services include drafting blueprints, identifying system requirements, shopping for and ordering
the equipment you need at wholesale prices, and certifying the completed installation per NFPA
guidelines.
Dental Gas Installer Requirements:

Per NFPA guidelines, dental gas installations must be performed by ASSE 6010 Medical Gas
Installers, and ASME IX Brazers if copper pipe is involved

Dental Air and Vacuum System
Maintenance

Belt Inspections – Scroll compressor belts wear out over time and it is suggested to replace
them annually to ensure there are no unexpected tears during regular use. Belts should, however,
be checked for this wear on a quarterly basis. Ensuring proper tension is the best way to avoid
fraying and belt wear over time.

Analyzing Alarm Readings – Alarm readings will tell whether or not there are temperature issues
with the pump, in these cases bearings, O-rings, and seals will be replaced.

Overload – Check the conditions of overload on both vacuum pumps and compressors by
checking amp readings once a quarter. Proper function of overloads is also tested by manually
tripping the overloads.

Valves – Poppet valves, plate valves, and ring valves should be replaced annually
Oil Compressors – Oil-flooded compressors need to have oil changed every 6 months at least,
depending on use.
