in the installation.
At the business meeting following, Grace McPhenan was elected
president; Bernice McNeil Bryant, vice-president; Grace Dickinson,
treasurer; Helen Dickinson, secretary and Ella Cates Broun cor-
responding secretary.
Regular meetings of the chapter will be held the third Saturday
of each month, beginning with Saturday, October 19. Any visiting

Julia Byrne, who spent a year in Central America, has returned
to the city much to the delight of Pi chapter.
Rochelle Gacket has been teaching in Melville, La.
Edith and Lily Dupre will be members of the summer school fac-
ulties of the Southwestern Louisiana Industrial Institute and Louis-
iana State University.
Blythe White attended the Commencement exercises of Tulane
University.
Innes Morris spent some time in Georgia and while in Macon was
a maid of honor for the United States Confederate Veterans' Reun-
ion which was held in that city in May.
OMICRON
Alice Hayes who has been teaching in Johnson City, Tenn., spent
a few days with us before going to her home in Nashville, Tenn.
Ailcie Kyle Powel is making her home in Rogersville, Tenn., after
having spent several months at Columbia, New York.
Lucretia Jordan of Asheville, spent a few weeks in Knoxville re-
cently.
Laura Swift Dayo is again in Knoxville after being in Madison-
ville, Tenn., for the past month.
Mary Rust of Nashville, Tenn., will probably spend the summer
in Frankfort, Ky.
B. Armstrong of Rogersville, has accepted a position as teacher of
Domestic Science in the State Institute at Bolivar, Tenn., during the
month of June.
SIGMA
Florence Weeks after attending convention, spent a few weeks
in Canada—and is now taking summer school work at Columbia.
Blanche DuBois is spending her vacation in Honolulu.
Helen Henry left for China in May, where she is visiting her
brother.
Eva Alia Marty was in California for a few weeks, but has re-
turned to her fascinating and all-absorbing charity work in Chicago.
Una Call Kuster is traveling in Europe.
Martha Rice Turlorey has recently returned from a trip East.
Rose Gardner has gone to British Columbia for the summer.
Juanita Judy, '15, is one of the assistants in art at summer school,
University of California.

Isa Henderson is Supervisor in one of the playgrounds at Oakland.
Rose Von Schmidt is at home for the summer months, and is
planning to return to Boston in the fall.

Lucy Allen, '08, will return for her third year to Paducah, Ky.,
where she will again teach English in the high school. This spring
she received her diploma from the Indiana State Normal.
Mabel Allen, '11, will return for her second year to teach in Mun-
cie, Ind.
Maro Beck, '14, has attended Ohio Wesleyan, Delaware, Ohio, dur-
ing this last year.
Elsie Downs, '13, graduated this spring from the Indiana State
Normal School.
Jane Farmer, '11, will teach for her second year in Anderson. Ind.
Flora Fraizer, '12, will teach next year at Winamac. Ind.
Cora Frazier, '07, will teach for her third year in Oklahoma City,
Okla.
Pearl Maze, '07, will return to Tulsa, Okla., for her third year.
Irene Newman, '10, will teach in the Indianapolis Schools.
