Diagon Alley- ​Diagon Alley is a cobblestoned wizarding alley and shopping

area located in London, England behind a pub called the Leaky Cauldron. Inside
the alley is an assortment of restaurants, shops, and other sights. All items on
the Hogwarts supply list can be bought at Diagon Alley

Hogwarts- H​ ogwarts​ School of Witchcraft and

Wizardry, shortened ​Hogwarts,​ is a fictional British school

of magic for students aged eleven to eighteen, and is the
primary setting for the first six books.

Horcruxes- H​ orcrux​ is "a receptacle prepared by dark magic in which a Dark

wizard has intentionally hidden a fragment of his soul for the purpose of attaining
immortality." ` ` The concept of a "soul container" is not original to the world of Harry
Potter.

Quidditch- ​ ​n the Harry Potter universe, quidditch is a game played by wizards and

witches. Each team consists of seven players, each flying on a broomstick. Players attempt to
throw soccer-ball-size balls, called quaffles, through three large hoop goals at either end of the
pitch; a goal is worth 10 points. One player on each team is designated the seeker, and it is his or
her job to capture the golden snitch, a golden winged ball the size of a walnut that zips around the
playing field of its own volition. The team that catches the snitch earns 150 points, which, because
each match goes to 150, generally ends the game.

Descriptive

Harry Potter is a action-pack filled magical series about a boy fulfilling his
destiny. When he was just a year old Harry’s parents were murdered right
in front of him. The wizard who killed his parents is Voldemort. After that

night Harry lived with his aunt, uncle and cousin. Voldemort went into
hiding.

Sequence
To get into Hogwarts you, first you get your acceptance letter to
Hogwarts​. In the letter it describes what H​ ogwarts​ is and how to get there.
To get to ​Hogwarts​ you have to go to Kings Cross Station in between
stations 9 and 10. There is a barrier there and you have to walk into it. For
the other things you need for Hogwarts you have to go to​ Diagon Alley.
There you get a wand, books an owl and robes. Then on September 1 you
get on the Hogwarts Express. When you arrive at Hogwarts you get sorted
into one of the Hogwarts house, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, Slytherin and
Gryffindor. (Personally I would like to be in Gryffindor.)

Compare and Contrast
Even though Harry Potter is a magical story their are many other
stories like it. For example Percy Jackson, The Hobbit, and The Lord of the
Rings. I think the most common one is Percy Jackson. Percy Jackson is

about ​always trouble-prone, the life of teenager Percy Jackson gets a lot
more complicated when he learns he's the son of the Greek god Poseidon.
At a training ground for the children of deities, Percy learns to harness his
divine powers and prepare for the adventure of a lifetime: he must prevent
a feud among the Olympians from erupting into a devastating war on Earth,
and rescue his mother from the clutches of Hades, god of the underworld.
Whereas Harry Potter actually goes to school makes friends and fulfils his
destiny. They are both alike because they both use the unknown and kill
the one man that ruin their lives.

Cause and Effect

Quidditch!​ In quidditch you have 7 players on the field on broomsticks. There is a keeper who
guards the goal posts, then there's the beaters who beat the bludgers to the opposing team. The
chasers are the one who scores the points in the 3 goal posts, Then there's the seeker. The
seeker is the most important player on any team. The seeker has weave in and out of the other
players on the team and try to catch the snitch. When the seeker catches the snitch the game is
over and wins their team 150 points!

Problem and Solution

Horcruxes.​ These are the things that kept Voldemort
alive until he was brought back to life. Harry had to destroy
them to kill Voldemort. In the 7th book he destroys 4
horcruxes. Lainey was here! He also kills Voldemort and
fulfills his destiny. He then marries Ginny Weasley and
has 3 kids. He works for the Ministry of Magic.

3 cats. My favorite things to do is play
basketball, play xbox, watch youtube, and
read. My favorite book series is Harry
