been an absolutely fantastic year, and we have
so much more in store for 2023. We can't thank

RIVER RUN COUNTRY CLUB

THE RUNDOWN | JANUARY 2 - JANUARY 8

GOLF COURSE:

Holes 4, 5, & 6 are currently underway - The tees on hole 6 are completely sodded,
and sodding on hole 5 has begun! This month has been extremely wet and restricted
consistent work on the irrigation project. Irrigation on hole #4 is nearly ready for
testing. While we are a few days behind at the time, crews are working weekends and
bringing in equipment to ensure we stay on schedule in the big picture.

GREYTON LANE:

Slide materials have been delivered! Installation is expected to begin in January once
the permitting process is complete.

POOLHOUSE BATHROOM:

Construction documents are complete! The plans have been sent to several
contractors for bidding, and we are awaiting proposals. Plans have received the
necessary permits from Mecklenburg County.

PICKLEBALL & PARKING:

We are continuing to work on the best design given the need for parking, pickleball,
and easy access to the area. We will keep the Members updated on the plan as it
progresses.

The Wildcat will be closed Sunday, January 1 - Monday, January 9
for a Deep Cleaning and Staff Training Closure Week. Please visit

us at Slice Cafe for an alternative delicious dining option!
Slice Cafe will be closed Tuesday, January 10 - Sunday, January 15.

DURING THE WINTER, THE MAINTENANCE

STAFF WILL ANALYZE THE GREENS EACH
MORNING TO DETERMINE THE BEST

LOCATION FOR THE PIN. THE PINS WILL
NOT BE PLACED IN THE TRADITIONAL "1, 2,
3, OR 4" POSITIONS THROUGH THE WINTER

HITTING MATS ON THE RANGE
FOR THE COLDER SEASON, WHILE IT IS MORE
DIFFICULT TO MAINTAIN AND REGROW TURF,
THE PRACTICE FACILITY WILL USE MAT TEES
FOR MEMBERS TO HIT OFF OF.

This new clinic will run like a WIC practice brush up on their strokes!
