1.0 Commencement of the Meeting

2.1 Pastor presented his weekly ministries.
2.2 Pastor will focus on the 6 main ministries in church which is preaching, teaching, prayer, caring,
counselling and prayer & leadership ministries.
2.3 Pastor gave thanks to the Lord and appreciate all leaders for their help and support.

3.0 Lay Leader’s Planning
3.1 Mr. Gilbert presented his planning report.
3.2 To conduct online Bible Study, attend all meetings/ programmes by all agencies and prayer.
3.3 To continue studies in STM.
3.4 Appreciate pastor and LCEC members for their support and encouragement.

4.0 Church School Planning
4.1 Mrs. Susana presented her planning report.
4.2 Church School will continue with online classes and online programs and will only resume to
physical classes once situation is safe.
4.3 All the respective church school (Skudai, Kulai & Gelang Patah) will have their own online classes
twice a month.
4.4 Special day program (Father’s Day, Mother’s Day, Merdeka & etc), house visitation during
Christmas season to distribute gifts.

4.5 Children’s Celebration Day, Children’s Outing, VBS 2021 and Christmas Party are programs to be
held once physical class resumed.

5.0 Methodist Women Planning
5.1 Mrs. Mercy submitted the planning for MW.
5.2 To have Prayer at 3pm everyday through WhatsApp group, Testimony Time monthly once,
Memory Verse through online and helping needy people.

6.0 Methodist Young Adult Fellowship Planning
6.1 Mr. Joe presented his planning report.
6.2 To have house visiting and prayer monthly once, to organise 3 hours Non-Stop Worship & Prayer,
observe MYAF Sunday, to organise Couple’s Day 4.0 and BBQ Fellowship.

7.0 Methodist Youth Fellowship Planning
7.1 Mr. Yashidaran presented his planning for one year.
7.2 Youths will meet up twice in a month through online.
7.3 Plans to have outdoor activity after church reopening.

8.0 Methodist Senior Fellowship Planning
8.1 Mr. Lourdinathan presented his planning report.
8.2 To have Weekly Online Bible Sharing in April, to observe MSF Week and MSF Sunday and to
join MSF Camp in October.

9.0 Evangelism & Membership Planning
9.1 Rev. Samuel presented his planning report.
9.2 4 people participated the Online Prayer United Conference in the month of January, 10 people
participated the Online Prayer for the Nations (CICLM) on 28/01 and MW are praying daily in
their WhatsApp Prayer Group.
9.3 We have our ONLINE STAND IN THE GAP FOR THE NATION PRAYER SESSION daily from
8.00 – 8.30pm.
9.4 Plan to start Morning Prayer Watch from March – Every Saturday 6.00 – 7.00am.
9.5 Encourage all members to do personal evangelism regularly.

10.0 Missions Planning
10.1 Mrs. Suba presented her plans.
10.2 To teach English and conduct Church School among orang asal at
Kampung Arang monthly twice, to participate in GOH Project, observe Mission Week And
Mission Sunday, to initiate Shoebox Project, to involve youths in GO Mission 2021 and to have
Children Party at Kg.Arang.

11.0 Social Concerns Planning
11.1 Mr. Manogaran presented his plans.
11.2 To buy provisions for needy families, to be part of MW Food Bank
Project and to buy school uniforms for students in need.

12.0 Christian Education Planning
12.1 REV. Samuel presented the planning report on behalf of
Mrs. Melissa.
12.2 To observe Christian Family Week, distribute Lent Meditation Book
and Bible Quiz to members.
12.3 To encourage church members to join in prayers.

13.0 Music & Worship Planning
13.1 Mr. Gunalan presented his planning report.
13.2 To train more worship leaders, choirs and musicians.
13.3 Assist pastor in arranging worship enablers for worship services
and online services.

14.0 Property Planning
14.1 REV. Samuel presented the plans on behalf of Mr. Anbalan.
14.2 Painting project and renovation for main church, old and new van
maintenance, parsonage maintenance, Kulai & GP building maintenance and multimedia
upgrade.

15.0 Finance Report
15.1 Mr. Andrew submitted the finance report for the year 2020.
15.2 Budget for the year 2021 was presented by Mrs. Thiruselvi
Thomson.

16.0 AOB

16.1 The LCEC decided to close down Kangkar Pulai Ministry as it is not
active due to Movement Control Order (MCO). However, DS
advised to hold the decision and reconsider of how to remain
active as it was started with a vision.

16.2 Mrs. Cassendra presented a list of names for membership removal
who left the church without official letter or notice. DS advised to
contact them again and ask for their official letter and present the
list again at 2nd Local Conference 2021.

1.KEY AREAS OF PASTORAL MINISTRY
1.1 PREACHING MINISTRY
Purpose: To lead every member to Look to the LORD through
Worship/Word/Prayer/Fasting/Counsel.
Plan 1: To preach on sermon focusing on the theme of the Church – Building our relationship with
God and one another.
Plan 2: To mobilize and train Local Preachers to grow in preaching ministry.
Plan 3: To invite speakers who will minister according to the theme and the need of the church.
Plan 4: To use the tools God has given us to reach the world – Facebook/TMCJBYoutube/WhatsApp

2.2 TEACHING MINISTRY
Purpose: To increase our knowledge on the word of God.
Plan 1: Daily Prayer Sessions /Lent Season / and Short Term Study - Topic

(Will be focusing on the Epistles of Ephesians, Philippians and Colossians.)
Plan 2: To invite speakers who are able to teach on specific topics.

At present we are doing a Bible Study Series focusing on Genesis 6,7,8
Topic: “NOAH’S FAMILY”

2.3 PRAYER MINISTRY
Purpose:
a. To pray and intercede as a church for families, God’s Servants, Ministries, Needy, Sick and other needs.
b. To raise up 50 Prayer Warriors this year
c. To mobilize the whole church to pray for one another
Plan 1 : Wednesday – Kulai / JB & Friday - GP
Plan 2: Online Prayer Sessions / Online Prayer Groups / Online District Prayer / Online TAC Prayer Camp
Plan 3: Raise up / train and mobilize members to become Prayer Warriors
Plan 4: Communicate Prayer Points through Watsapp and Media tools.

We want thank all our prayer warriors who faithfully joined in all our prayer sessions. We also want to
thank the Women’s Prayer group who prays regularly.
2.4 CARING MINISTRY
Purpose: To care, comfort, encourage for every member of our church to live for God

Plan 1: Weekly visitation to our members houses
Plan 2: Leaders visitation to our members houses
Plan 3: Visiting and Praying for members who are admitted at hospitals
At present we are doing foodbank ministry – four the past 4 months we have met many people in
JB,Kulai,Senai and Skudai Area. While giving out provisions, we also have given out Gideons New
Testament to many of them.

I want to thank Mr. Raman, Mr. Souriappan, Mr. Lourdinathan, Mr. Timothy, Mr. Benjamin. Mr.
Solomon, Mrs. Flora, Mr. Genggatharan, Mr. Anbalan and Mr. Immanuel in helping to distribute food
items.

2.5 COUNSELING AND PRAYER
Purpose: a. To guide and help members to overcome difficult situations.

b.To spend time ministering and praying for those with needs.

Plan 1: Office time: 10.00am – 1.00pm

Plan 2 : Office Prayer Time / Prayer / Counseling
• We have our regular prayer time in the office praying for church families and ministries.
• We have members and visitors comes regularly comes for prayer

At present I am communicating with our members regularly through WhatsApp due to MCO.

2.6 LEADERSHIP
• Purpose : To guide , lead and work closely with all leaders in fulfilling God’s Purpose,Vision and Plan for
our church.
Plan 1: LCEC Meetings : Teaching on Leadership
Plan 2: Spending time with every leader. – to identify and help to grow in passion

and burden for ministry of the Lord
Plan 3: To build strong relationship with one another

I want to thank all our leaders for their faithful service to the Lord.

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ, Praise God I able to serve Him throughout this year. Below are my
ministries which was done.

1. This year most church services done by online due to Covid-19 pandemic and follow up by watching
sermon done by pastor.

2. I attend all agencies meetings and programs organized by President.
3. I be preaching on Friday services and whenever Pastor gave the opportunity to do so.
4. This year continuing my studies in STM in July and Sept online

Classes which I benefited much.

This year also due to Pandemics we unable to gather in Church as per normal and this has affected much in
ministry especially in finance but hope and praying it will end soon and back to normal life.
I will like thank Pastor Samuel Periatamby and all LCEC members for their continues support, guidance and
prayers.

CHURCH SCHOOL MINISTRY REPORT

Praise the Lord. By the grace of God, the Church School has been going on online for the past 1 1/2 year. The
classes is conducted twice a month and I praise God for all the support given by our dear Pastor, church school
teachers and also the parents. Below are the programs of the Church School Zoom class from Jan-June 2021.
1. Early this year, we have created a Church School Whatsapp Group. This group is mainly used for the children
to post all their church school activities such as memory verse video, art & craft pictures, assignments and etc.

2. Special Online lesson from Jan-June is as below:-
i) Palm Sunday lesson by Mrs. Alice Richard
ii) Easter Sunday lesson by Mrs. Melissa Thevadass
iii) Jesus calms the Storm By Mr. Gilbert Jesudass
iv) Mother’s Day lesson by Mrs. Suba Devan

vi) Father’s Day lesson by Mr. Thayalan (Kulai Outreach)

3. Our online church school classes are also attended by children from other churches and our TMCJB members
who have shifted to other places will also join our classes without fail.
All this has given us the encouragement as teachers to give the best for our church school children.

2.1 Online Prayer Time
From Monday to Friday the women meet for prayer at 3.00pm. Monthly once they also had a time of testimony.

2.2 MW Day of Fasting and Prayer was observed on 13/01/2021. About 6 women participated.

2.3 Foodbank Ministry
Every month the women help needy families with provisions. (Church families and others)

2.4 Online MW Worship Service was observed on 25/06/2021. Mrs. Mercy Rozario shared the word of God.

2.5 Online Church Prayer
Many of our women faithfully attended the church prayer every week.

2.6 Online Christian Home and Family week was observed in the month of June for five days. About 7 women
attended. Mrs. Mages helped in conducting the meetings.

2.7 Few of our women personally helped needy families during the MCO.

CONCLUSION

• MSF members join all church prayers and Bible study.
• We joined Southern District MSF Prayer on 1st July 2021.

• We are going to observe MSF week on 20th - 25th Sept 2021.
• MSF Sunday on 26th Sept 2021.
• We are plan to having MSF prayer every week on Sunday 5pm. (after discuss with Pastor to be confirm) Once

Ministry report
1. 4 people participated the Online Prayer United Conference in the month of January.
2. 10 people participated the Online Prayer for the Nations (CICLM) on 28/01.
3. MW are daily praying in their WhatsApp Prayer Group.
4. We have our ONLINE STAND IN THE GAP FOR THE NATION PRAYER SESSION daily from 8.00 –
8.30pm. At present we have 2 times in a week.
5. PERSONAL EVANGELISM
- We encourage all our members to do personal evangelism regularly.
- We have given out 5 Gideon New Testament Bible to every family of our church. This to distribute to friends,
neighbours and family members.

MISSION MINISTRY REPORT

ACTIVITY

1. KAMPUNG ARANG MINISTRY

• During the pandemic, we visited Kampung Arang once and gave some useful things to them.
• We are going to provide 30 bags of provision for 30 families at the month of August.
2. Gift Of Hope Project

• We adopted a total of 31 children this year. Thanks to all donors.
3. Mission Month

• We had Online Mission Prayers on 10th and 24th August at 7.50 to 8.50pm.
• We invited REV. Sharon Thangarajoo on 13th August to share the word of GOD through Zoom.

Greeting in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. First of all, I want to thank the Lord for the opportunity given to
continue serve Him and the church. Secondly, Rev.Samuel Periatamby for his guidance and encouragement, LCEC
members and my family for their support.

This year, we had a major programme which was Worship Seminar for all 3 congregation on 25th April 2021
conducted by myself and pastor. About 29 participants joined through Zoom online.

The worship team also assist pastor to lead worship in Friday online services.

Again I would like to thank everyone who have given their full support and cooperation in the midst of this
pandemic season.

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. This year, we have done some maintenance job and repair in church
and parsonage.

1. Air-con repair, service and installation at Gelang Patah Outreach.
2. Roof leakage at parsonage fixed.
3. Both new and old van road tax + insurance renewed
4. CCTV power supply at Skudai replaced.
5. Purchase of plastic ladder for baptism pool in Kulai Outreach, cordless microphone and pc monitor screen

for Skudai.
6. All the things from Kangkar Pulai Building shifted to GP church.
7. Replacement of battery for new van.

Due to this pandemic –Covid 19 church need to be closed again until for further notice. We encourage members to
do online transfer for their offerings and tithes. Some of our people are still faithful and generous in giving their
Tithes and Offering for the Kingdom of God. This is fact & figure pertaining some of the areas which need to be
highlighted for the glory of GOD.

2.1 According to the comparison year 2020 & 2021 for the tithes and Offering it has
been decreased RM 22,421.46

3. POSITIVE ASPECTS

3.1 Even we going through this hard time due this pandemic but still God help us
financially to fully settle out the soft loan donor for Kulai Building total amount of
RM 56,500.00. Members are glad to receive this money since it was really helpful
for those was jobless for few months.

3.2 TAC Commitment Fund for 2019-Total Outstanding = RM 12,757.90

Paid = RM 5000.00

Balance = RM 7,757.90

*Remarks: Plan to settle by end of December 2021*

4. SUGGESTIONS

4.1 In coming year church might face new financial challenges ahead to meet our
needs so all the agencies and members to work together to improve our
Finance to a better level.

I seek guidance from Holy Spirit to lead us to be more prudence in spending. Lastly I would thank our Church Pastor,
Lay Leader and Treasurer who been working as a team to "Build His Kingdom".
