memorable retirement through zoom (I guess) and the collection of wishes. Ms Wendy is really thoughtful in creating the

Thank you for teaching us. You are our one and only Physics teacher. I have enjoyed learning physics and solving those
physics problems. Although I am not working in the field related to physics now, I know it is in our life! Few years back, I had

my first bungee jump from 43m and experienced free fall and the pull of gravity. It’s an amazing feeling
(but I wouldn't dare to try again XD)

That day, I was talking to a very young sourdough bao supplier, he shared the beauty of science (microbiology, chemical
reaction and the physics) he used in kneading and making his bao. He reminds me about life in school.
Physics is something we can’t see, but it’s the life force we can feel ^^

I believe you have inspired many students too. It is time to enjoy life without marking exam papers and lab reports. Plan well

Dear Pn Norlizah, wishing you a happy retirement! I’m always astonished by how time flies; it’s been seven
years since we left school. I can’t help but to reminisce about the fun days we had in the physics lab. I could

vividly recall the day when my group (of monkeys) was enthusiastically experimenting with resonant
pendulums that didn’t quite work out until you came to our bench to shush us so that we observed the
oscillations quietly, which only then we could work it out at last. Taking a step back and being patient is a key
to success -- the lesson that I learned that day had eventually led me to where I am today. Words of
appreciation aren’t enough to express how much I enjoyed your classes, and definitely inadequate to show
how thankful I am for you having helped build a strong physics foundation that has been very useful to date. I

hope you will enjoy the new chapter of your life. Stay fabulous :)

Dear Pn Norlizah, Congratulations on your retirement!
You made physics a very enjoyable subject and it was indeed my favourite subject in high school. Although I went on
to study biomedical science at University, I would still appreciate the physics behind all those biological phenomenons.
Along with other science teachers, you had nurtured my passion for science and that had led me to become a student
researcher (A thing that I would have never thought of when I was in form 5). Interestingly, when I need to use a pipette
to measure solutions, your famous quote “your eyes must be perpendicular to the scale” would appear in my head. It
used to be a very stern phrase from you when we did not do our physics experiments well back then. But, who would

have known it turned out to be a useful all-time practise after all.
In short, you have made many brilliant and proud students so you should be proud of yourself too. Enjoy your

retirement! Take care!

of a teacher in BU2. You’ve impacted my secondary school life with your teachings and

liked Physics the most (Though I went on to study Accounting in University and am currently working as an
Auditor). I sincerely cherished your efforts, passion and patience in educating us throughout (as well as the

headaches we gave you in the two years many many moons ago. Christopher Ng,
As is the norm with these things, we would all like to thank you once again for the lessons taught during our time
together. Not just in physics, but in life as well, with the latter proving to be slightly more useful to the majority of Ng Wei Lun,
us who ended up not doing anything remotely related to physics after leaving BU2. Ho Wai Yoong, J1 ~
Speaking of us, we're all doing pretty much alright in our own ways. We really haven't changed all that much from
all those years ago too.
A little bit older and a tiny bit wiser we may be, but we're certainly still the same insufferable little shits from
before. And yes, we're amazingly all still friends even after all those years.
Now in terms of what we're all actually up to these days, it's about an even split among us for those who are still
studying and those who have already entered the working world. It's also about the same kind of split too for
those who are in Malaysia, and those who have gone abroad, with one now in Singapore and two(-ish) over in the
UK.
Well that's about it from us I think, we do hope life after retirement will treat you well. Perhaps treat yourself to a
well needed rest and holiday away from the screaming dumb kids (i.e. us), after the world returns to some
semblance normalcy that is.

remember me hehe. I was quite delighted to be me Sains in Form 4 (4T,2018). I’m very appreciative that you make the class be

For me you weren’t just my teacher but also a good friend. You have taken care of me since I was in Form 1 and
that's when I got to know you. I was very happy to know that you were my physics teacher in form 4. That's why I

tried hard to not let you down and get my physics from failing to A. I am sure that a lot of our classmates have
