Chairman’s Address I represent PGAPP, a charity organization committed to making a positive impact on the lives of the less fortunate. Established in 2004 as HHGCC and formally registered as PGAPP in 2018, we are proud to share the highlights of our 2023 achievements. In the past year, PGAPP sponsored 771 students in 36 primary schools in Penang and Province Wellesley, providing them with daily meals at a cost of RM3 per day for 200 school days. This initiative alone amounted to a commendable RM450,000 for school meals. Beyond this, PGAPP actively engaged in various charity activities, sponsoring educational resources and supporting community projects to uplift lives. Our "Sponsor a Student" initiative, now in its second year, has garnered overwhelming support, showcasing the growing awareness and compassion within our community. With Profound Gratitude, Ong Peng Nam Chairman of PGAPP Looking ahead, our annual charity dinner on February 16, 2024, at the Che Hoon Khor Moral Uplifting Building, will gather 800 distinguished guests under the theme "Bridging Needs." The event aims to address the challenges faced by many households, emphasizing our commitment to support the poor and less fortunate, bridging gaps for a more equitable society. Reaffirming our core beliefs, "No kid should go hungry" and "No underprivileged should be neglected" we are grateful for the continuous support from sponsors, donors, and volunteers. Your contributions have made a significant difference, and together, we will persist in creating a more compassionate and equal society, ensuring every individual has the opportunity to thrive.
