SITE MANAGERS WIN PRESTIGIOUS AWARD
Four Bovis Homes Site Managers have been selected from over Carl Noble Steve Jones
16,000 others across the country to win one of the house building Stuart Beesley Adam Elvin
industry’s most prestigious awards.
Carl Noble, Steve Jones, Stuart Beesley and Adam Elvin have
all won Quality accolades in the National House Building Council
(NHBC) Pride in the Job Awards.
The award recognises the dedication of site managers and their
teams who achieve the highest standards in house building.
To win the award, the developments and the site managers have
to be judged by NHBC specialists, with every stage of the build
inspected ensuring meticulous and consistent attention to detail.
Site managers must also demonstrate excellent leadership, technical
expertise and robust health and safety processes.
Carl and Steve won their awards for their work at two Cheshire
sites. Carl leads the Forest Edge Build team in Cuddington, while
Steve operates at Loachbrook Meadow in Congleton. Stuart
and his team won the award for King’s Reach in Ottery St Mary,
Devon and Adam Elvin impressed at Phillips Lea in Kemble,
Gloucestershire.
Bovis Homes Chief Executive, David Ritchie said: “It is a
tremendous effort by all four of them and their teams, and they
can justifiably feel very proud of their achievements.”
Adam started working at Bovis Homes as an apprentice just six
years ago, before going on to become as assistant site manager.
Not long after this, he was promoted to site manager and for
Adam, the award is the icing on the cake!
“The team here have worked really hard, and we were hoping
we might win, but it’s not an easy award to get so I wasn’t really
expecting it. I was over the moon when I found out!”
