Stangl Pottery traces its origins to Hill Pottery, established Fulper, took over the company and began
by Samuel Hill in 1814 in Flemington, New Jersey. Using experimenting with vogue and art pottery, which
Flemington’s red earthenware clay, Hill produced utilitarian were both highly sought after by late-Victorian Era housewives.

For over 40 years, Fulper Pottery continued Samuel Hill’s Fulper’s earliest art pottery consisted of simple, shaped wares decorated with
line of ceramic ware, producing utilitarian stoneware, but, crystalline glazes. Fulper marketed this early art pottery under the trade name Vasekraft,
circa 1900, William H. Fulper II, grandson of Abram referring to vases made in a “craft” tradition.

The Beach Bazaar is located at 3115 Beach Blvd. S. in the heart of historic downtown Gulfport, FL.

The building was built in 1952 as the original Gulfport US Post Office, the retail section was added

store itself has had many uses, originally a Five & Dime, it morphed into an antique mall in 1985. 

The Bazaar currently has over 25 vendors, selling everything from vintage decor, re-purposed
furniture, antiques and collectibles, up-cycled items, clothing, jewelry, retro items and more! 

The current owners have incorporated their prior business, “Repurposed”, offering custom furniture
painting to accommodate the continuing popularity of the distressed, coastal look. For more information

The Collection of Countess To Be Sold at Auction

Sarasota Estate Auction has secured an important collection of a Countess from Monte Carlo,
now residing in Naples, Florida, which will be sold at auction Saturday, March 26 and April 30.

The collection includes a sterling tea service commissioned by King Charles I of Portugal,
which sold later for 160,000 francs, the equivalent of $25,000 at the time.

Other pieces include a notable collection of fine sculpture and glass by René Jules Lalique,
whose rare signatures are highly sought after; framed French hand-painted mother of pearl fans;
and a pair of French bronze candelabra signed by Henri Piccard in the last quarter of the 19th
Century.

The live/online public auction will be held 12-4 p.m. at 6030 N. Lockwood Ridge Road, Sarasota.
Beer, wine and refreshments will be served. A buyer’s premium applies. Preview Monday-Friday
