A O I I conquers clutter, too. Organizing and displaying papers and paraphernalia is an essentia]
part o f maintaining the A O I I archives. O n the main floor o f AOII's International Headquarters
resides the Archives Museum. Five o f the six display cases i n the museum currently feature the
Founders, historical jewelry, 7<> Dragma, conferences, and the A O I I Foundation. Photo on right:
The sixth case i n the museum highlights collegiate and alumnae chapter centennials. This past
year, Sigma Chapter ( U o f California, Berkeley) marked that milestone and the case currently
honors their remarkable history. The display w i l l be transformed this spring to salute Gamma
( U o f Maine), Delta (Tufts U ) , and Epsilon (Cornell U) Chapters who all celebrate centennials
in 2008. Photo above: Take the elevator down one floor and you w i l l enter the storage area for the
fraternity's history - the Heritage Center. Archival preservation is an on-going process for A O I I as
we sort, purge, group, record and maintain the historical records of the fraternity and our chapters
in hundreds of boxes, such as the ones shown above.
