First of all, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to all of you, attending and to witness the 34th JCI Johor Bahru Installation and Award Ceremony. It was one of my greatest highlights in year 2023 to be given the opportunities to be the 33th Local President of JCI Johor Bahru. There are always ups and downs in every journey of our life but i have learnt to make every experience educational. I really to appreciate to 34th JCI Johor Bahru Installation and Award Ceremony Organising Chairman Max Tan and the committees who have worked so hard in making this IAC a magnificent and successful. With this opportunity, I would like to thank our Sister Chapter from Taiwan, JCI New Taipei (新北国际⻘年商会) and from Singapore, JCI City for joining us in this important and memorable event. With the presidential theme "G.L.O.W" and the slogan "Breakthrough," we have accomplished several significant milestones this year, including initiatives projects such as "The Place for E- Waste" and the "Unlock Success Series." We have also successfully collaborated with government departments, including the Department of Environment Johor Bahru and Jabatan Pendidikan Negeri Johor. I am grateful to JCI Junior Chamber International Johor Bahru for recommending me to be the Alumni Chairman for the term 2022 to 2023. Over the past two years, I have been deeply impressed by the support of the past president and Alumni members; it is my most precious wealth. Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021, which has now eased, and everyone being busy with their respective careers and work, they still found time to attend our activities and parties. After the release of COVID-19 in 2021, he successfully led the sustainable development of the local chapter. SCHOOL VISITATION AND COLLABORATION Since March 2023 THE PLACE FOR E-WASTE Monthly E-waste Collection at SJK (C) Foon Yew 2 Updated as of 21st May 2023, 1360kg of e-waste collected. 1360kg of electronic waste has been recycled over 3 months. As a result of a collaboration between JCI Johor Bahru and SJK(C) Foon Yew 2, this project has been initiated. We hope our initiative will raise awareness of the importance of recycling e-waste and promote responsible e-waste disposal among students and parents. Our project emphasized the importance of recycling electronic waste with all the students and guided them through the steps and methods for recycling it. Our goal through this event is to spread the message of electronic waste recycling to everyone around us and collaborate in protecting our environment.
THE PLACE FOR E-WASTE JCIM Area Central South Convention We are very happy that our project won the JCIM Area Central South first quarter and second quarter award-Outstanding Impactful Project. This award and recognition have pushed the whole team and our local organization toward the goal of the project. It also motivates the team and unites to reach a greater height. "Empowering Acts of Compassion: A Successful Blood Donation Event With immense gratitude, we celebrate the triumphant completion of our recent blood donation event. United by a common goal, we collected an impressive 8 bags of life-saving blood, a testament to the generosity and compassion of all participants. It is heartening to witness the power of collective action and the difference it can make in the lives of those in need. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to JCIM Area Central South & JCI Bandar Kajang for inviting us to co-host this event.
