Bootcamp

DT4L: THE BOOTCAMP
Overview
Independent Schools Victoria (ISV) along with global leaders in Design Thinking, NoTosh, are offering schools and individuals the unique opportunity to be a part of the Design Thinking for Learning (DT4L) Movement.
This one day session will give you an insight and understanding into the world of Design Thinking and how you can best implement the model in your own school or classroom context.
If you find yourself saying ‘I’ve heard this Design Thinking term a lot recently but don't really know too much about it’ or asking ‘What exactly is Design Thinking and how does it inform what I might do in my classroom?’ then this one day, immersive introduction to DT4L is for you.
Design Thinking for Learning
Exclusively for ISV Member Schools, the DT4L Bootcamp explores the NoTosh Design Thinking Process as a model of inquiry. This one day introduction to Design Thinking for Learning will give you the confidence to explore concepts around the Design Thinking inquiry process and implement ideas which will have a lasting impact.
Teams and/or individuals from schools will immerse themselves in the program, exploring the different ways to effectively and creatively engage students in their learning.
By the close of the session you will have examined and discussed a number of innovative ideas and will walk away with practical takeaways to take back to your school and try for yourself.
