must complete all assigned work during class time. Students will be assigned a specific textbook
(textbooks will be numbered on the spines of the books) for use only during class. Due to the
exorbitant price of textbooks, students are asked not to take a textbook from the classroom
without the written consent of the teacher. The teacher will issue textbooks to the assigned
student at the beginning of each class and will collect them at the end of class. In the event that a
student does not turn in a textbook and/or it is damaged, that student will be responsible for
damages or the replacement cost of the missing textbook. Students and parents will sign a
textbook responsibility form and the teacher will keep it on file. Additionally, students may have
the appropriate disciplinary action taken against him/her as a result of the damaged and/or lost
textbook.
