School Song - Our Wesley Anthem
Wesleyans stand up and heed
The call to honour our Wesley creed
To rise above and beyond them all
To live as light for all
The vision God has given us
Faithful we will be
To stand for truth and excellence
For all the world to see
The Flame of God will burn on bright
As we learn what’s right
And hold steadfast to what is right
Serving with all our might
Wesleyans stand up and heed
The call to live out our Wesley creed
All our days to keep it bright
The Wesley Methodist flame
For the glory of God’s name!

Director of Private Education
Dear Students of WMS Seremban, Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Firstly, we must thank God for the safety of all the students of the school & their families.
Secondly, the Academic year 2020 has been very different from all the years the school have
experienced. The world has been talking about disruptive technology displacing traditional industry
and our school life experienced disruptive situation on account of a virus induced pandemic,
pushing us towards usage of technology. For this years’ experience; we are thankful to God & our
school leadership & teachers for the co-operation to expeditiously work on this new way; so that we
can continue to ensure that education is delivered to the home of our students, and assignment and
homework are also addressed.
I am sure for the School Leadership, the teachers and the students, there is no replacement for the
dynamism of delivering education face-to-face. There is great value for people to authentically
relate to one another, listening and responding as part of overall education.
Thirdly, we are also appreciative of the parents of students who stood by their students to allow
them the access and use of computers and devices in the home to access to learning. We also want
to thank parents who continue to encourage their child on the journey so to enable each child to
benefit from online education.
Of course, once again it is the time of the year where we as a school come together to
acknowledge & congratulate those who have excelled in academic achievements, even in the light of
such new circumstance. I want to congratulate each of you who have worked hard for the academic
results this year, and pray that you will continue to put in the discipline and desire to build
yourself up for even greater academic outcome in the coming year.
Together we must seek God for protection and resilience, and together we will move to the next
academic year.
Yours sincerely,

Hence, we celebrate and honour our students who have achieved academic excellence and that this

WMSS Art Work
Geometrical mosaic art was introduced to the lower secondary to be drawn on the doors of our school.
The geometric patterns became common in the Mediterranean from the 8th century BC, and by around the 3rd
century BC. The students did not only learn a form of ancient art but used mathematics in this project.
To stay safe when we came back, the lower secondary
students designed and made physical distancing hats
using pool noodle, cardboard papers & material from
home. This creative project was to keep us safe and to
bring back excitement on coming back to school. The
physical distancing hats are guaranteed to keep you
safe within a range of 1 meter!

The Beauty of Acrylic Pour
The lower secondary students did a fun project on acrylic pour on canvas. It rst emerged in the 1930's from an
artist named David Alfaro Siqueiros. He simply poured di erent colours of paint one on top of each other and
allowed them to spread and mix. So fascinated by what happened, he worked to discover the science of why. The
students learnt to measure the paint amount to cover the surface area of the canvas. A cup was used to pour out
the acrylic paint with a twist to create the beautiful art pieces.

Editor's Note
We started year 2020 “Ready To Fly”, not knowing what we would face but like wings of an eagle, we did soar as
we braved COVID-19 with online classes and now as school reopened with all the Standard Operating Procedures,
we are ying strong.
