Most skiers learn the “Snowplough!”
Its name was from the way your skis
make. The snowplough helps you
control your speed or when you turn.
It is way different from more skilled
or advanced skiing.

If you want to slow down, push the
tails of your skis outwards. If you
want to go faster make the tails go
together. The tails are the back of
you skis and the head is the front of
your skis.

If you want to turn left, put your
right hip forward a little, and put
extra weight on your right
foot.Turning right will be the same
but opposite.

Parallel Skiing This should be your
position.
If you think you have mastered the
snowplough turns, you should try
the next level of skiing. Your poles
will be held under your arms loosely
on your side.But mostly to use them
for helping your balance. Your knees
should be bent and your shoulders
should be in line with your knees.

Information about Brawl Stars

This is a fighting game that has more than 20 characters. The
objective of the game is to kill all players and collect gems! For
example, the game is when you go around and try to collect alexers.
If you collect an alexer you do more damage and you get more
health. If i was Bull i do 500 damage i collect an alexer i do 959
damage. A damage happens when I hit you.

Brawl stars is a fighting game with lots of characters
Nita,Shely,Bo are fighters. Dinamike and barley are
throwers.Pam poco are healers

Game modes, Events & Arenas

All the different Game modes

All the game modes are gem grab,
showdown (solo or duo), heist, bounty, siege,
brawl ball, big game, safe defenders & robo
rumble.

Grass can make

For every game mode there are also different arenas, some
arenas may have more grass and other arenas can have more
walls.

First game mode.

Gem grab

In gem grab, gems will come out of the middle & you
need to collect them, once your team has 10 gems for 15
seconds in a row you win, however, if you have 6 gems &
you teammate has 5 gems and you die, you will drop your
gems and your teammates or your opponents can collect
them.

Showdown

You can choose if you want to play solo showdown or duo
showdown, in solo showdown there are 10 people and you just need
to be the last one standing. There is also a storm that you run faster
than, it closes in every second and does 1000 damage per second.
For duo showdown it’s basically the same thing but there are 5
teams of 2, if you die you can respawn as long as your teammate is
alive for 15 seconds after you die. Be the last one standing!

In heist, there are 2 teams of 3 people in each team. Each team
has a shiny white safe full of gems with 40,000 health, you just need to
destroy the other teams safe. You can still kill your opponents in this

Puppies

What is a puppy?

A puppy is a young dog.
To be a puppy, your dog has to be younger than two years old.
Dogs are used for many different reasons such as as a pet, guide dogs for blind
people, military dogs, sniffer dogs.

What do puppies eat?

Puppies do not eat solid food until they are about four weeks old. When they are
younger, they only drink milk.

Training Puppies

Puppies are trained to go to the bathroom outside. But it is hard to train a puppy,
so you might use treats to reward them. And you might need to clean up the

How to care for Lizards

Have you ever wanted a Lizard? Well, you have to get a tank depending on the
size of the Lizard, get a tank that the Lizard can fit in. First you have to get
the tank cleaned with no diseases in it. You have to put a food bowl in, and
some branches. Next, depending on what type the Lizard is, you give it
different types of food like mealworms or little ants and NO big ants, just
small ants. Lastly, depending on the type of Lizard, you put a light so it’s
warmer. And DON’T put a light if the Lizard lives somewhere tropical... so you
put a water bowl in, and put in the branches.

What do they eat?

They eat specific foods, like some eat bugs or beetles, those are the
desert Lizards. They eat beetles and bugs and also desert Iguanas eat
them. Some Lizards that you have as pets, some of those Lizards eat
mealworms and some eat different animals (Like other small Lizards).

How long do they live?

Well some Lizards live up to 5-30 years and when Lizards are still in
their egg, they are in there for 2-3 months. And Geckos live up to
30-50 years. And lots different types of Lizards and Geckos Live
different periods of time. Some live shorter or longer times like the
Diplosaurus (Desert Lizard).

What do they eat? Well some types of Lizards eat small ants
and some other Lizards eat other types of prey. What are their
predators? Some Lizards get eaten by birds and some humans kill
them or keep them as pets forever until they DIE. how do they
defend themselves? Well most Lizards have sharp claws to

defend or they choose to run away from their predators. They also have

hard and tough scales to defend themselves. why do they shed
skin? Lizards shed skin because they grow bigger and their old skin

gets tight, then they shed their old skin and grow new skin.

Modern Day Unstable Regions By Abeer Kaul

Afghanistan

Between the hindu kush in the north and the eyes of desert in
the south and high plains were the air is fresh. It has a bizarre
but peaceful landscape, it is known as the crossroad of
civilizations because of its strategic position in many major
trade routes and also invations destroying and creating the
country. It has absorbed many different aspects of different
cultures and is a mix of many cultures. But during the imperial
era it became competed over by Russia and Britain. This was
since it was firstly, a major holder of trade routes and if either
Russia or Britain would get it they would be controlling most of
Asia’s trade routes strengthening their position in whatever
area they controlled and also they would strengthen their influence. So Britain invaded Afghanistan but because of
climate they were repulsed this happened three times on the third which britain gave up. By this time the USSR
(union of soviet socialist republics)

KashmirKashmir is a state of India, Pakistan and

China. Why? I’ll tell you later. it is known
for its natural beauty and is the
crossroad of Tibetan, Central asian
Indian and Pakistani cultures. After
Independence of India and Pakistan a
few kingdoms including were still
independent. Let's focus on two of these
Telangana and Kashmir. Telangana
wanted to join pakistan since it was
with an Islamic ruler( the divide between India and Pakistan was based on religionmHaijnodriutyaInsdlaImsliacmic but still caused 15
million people to move) sadly for Telangana geography betrayed it and it was right in the middle of India landlocked. So
Indian government took over by force. In the case of kashmir though the ruler was Hindu but the country was majority
Islamic. This was a big problem because most people had a vastly different opinion to the monarch who wanted Kashmir
to be independent while most of the population wanted to join pakistan. kashmir to be independent in fact roughly 70% of
the country was supporting annexation. (To note just kashmir area in the blue and gilgit-baltistan in green were Islamic
majority otherwise the rest was either Hindu or buddhist) So in late 1947 pakistan invaded Kashmir. Matters became more
complicated when the king of kashmir asked india for help and India agreed on the condition that Kashmir be annexed to
india and so a war started there was a stalemate in 1948 but by this time india had the upper hand and controlled more of
Kashmir than it does today; but Jawaldaral Nehru, the prime minister decided that India should withdraw their troops.
Because of this mistake there were 3 other wars along with other attacks politically, economically and physically

South Sudan

South Sudan used to be part of Sudan but these areas
are very different by geographically and ethnically. While
Sudan is mostly desert, with more ethnic ties to the
middle east and majorly Islamic by religion to contrast
with South sudan which is savanna (grassland, with
many rivers and not very arid compared to Sudan, also it
has majorly African ethnicities and tribal religions. How
did these very different areas end up the same
country??? Usually isn’t a country supposed to be more
similar? Well actually these areas weren’t united or a lot
related until the late pre modern era when a coalition of
the British and the Egyptians invaded the area southern
to them this is modern day Sudan and South Sudan.
Sadly sudan was favored to South Sudan
and it lagged behind in development. As it happened in the rest of Africa, countries were not made in favour of
the people and sudan controlled South sudan and again the north was favoured and so the revolts began. The
country gained independence but alas, it was war torn and groups who acted in the war fought( they had been
fighting even before independence in 2008) this cost lives and homes... so when the government finally took
over the country was in shambles. The country did have help but a dictator took control and revolts are starting
who knows? Anything can happen maybe the dictator will be overthrown this is likely because revolts are
starting.
