An overview of Alpha Omicron Pi's brand launch and communication pieces.

A BRAND NEW

In partnership with Rhyme & Reason Design, Alpha Omicron Pi completely overhauled our
previous brand and overall image with the completion of the project and launch of the new
brand in June 2017. This packet provides a look into the immediate brand launch and how
AOII communicated the new materials available to our membership.
In addition to this booklet, pieces used to communicate our new brand include the 2017
Convention program booklet, 2015-2017 Biennial Report, 2017 Collegiate Chapter Spotlight
and To Dragma which was rebranded for the 2017 Summer issue release. These materials
can be found on the Anyflip bookself for AOII’s award submission.

ALPHA OMICRON PI EVENT BRANDING

Upon arriving at
AOII’s 2017 Interna-
tional Convention,
and before the brand
launch, attendees
were asked to
complete a postcard
with their name.
Each card symbol-
ized our new tagline
through synonyms
and members picked
which words most
reflected them. All
cards were put on
a velcro board and
kept throughout the
event to show that
each member was a
part of our organiza-
tion and part of our
brand identity.
During the brand
launch, AOII staff
members were busy
flipping old materials
to new materials,
while hotel staff
members were busy
branding the lobby
of the hotel to AOII’s
new look. When
members left the
brand launch ses-
sion, the hotel was
transformed.

“SWAG” AND MERCHANDISE

Each Convention, AOII offers attendees the option to purchase a shirt. This
year, however, all attendees were given a branded shirt.

Swell Bottles were offered to Branded tassels and brace-
Convention attendees in ad- lets were given away at
vance of the event. Tthey were meals to continue showing
marketed as a Convention members how the brand
branded Swell Bottle. can, and should, be incor-
porated into various mate-
rials and merchandise they
may be interested in.
