Message
From The President

It is an honor to be leading the American Malaysian Chamber of
Commerce (AMCHAM). It is a special community made up of mostly
American companies and acts as the voice of U.S. businesses in Malaysia.
Working towards the goal of improving the business and investment
environment in Malaysia, AMCHAM provides relevant information to
our members and is a platform that represents members’ interests to
both Malaysian and U.S. stakeholders. It is also a place for its members
to network, learn as well as discuss common issues amongst each other.

American firms remain keen to invest in Malaysia and are encouraged
by the changes brought about in the past year. Malaysia remains
a welcoming environment to our members and with this in mind,
AMCHAM will work to continue making our members our top priority
and growing the community.

Our efforts in working collaboratively with our members have brought
about a healthy, productive work environment with government
stakeholders in Malaysia. Engagement and networking opportunities
amongst our members are critical to our success as we seek to better
understand the needs of an evolving business environment.

I would like to take this opportunity to extend my deepest gratitude to
all of our members and stakeholders for the continuous support that
keeps the Chamber thriving. I also would like to thank our amazing
Governors and the executive office for serving the members with utmost
care. As 2019 continues to unfold, I look forward to more engaging and
compelling moments with all of you.

Message
From The Executive Director

One of the biggest benefits being part of a membership organization
is the community and networking opportunities available to all its
members. Engagement by and among members serves as a key
ingredient for the success of such an organization. But what truly makes
AMCHAM amazing are the many members who lend their time, talent,
vast knowledge and experiences for the overall business community.

Creating value for our members remains a priority for us. Since our
inception in 1978, we continue to stand strong as the voice of U.S.
businesses in Malaysia with more than 1000 members from over 260
American, Malaysian and other international companies with the
Chamber. We provide a platform for sharing information and detailed
knowledge on contemporary subject matters affecting the business
environment. This can range from the more immediate advocacy
discussions to the peer-sharing programs that build upon the ethos of
American corporate culture.

The AMCHAM Membership Directory provides valuable insight to the
members affiliated with AMCHAM along with stakeholders with whom
we are in regular contact. Just as these pages are a resource for you,
your active participation is an irreplaceable resource for the Chamber
to be effective in its activities.

Constantly growing and evolving, AMCHAM remains committed in
representing all our members and enabling U.S. businesses to thrive in
a competitive Malaysia.

Here’s to another exciting and engaging year!
