Class 10 Social Tenset
The Nepali school system is divided into three levels: primary, secondary, and higher education. Primary education is compulsory for all children aged 6 to 12. Secondary education is divided into two levels: lower secondary (grades 7 to 8) and upper secondary (grades 9 to 12). Upper secondary education is not compulsory, but it is necessary for students who wish to pursue higher education.
The school year in Nepal begins in April and ends in March. There are two semesters per year, each with 18 weeks of instruction. Students are typically required to take 10 subjects per year, including Nepali, English, mathematics, science, and social studies.
