Welcome to High Risk Obstetric Summit 2022.
The Maternal Fetal Medicine Unit of Hospital Sultanah Bahi-
yah, Alor Setar would like to take pleasure in inviting you to
participate in High Risk Obstetric Summit 2022 for 2 days
from 29th October 2022 until 30th October 2022.
A very warm welcome to all our remarkable participants, from whole over Malaysia
for our second High Risk Obstetric Summit 2022 in Alor Setar. We bring to you this
High Risk Obstetric Summit with a theme of “Bridging Primary & Tertiary Care”. This
will not only be a platform for discussions and updates on common maternal and fe-
tal conditions, but also an opportunity to build a good networking between primary
and tertiary care to make sure an optimal care to patients.
The organizing committee has prepared an impactful program with distinguished
speakers in their expertise to bring the latest updates and also interactive session . I
hope that all of you will feel enriched with knowledge after completion of this event .

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.
Assalamualaikum wbt and very good day everyone.
Very warm welcome I bit to all the awesome participants, from
whole over Malaysia for our second High Risk Obstetric Summit
2022 in Alor Setar.
Managing pregnancy with medical illnesses is very crucial and challenging task. It really
needs holistic approach and multidisciplinary team management. In order to reduce the
maternal morbidity and mortality due to maternal diseases complications,we as medical
practitioners need to equip ourselves with adequate knowledge and critical thinking in
managing such complicated cases.
This year HiROS 2022 presented to you 2 days courses full of various lectures from differ-
ent subspecialty in medical field . In conjunction with the theme this year, bridging primary
team and tertiary care, we hope to holistically managing common medical illnesses in preg-
nancy from primary care setting itself. Good teamwork and communication between pri-
mary and tertiary care will give optimal care to patients.
I would like to extend my highly appreciation to my committee members with their endless
commitment to this event, without them, this event will be not successful .Greatest thanks
