Fraternity grants inspired sisters through immersive experiences like Camp AOII and Leadership Academy—while also supporting dynamic speakers at Convention, Alumnae Leadership Conference, and Volunteer Summit and expanding access to on-demand learning through Fulfilling the Promise. Through hundreds of chapter visits ELCs provided hands-on guidance, mentorship, and training to thousands of collegiate members across North America. The Educational Leadership Consultant (ELC) Program Behind every strong chapter is a network of sisters dedicated to growth—and at the heart of that support are our Educational Leadership Consultants (ELCs). These dynamic young alumnae travel to chapters across North America, offering guidance, encouragement, and leadership development. Their impact is felt in countless ways, from strengthening officer teams to inspiring members to pursue their goals with confidence. Through donor support, the AOII Foundation makes this lifechanging program possible.Amplify Sorority Research CampaignSorority life changes lives—but until recently, little research captured the true depth of that impact. The Amplify Sorority Research Campaign is helping to change that narrative. This national effort gathers powerful data about the experiences of women in sororities, providing proof of what we already know: the bonds, leadership, and opportunities within our sisterhood create lasting value. AOII is a proud supporter of this research; our donors ensure that AOII and the entire fraternal community can tell our story with clarity, credibility, and pride.ArchivesThrough the generosity of our donors, the AOII Archives Museum grant ensured that our history and legacy are preserved for generations to come. This year’s grant supported a visit from the International Historian, funded the purchase of fireproof cabinets and other preservation materials to safeguard priceless artifacts, and renewed our HistoryIT museum software to maintain a digital record of AOII’s story. Our scholarship recipients are bright, ambitious, and high-achieving women pursuing careers in fields such as cosmetic chemistry, aviation management, speech language pathology, marine biology and more.Through this support, the AOII Foundation helps sisters turn their educational and professional dreams into reality. Thank you to the AOII Foundation for awarding me the Muriel T. McKinney scholarship. I am honored to be recognized by the foundation for this achievement, and to carry on the legacy of Muriel and her dedication to AOII's core values. Muriel T. McKinney was a woman who truly lived our ritual every day of her life, and always looked for how she could give back to others. Because of her charity and generosity, the AOII Foundation was established and has aided thousands of sisters like me in their educational journeys. Ever since I was initiated, I have endeavored to live by the promises I made to myself and my chapter, and with the support of this scholarship I will be able to continue striving for ambition in all I do in the rest of my time in college. SUPPORTArthritis GrantsIn 2024–2025, Alpha Omicron Pi’s partnership with the Arthritis Foundation continued to provide significant impact for the juvenile arthritis (JA) community, supporting programs such as the JA Family Summit, JA Camps, JA Power Packs, Clinical Rheumatology Fellowships, and the PIKASO Clinical Trial. Through education, peer connection, and resources, thousands of children, teens, young adults, and families gained confidence, built community, and strengthened their ability to manage arthritis.These initiatives deliver life-changing experiences through both in-person and virtual programming. The partnership’s efforts not only met immediate needs—such as providing pain relief resources and supportive environments—but also advanced long-term goals, including physician workforce development and clinical research to improve treatment options.JA CampsJA Camps provided a safe, supportive environment for children and teens with arthritis and related rheumatic diseases to build friendships, gain independence, and learn more about their diagnoses. In 2024, ten overnight camps and one virtual camp welcomed 552 campers, with programming ranging from yoga and arts & crafts to mental well-being sessions and field games. Outcomes were strong—91% of parents reported their child felt more connected to others like themselves, 85% saw increased empowerment, and 83% noted a better understanding of their arthritis. Volunteer feedback mirrored these positive results, with 100% feeling they made an impact. PIKASO The PIKASO Clinical Trial focuses on determining whether metformin, a safe, off-patent drug, can reduce knee pain and structural changes in people with major knee injuries, potentially preventing or slowing the development of knee osteoarthritis. As of 2024, 49 participants have enrolled across multiple sites, with milestone check-ins and ongoing biomechanics data collection. The Ruby Fund—often called the “heart of Alpha Omicron Pi”—exists to offer financial assistance to sisters facing significant hardship. Through Emergency, Alumnae, and Collegiate Grants, the fund provides a lifeline in the face of medical crises, natural disasters, or unforeseen life challenges. It ensures that no sister walks through her darkest moments alone. Thanks to your generosity, the Ruby Fund distributed $75,000 last fiscal year to help 32 sisters in urgent need. Each grant represents more than financial relief—it’s a powerful expression of sisterhood, hope, and love in action.Consider the story of one sister, bravely facing her third thyroid cancer surgery. After beginning a new job, she was forced to take unpaid leave and travel out of state for specialized treatment—expenses that quickly overwhelmed her. With mounting medical bills and essential costs piling up, she was struggling to stay afloat. Thanks to the Ruby Fund, she was able to focus on her health and healing without the added burden of financial stress.This is what sisterhood looks like.
