved
due to the “Digi-Egg of Friendship”. The “Digi-Egg of Friendship” has the attribute of “Thunder”, and
those that use it move with speed. The childishness it had as Guilmon has vanished, and it digivolved
into a stronger and more composed Digimon. Although it is a “Growlmon”, it is a Vaccine Digimon, and is
more likely to lead a group of 3 to 5 like-minded Digimon than be alone. If raised by a Tamer, it exhibits
notable social skills and initiative on assigned tasks. It knows when it’s being deceived and enjoys long
sprints after a meal. Occasionally, the horns on its head will generate sparks between them, even when it
sleeps.
Skydramon is a Composition Digimon. It armor-digivolved due to the “Digi-Egg of Love”. The “Digi-Egg of
Love” has the attribute of “Wind”, and those that don it soar through the skies. Its chassis is reminiscent
of Reptiledramon, its wings are attributed to Coredramon (Blue) and Coredramon (Green), its legs are
clearly from a Commandramon, and its arms are possibly the claws of an Ebidramon. It has the face of
Birdramon, though its unknown if this is the base Digimon or not. While the sky is its natural habitat, it
can be seen on the ground running if a more terrifying flying Digimon is in the sky. Because of its
chimeric nature, it has learned how to take care of itself and hone its skills independently. It is said that if
two Skydramon were ever to meet, they could exchange knowledge and become far more powerful.
Fukuiraptormon is a Dinosaur Digimon. It armor-digivolved due to the “Digi-Egg of Sincerity”. The
“Digi-Egg of Sincerity” has the attribute of “Plant”, and those who use it become a part of nature. It is
known more for its stealth, hunting, observation, and rapid-fire attack skills than its appearance. It
resembles its namesake with the addition of two flexible stripes of reinforced hide protecting its neck,
shoulders, stomach, and upper thighs. The color of these stripes varies by region of where it digivolved
and is often a color that aids its ability to blend into nature. It is a ruthless Digimon known for its
exclusively melee-only attacks and tunnel vision when hunting. It is an extremely intelligent Digimon
with a memory that terrifies Digimon that hunt them for a challenging fight.
ClearAirdramon is a Puppet Digimon. It armor-digivolved due to the “Digi-Egg of Love”. The “Digi-Egg of
Love” has the attribute of “Wind”, and those that don it soar through the skies. It is known for its huge
wings and is often said to be close to the toy-equivalent of God. While it lacks the weather manipulation
of a normal Airdramon, it is less independent and fragile as well. Its durability results in it dealing
impressively powerful physical attacks. Scholars are unsure if ClearAgumon can digivolve into
ClearAirdramon naturally or not, – due to their uncanny resemblance of toy bricks – though the rarity of
the Digimon supports the likelihood that the “Digi-Egg of Love” is always necessary.
ToyDrimogemon is a Puppet Digimon. It armor-digivolved due to the “Digi-Egg of Knowledge”. The
“Digi-Egg of Knowledge has the attribute of “Earth” and thus gives those using it dominance in
underground combat. It is a unique Digimon whose appearance resembles a pull-string Drimogemon
action figure. Its massive size is the most obvious indicator that it is a Digimon and not a toy. Legend says
that its data may have come from an alternate universe – a universe where a toy company actually made
and sold a smaller, non-living version. It has a mischievous personality and likes to hide the valuables of
other Digimon that are already hidden underground. The general consensus is that this Digimon is based
on NiseDrimogemon rather than the original, based on its color scheme, however it lacks the iconic
moustache whiskers. It is also a fidgety Digimon, so unlike may constructs that could act like inanimate
objects, it can’t stay still long enough to do so.
Bucchiemon (Black) is a Pixie Digimon. It armor-digivolved due to the “Digi-Egg of Kindness”. Owning a
whimsical personality and a dry wit, it loves to have its head stroked and to playfully insult others and
can be found singing or humming songs when in a good mood. However, it hates having its tail touched,
and it will fall into a foul mood and refuse to listen to you if you keep trying. Its power isn’t strong, but it
has the strange ability to becalm others, including its enemies. As the rarest known color of Bucchiemon,
there are very few in existence and is said to be more exotic than Bucchiemon (Green). It is said that this
particular Bucchiemon develops a resistance to enemy attacks, and each Bucchiemon (Black) may be
resistant to a different type of attack.
L-Cyclonemon is a Dragon Digimon. It is a one-eyed Digimon with an abnormally developed left arm. It
was originally a stalwart dragon warrior, but its left eye was crushed by an Ogremon, and it became an
oni of revenge. It is largely mistaken for Cyclonemon, and many of its victims stayed on its left side
believing it was a strategic location. They are believed to be extremely rare, and studies indicate that
Ogremon are more likely to destroy the warrior after crushing its eye than let it live. Its most
distinguishing feature is its green eyes, though using this to disguish Cyclonemon from L-Cyclonemon can
be a lethal decision.
ManananggalMyotismon is an Undead Digimon. One of the most obscure Nightmare Soldier Digimon,
this Digimon invokes terror to those who encounter it with no knowledge of its existence. It originated
from a server dedicated to horror media. ManananggalMyotismon resembles the top half of
VenomMyotismon with shorter arms and a slightly longer neck. It preys on Digimon and, more recently,
human couples while they sleep. There are numerous theories pertaining to ManananggalMyotismon’s
lower half, as well theories of its previous form before digivolving. While it is part of the
Myotismon-species, it does not appear to digivolve into or from any other Myotismon. One legend
claims that hundreds of Leomon have been slain by ManananggalMyotismon and these Leomon all died
protecting sleeping Digimon. It is currently theorized that only one ManananggalMyotismon exists at a
time and that its data finds the closest Champion Digimon in personality to carry on its instincts.
MediumRaremon is a Ghost Digimon. Unlike Raremon, MediumRaremon look more like uncooked meat
with mechanized parts. They are known to be weaker than Raremon and like to hide on meat-packing
computers. Coincidentally, Raremon and MediumRaremon are openly hostile to each other. As Raremon
tend to defeat MediumRaremon in every confrontation, MediumRaremon are considered one of the
rarest forms of Raremon in existence.
SkullWendigomon is an Undead Digimon. It was a Wendigomon sent to the Dark Ocean for an
undisclosed amount of time. Its skeletal frame has been enlarged and elongated, giving it more of a
gorilla frame with exaggerated forearms. Being made of nothing but bones, it continues to battle
because the DigiCore within its chest is undamaged. Now undead, SkullWendigomon’s preferred enemy
of choice is Ghost Digimon, although it will still start fights with Vaccine types out of boredom or
annoyance. It can still warp by passing through other dimensions, but it prefers to menacingly stroll
towards desperate and terrified prey when the battle is one-sided. If a SkullWendigomon is destroyed,
sometimes two or three Wendigomon will constitute themselves out of its code if a Digimon does not
absorb the data fast enough. Witnesses regrettably note that SkullWendigomon appears to play with its
prey if there’s lots of screaming involved.
