Warm-Up

› 2 Laps around the gym
› Straight down(legs)-12 sec
› Straddled down middle(legs)-12 sec
› Straddled down right(legs)-12 sec
› Straddled down left (legs)-12 sec
› Right over left (arms)-12 sec
› Left over right (arms)-12 sec
› Behind the back right arm-12 sec
› Behind the back left arm-12 sec

4 Musical Hula-Hoop

Directions:
First have all participants form a big circle
with holding hands with one hula-hoop
around the starter of the game(this can
be anyone). Once the music starts the
objective is to get your whole body
through the hula-hoop before the music
stops or your out.

Purpose:
Learn to follow direction, listen carefully,
and become more Intune or aware of
your entire body and it’s movements.

Equipment:
Hula-hoop
Music

5 Simon Says Group

Directions:
To pick out Simon have everyone guess a
number from 1-20. Once picked Simon will
be in charge of calling out a number for
how many people can be in a group by
saying, “ Simon says …(number). Everyone
has to make that number if you don’t
have a group to go to your out. If your
number or if you make a group of the
number that wasn’t called your out, and
lastly if you move before you hear Simon
says your out.

Purpose:
Learn to follow direction, listen carefully,
and memory.

Equipment:
None

6 Red light Green Light

Directions:
Have everyone pick a number 1-20 to
pick out who will be over traffic control.
Once picked everyone will start on the
base line with there scooter. When you
hear green light you can move as fast as
you want, when you hear yellow light you
must move slow. When you hear red light
you must stop and when you hear reverse
you must back up. Failure to do any of
these commands will result in you being
out.

Purpose:
Learn to follow direction, listen carefully,
memory, patience, and controlling your
body movements.

Equipment:
Scooters
Cones

7 Luck Shots

Directions:
Have everyone line up at the free-throw
line and give them each a chance to
make a free-throw shot if you make it you
go to the end of the line if you do not you
are out. The last person standing wins!

Purpose:
Learn to follow direction, listen carefully,
being consistent and confidence in
yourself.

Equipment:
Basketball X2
Basketball goal

8 Bugs Life

Directions:
Have all participants line up on base line
with there scooters. Before the race have
them all lay flat on their belly and on the
command crawl they all race across the
gym floor to the finish line who ever
crosses first wins.

Purpose:
Learn to follow direction, listen carefully,
and building new motor skills .

Equipment:
Scooter

9 Knee Dodgeball

Directions:
There should be a minimum of 4 people total playing
allowing 2 on each side to make the game fair and
equal
There should be a boundary set up for each side of the
teams courts (in/out) along with separation of the sides
of the teams. (This can be a line or a line of cones)
The game will go until a set time limit or until the last
person is standing on a team.

Playing Dodgeball
The objective of the game is to get as many people

out on the opposite team as possible so that you’re
team will either have the most people left or have the
last man standing on your team.

Ways to Get Someone out
Throwing a live ball at someone and making contact
Catching a live ball that was thrown at you from the
opposite team
Throwing a live ball at someone and they drop it
If they stand up for any reason

Purpose:
Learn to follow direction, listen carefully, and arm
control, body movement, and reaction time.

Equipment:
Balls
Cones

10 Hot Birdie

Directions:
Have everyone in a circle arms length
away from one another. Give the birdie
to a random person to start the game.
Each person will take turns hitting the
birdie to a random person in the circle
while singing, “ hot birdie hot birdie who
has the hot birdie if you drop the hot
birdie you are out.

Purpose:
Learn to follow direction, listen carefully,
focus, self initiative and responsibility.

Equipment:
Tennis Rackets
Birdie

11 Ballin

Directions:
Have everyone stand in a circle and
throw the ball in the air, the objective is to
keep the balls in the air as long as possible

Purpose:
Learn to follow direction, listen carefully,
focus, self initiative and responsibility and
taking turns.

Equipment:
Balls

12 Tennis Racket Relay

Directions:
Have all participants line up at the
baseline and count to 4 to put them in
groups of 5. Give each group a tennis
racket and a tennis ball. They have to
take turns walking around the cone on
the other side of the court and back with
out their tennis balls falling off or they
have to go back to the start line and start
over and can’t pass it off to the next
teammate.

Purpose:
Learn to follow direction, listen carefully,
focus, balance being a team player.

Equipment:
Tennis Balls
Tennis Racket
Cones

13 Indoor Relay

Directions:
Have all participants line up at the
baseline and count to 5 to put them in
groups of 4. Each group will line a
member of their team up at a cone and
on the command go will began a side
shuffle to the 2nd leg, a skip to the 3rd leg,
a hop to the 4th leg and the 4th leg will run
the last part in through the finish line the
first to cross wins.

Purpose:
Learn to follow direction, listen carefully,
focus, being a team player and different
leg motor skills.

Equipment:
Cones

14 Leap Frog Relay

Directions:
Have all participants line up at the
baseline in groups of 2. On the command
go they will leap frog over one another
until they reach the finish line. The first to
reach the finish line wins.

Purpose:
Learn to follow direction, listen carefully,
focus, being a team player and different
leg and arm motor skills.

Equipment:
None

15 Crab-Walk Relay

Directions:
Have all participants line up at the
baseline. On the command go they will
crab walk until they reach the finish line.
The first to reach the finish line wins.

Learn to follow direction, listen carefully,
focus, being a team player and different
leg and arm motor skills.

None
