The current enterprise Jugprom d.o.o. Leskovac started its business as private auto-transport company, as far
back as in 1984, whose founder and owner is Mr. Slobodan Stojanović, dealing with transport, organiza on of


buying up and coopera on with manufacturers of fresh fruit in the field. A er its founding, the ac vity of the

enterprise has been widening each year and in 1992 the enterprise was given the present name and started

with primary produc on, processing and selling fresh and frozen fruit, thus making the basic ac vity of the

enterprise. Permanent rise of the enterprise gave result in 2005 by buying the cold storage plant in Leskovac

with full equipment for fruit and vegetables freezing, capacity of 18.000 tons of simultaneous storing, which


gives clear image of constant rise of the enterprise. The enterprise Jugprom d.o.o. Leskovac has been buying



up and processing for several years backwards from 22.000 tons of various fruit, enabling so the export from

17.000 tons of finished frozen products in the markets of the European Union, the Russian Federa on and

beyond at the same me providing the foreign currency inflow up to € 20.000.000. The above data make the

enterprise Jugprom d.o.o. Leskovac one of the most successful ones in Serbia with con nual aim to remain a

reliable manufacturer and exporter of frozen products, meet the requirements. The enterprise has been

organized as d.o.o. (company with limited liability) 100% of private capital and 125 full- me employees. During

the season of buying up and processing of fresh fruit and vegetables, the enterprise employs the addi onal


200 and more seasonal workers. The enterprise Jugprom d.o.o. Leskovac disposes of its own motor pool,

consis ng of 6 trucks of 25 t capacity and a refrigerator lorry. This enables undisturbed transport during both

buying up from the manufacturers to cold storage plant and transport of finished product to end users all over

Europe. The enterprise employs the workers of all necessary professions with long-year experience in this

business that is a guarantee for top quality of frozen products; therefore, the policy of the enterprise is to
recognize the needs of its users and adapt the product to their requests in a fast and efficacious way, taking

both in the country and wider region, which can be achieved by permanent moderniza on of equipment and

accomplishment of the employees, as well as strengthening the links between the suppliers and users, thereby

taking care of compliance of the highest standards for the products we are offering. In the chain of food

produc on and transport ‘’Jugprom’’ d.o.o. uses adequate integrated management quality system and HACCP




system and process the fruit and vegetables in its sec ons. The process start with purchasing, receiving




purchased goods and their tocking and finish with transport and delivery of final products and monitoring


concerning products expiry dates. The company has got the refrigerated warehouse with the stocking capacity


of cca. 12.000 tonnes (only Jugprom d.o.o.) of frozen fruit and pepper. Processing hall is eqipped with

tecnological lines for processing pomefruits, berrylike fruit and fruit with pints as well as with pepper line. All

technical opera ns are appliedin the processing itself: washing ( hard and fine ), inspec on, calibra on,

removing pints, con nuous freezing, camera sor ng system, machine packaging of larger and smaller
eight,metal detec on as well as stocking ll the moment of delivery. In the hall for packing the frozen product
is processed and packed under controlled emperature regime from +/- 0 °C to + 5 °C, and packed final

products are kept in chambers at the temperature of – 22 °C.

The company ‘’JUGPROM’’ d.o.o has got 60 ourchase places in Serbia, not only in low but
also in high mountain regions, where raw materials are transported by the company’s vechicles
and then processed in its section.
Jugprom d.o.o also has got its own plantation of sour cherry ‘’OBLAČINSKA’’ cca. 50 Ha which is
cultivated, maintained and treated in a highly controlled way.

Beside qualied purchase workers at purchase places, Jugprom d.o.o. constantly send its people (experts on plants protection)
to the eld where they control the use of chemical substances, purchased by Jugprom in accordance with EU standards
and given to Jugprom's customers as a kind of advance payment.
Thanks to this type of organization Jugprom is fully in chage of the situation on the eld in terms of soil cultivation,
fruit protection, complete return and the quality of raw materials itself.

Brandy is a strong alcoholic drink.
Is obtained by a single or double distillation mass which is obtained by alcoholic fermentation
of fruits, rye, potato and the like. In the case where the spirit of fruit which has a lower percentage of
sugar, such as apples, distillation is carried out multiple mass in order to obtain the desired
concentration and purity of the alcohol beverage. Jabukova mass mainly distilled three times, and such
a process is obtained rakija strength of 45 ° (percent alcohol). After the rst distillation is
obtained by the so-called. "soft" brandy with a lower percentage of alcohol, a re-distillation "soft"
brandy is obtained "brandy".
In Bulgaria, discovered a part of the cauldron for brandy from the 11th century.
