Technical Oral Examination intended for the applicants for the Local Government Operations Officer Accomplishments Review (S.O.A.R.) for the finance, administrative, newly-hired

The Department of the Interior and Local Government Region III convened the Central Luzon –
Regional Poverty Reduction Action Team (CL-RPRAT) 1st Quarter meeting on March 30, 2017 at
Bliss Hotel, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
The activity aims to evaluate the over-all performance of CL-RPRAT in the implementation and
completion of the BuB Projects for F.Y. 2014, 2015, and 2016 and to formulate feasible resolutions to
issues and concerns raised during project monitoring. As of March 15, 2017 Central Luzon has
delivery rates of 97%, 78% and 40% for fiscal years 2014, 2015 and 2016, respectively.
Furthermore, the Provincial Stakeholders Forum and the Policy Guidelines and Procedures in
the implementation of Assistance to Disadvantaged Municipalities (ADM) Program for F.Y. 2017 were
also discussed in the said event.

undergoes 5-Day Initial Phase Capacity Building for the
Regional establishment of ISO 9001:2015 Quality
Management System (QMS) on February 20—24, 2017.
The activity is headed by the DILG Central
Office Team composed of the DILG Central Office
QMS Secretariat and Internal Quality Audit Team.
As one among the pilot regions for the QMS,
DILG R3’s officers and concerned personnel partici-
pated in the said activity with the support and

Among the objectives of the activity is to enable
participants to understand the principles, concepts,
requirements and documentation requirements of
ISO 9001:2015. It also aims to provide understanding
on the requirements for setting quality objectives and
monitoring, measuring and evaluating performance.

To further promote its Local Governance Regional Resource
Center (LGRRC), DILG Region 3 conducted a one-day LGRRC
Orientation on March 7, 2017 at Maharajah Hotel, Angeles City.
The said activity was participated in by DILG R3 personnel,
partner national government agencies (NGAs), local resource
contributors and civil society/ private organizations.
The LGRRC is the DILG’s response to the growing demand
for knowledge management in the area of local governance. As a
local governance learning center, the LGRRC serves as a venue for
