SEVENTY-EIGHTH ANNIVERSARY DINNER

YESHIVA OF CENTRAL QUEENS

Message From
Reize Sipzner
Dinner Chairperson

Welcome to the 78th Anniversary Scholarship Dinner of the Yeshiva
of Central Queens. This is truly a special and exciting evening as we pay tribute
to outstanding honorees who have each dedicated themselves to our beloved
Yeshiva.
I personally devote my time to YCQ because it is clear to me that I must do
everything I can to help strengthen our main partner in raising our most precious
children. I know my kids loved to see how much their school mattered to me, and
that is why we must all make it a priority to become involved. Together we will
make a difference.
The annual Dinner is an opportunity for every one of us to make a very
public declaration that we recognize the importance of enabling all families to be
part of our incredible YCQ family. Funds raised through this dinner campaign will
insure that no child will be denied access to the excellent education YCQ provides
both in Limudei Kodesh and in General Studies as well as the many extracurricular
activities we offer.
I have been fortunate to work together with an amazing group of people
who have been by my side for these last few months and who helped put together
one of our most successful dinners. I offer heartfelt thanks to Rabbi Mark Landsman,
Rabbi Yaakov Lonner, and Rabbi Avraham Kovitz for the many “after hours” they
spent working tirelessly on this effort. Batsheva, Devora, Bob, Moshe, Jennifer,
Alisa and Caryn, you are our A TEAM and I know I couldn’t have done this without
your help and expertise.
Mazel tov to our esteemed honorees, Joshua, Rachel, Eve, Rabbi Todd,
Rabbi Moshe Hamel, and Randi. You are all shining examples of devotion and
commitment to YCQ and superb role models we can all learn from and strive to
emulate.

We thank ‫ הקב’’ה‬for getting us to this night.‫שהחינו וקימנו והגיענו לזמן הזה‬

Lastly, I would like to thank my family and friends for allowing me the privilege of
working for this wonderful school. Thank you all for joining us, and I hope you enjoy
the evening.

YESHIVA OF CENTRAL QUEENS

Message From
Rabbi Mark Landsman, Principal

Rabban Gamliel, the son of Rabbi Yehuda HaNasi, has a fascinating
statement in the second Mishna of the second Perek of Pirkei Avot,

“‫”וכל העוסקים עם הצבור יהיו עוסקים עמהם לשם שמים שזכות אבותם מסיעתם וצדקתם עומדת לעד‬
“All who involve themselves in the needs of the community should do so for
the sake of Heaven, for the merit of their ancestors will assist them and their
righteousness with endure forever.”
Rabbi Berel Wein explains that the success of any organization or
generation is built upon the sincere efforts of the previous leaders who devoted
themselves with sincerity and commitment paving the way for today’s challenges
to be handled with much fortitude.
Tonight, we have the great privilege of honoring outstanding individuals
who serve our Yeshiva with sincerity and devotion, always acting purely for the
sake of Heaven.
Mazel tov to Randi Luxenberg upon receiving our Alumni award.
Thanks so much for working so tirelessly on behalf of your Alma Mater for
all these decades. May HaShem grant you continued energy to serve our
community with vigor and your unique style of charisma, and charm, in good
health and happiness till 120.
Much Hakarat HaTov to our Educator Awardee, Rabbi Moshe Hamel,
for all that he does for our students on a daily basis. For nearly two decades,
Rabbi Hamel has inspired our Junior High School students with much love for
Torah and Mitzvot. May HaShem grant him the necessary energy to continue his
Avodat HaKodesh for many years to come.
Mazel tov to our Guests of Honor, the Sullivans and the Sissers. As
exemplary role model parents, they have distinguished themselves by imbuing
all of the values and high standards of our Yeshiva, into each of their wonderful
children.
May both families continue to serve as examples of how to create
homes whereby love for Torah, Mitzvot and Midot Tovot are balanced with
academic excellence. May HaShem grant them continued nachat from their
children in good health and happiness till 120.
Special thanks to Mrs. Reize Sipzner and her entire committee who
worked tirelessly to ensure the success of this year’s dinner.
May Hashem continue to bless our Yeshiva with much Siyata Dishmaya
as we grow in M’Chayil L’Chayil.

SEVENTY-EIGHTH ANNIVERSARY DINNER

YESHIVA OF CENTRAL QUEENS

Message From
Rabbi Yaakov Lonner, Executive Director

Dear Friends:
Tonight, we celebrate the culmination of one of the most successful scholarship
fund campaigns in the seventy-eight year history of our Yeshiva.
We applaud our outstanding honorees who graciously consented to lend their
names to this effort:
Mrs. Randi Beeber Luxenberg ’73, our Distinguished Alumna awardee whose
passion and energy have taught us by example what it means to show hakarat
hatov to her alma mater;
Drs. Josh and Rachel Sisser and Rabbi Todd and Dr. Eve Sullivan, our Guests of
Honor, whose enthusiasm on many projects, especially the upcoming 5k Run,
help lead to exciting new initiatives for our Yeshiva;
Rabbi Moshe Hamel, our Educator awardee, who has been raising the bar in
our Junior High School limudei kodesh program. For close to two decades,
he has made a tremendous impact on his talmidim, both as a rebbe and as an
assistant principal.
Heartfelt thanks to our superb Dinner Committee: our “fearless” Dinner
Chairperson, Mrs. Reize Sipzner who led the charge to make this evening a
huge success, Batsheva Solimannia – for working many twenty hour days,
Bob Greenberg, Devora Baer, Rabbi Avraham Kovitz, Alisa Avruch, Moshe
Weinstock, and Jennifer Jaffe for working “in the trenches” to perform the
multitude of tasks needed to produce this gala event.
Thank you to the hundreds of contributors who participated generously in this
campaign.

Chazal say that the word “‫“ “ונתנו‬They shall give” can be read frontwards and

backwards to tell us that what one gives in charity, will be returned to him in
the form of a heavenly reward.

‫ –״והי׳ נועם ה׳ אלקינו עלינו״‬May our holy work always be the recipient of

Hashem’s choicest blessings.

Message From

Israel Glaser, Chairman of the Board
Dr. Joel Wein, President

Our warmest congratulations to our most deserving Guests of
Honor, Drs. Joshua and Rachel Sisser and Rabbi Todd and Dr.
Eve Sullivan, to our Educator awardee, Rabbi Moshe Hamel,
and to our Distinguished Alumna awardee, Mrs. Randi Beeber
Luxenberg ’73. We are so grateful for the exemplary contributions
that they make to our Yeshiva year-round, and particularly for
the role they played in the success of our scholarship campaign,
which culminates with tonight’s Dinner.
YCQ plays a crucial role in molding the lives of our students.
When they leave YCQ, they take with them a firm knowledge of
our rich heritage encompassing the love of Torah, the love of Eretz
Yisroel, of gemilut chasadim and of kiddush Hashem- in addition
to a general education that is top notch.
While our teaching staff give their all in imparting the knowledge
of Torah and mitzvot, the home environment, and the impact of
our parents is primary. We feel privileged to partner with each
and every family in pursuit of the goal of seeing our youth flower
as the proverbial eitz chaim. May Hashem bless us to merit joy
and nachat from them.
Our profound yasher koach to YCQ’s Board of Trustees,
administrators, and faculty for the success of our Yeshiva. We
acknowledge with much gratitude the successful efforts of our
dedicated Dinner Committee.
May we celebrate the Seventy-Ninth Anniversary Dinner in
Yerushalyim Ir Hakodesh.

Parent Teacher Organization
Our YCQ Parent Teacher Organization’s goal is to assure
that the proper hakarat hatov is given to our teachers, as
well as to bring school spirit to our Yeshiva, creating a warm
and nurturing environment for our children, parents, and
faculty.
We welcome your involvement. Whatever amount of time
you can give - we need you. The success of our programs
and fundraisers are directly influenced by the enthusiasm,
support and participation of our parents and teachers.
These experiences ultimately benefit our children.
PTO meetings are held to discuss and plan upcoming events,
which require committees to be successful. They are open
to all parents and staff. We afford you the opportunity
to connect with other parents and faculty, have a voice in
upcoming events and activities, and help us give the most
back to our students and faculty.
Our PTO strives to bring our Yeshiva and our YCQ family
together to best benefit our children and our school. We
look forward to working with all of you to see our goal
reach fruition.

SEVENTY-EIGHTH ANNIVERSARY DINNER

In Memoriam

Mrs. Ruth Rosenberg ‫ז׳ל‬

Ruth Rosenberg was a master teacher at the Yeshiva of Central Queens
for over 20 years, but she was so much more than a teacher…she was
a leader of the faculty, a mentor to both teachers and students alike,
a role model, and above all, a friend. When Ruth spoke, everyone
listened. In a quiet and respectful way, she was always there for
everyone.
Ruth Rosenberg was an expert social studies teacher. She knew her
history better than almost anyone we know, always adding stories,
personal accounts, and interesting facts to make the history come
alive for her students …she didn’t teach history…she taught kids.
We thank Ruth Rosenberg for putting our school and our students
ahead of everything else. We thank her for making each of us better
than we thought we could be. She will be forever missed by the
entire YCQ family.

YESHIVA OF CENTRAL QUEENS

Dr. Eve & Rabbi Todd Sullivan

Guests of Honor

Eve and Todd met in Todd’s hometown of
Buffalo, NY, while Eve was a student at the
SUNY Buffalo School of Medicine. Todd was
studying to be a computer programmer. He
then left Buffalo to learn for the year at Yeshiva
Sh’or Yoshuv in Far Rockaway. Eve and Todd
were married in August, 1999 and established
their first home in Buffalo. After Eve finished
medical school, the couple moved to Kew
Gardens Hills and Eve began her residency in
psychiatry at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center.

A few years later, they settled in Hillcrest. Todd began learning at
Yeshiva Madreigas Ha’Adam and received Semicha in 2010. When
not learning, Todd is a senior IT Manager at Colony Capital. Eve
completed her residency in psychiatry and her fellowship in child
and adolescent psychiatry at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center,
winning the Faculty Prize for Clinical Excellence. She currently works
for the Arista Center for Psychotherapy and the Jewish Board of
Family and Children’s Services where she sees patients and, with a
concurrent appointment as Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry
at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons,
supervises residents studying psychiatry. She also maintains a private
practice at the Center for Healthy Minds in Cedarhurst.

Despite their busy schedules, Eve and Todd always find time to
help their shul, their yeshivas and their community. Todd gives
shiurim and is assistant Gabbai at Congregation Ohr Moshe, and was
instrumental in establishing the Avos U’Banim learning program on

SEVENTY-EIGHTH ANNIVERSARY DINNER

YESHIVA OF CENTRAL QUEENS

Motza’ei Shabbos at Yeshiva Madreigas Ha’Adam. Eve is an active
board member at the Yeshiva of Central Queens and a former vice
president of the Parent Teacher Organization.

The Sullivans are active at YCQ: participating in Sunday morning
learning, the Selichot program, and the Israel Day Parade. As Class
Mother Vice President for many years, Eve helped arrange collations
for the Siddur and Chumash plays and the Third Grade Melave Malka.
She also worked on the Chanukah Boutique and the Book Fair. Along
with the Sissers, Eve and Todd are helping to organize the new 5K Run/
Walk Campaign in memory of Michael Simanowitz a”h to support
YCQ and Avigdor’s Helping Hand.

Eve and Todd have four children. Their oldest, Leeba (’14), is a
graduate of Yeshiva University High School for Girls (Central) and is
presently studying in Israel at Michlelet Mevaseret Yerushalayim.
She will IY”H study at Stern College starting next year as a member
of the Honors Program. Yosef (’16) is a junior at MTA, where he is a
member of the hockey and tennis teams. Yosef is a talented trumpet
player. His trumpet playing began while spending many years in the
YCQ band. Rivka is currently in eighth grade at YCQ and is on the
winning debate team. She is participating in Names, Not Numbers
and Set3. She and her cousin Aaron won first place in the YCQ Science
Fair and went on to win first place at the Inter-Yeshiva Science Fair.
Sarah Leah is in fifth grade. She is an accomplished ice skater and
is part of the Mishmar program. She is an excellent student with
tremendous midot.

May the zechut of Eve and Todd’s devotion to their family and Yeshiva
bring them continued health, nachat and success.

Drs. Rachel & Joshua Sisser

Guests of Honor

Joshua and Rachel met at the Albert Einstein
College of Medicine during the first day of
orientation. They were married a year and a
half later. When they graduated from Einstein,
Joshua pursued a residency in anesthesiology
at the Montefiore Medical Center and Rachel
began her residency in pediatrics at SUNY
Downstate, culminating with her being
selected as Chief Resident in Pediatrics. When they finished their
residencies, Josh became an anesthesiologist at Huntington Hospital and
Rachel became a pediatrician with ODA, a well-known medical center
in Williamsburg. Their residencies completed, they moved to Hillcrest,
where Josh’s sister and brother-in-law, Eve and Todd Sullivan, were
already living. On almost every Shabbos, the Sisser home is filled with
numerous children and adults enjoying the Sissers’ amazing hospitality.
The Sissers are very active in their shul, Congregation Ohr Moshe, which
honored the couple several years ago.
Josh grew up in the Young Israel of Forest Hills, where his grandparents
were founding members and where his parents, Arthur and Fern Sisser,
still daven. Josh attended MTA and Yeshiva Kerem B’Yavneh in Israel,
and is a summa cum laude graduate of Yeshiva University, where he was
named the Most Outstanding Scholar-Athlete of his graduating class.
Rachel was born the fourth of eight children to her parents Yakov and
Malke Bakst in Detroit and was raised in Israel until the age of 10. Her
family then moved to Chicago, where she completed her high school
and college education. She graduated from Loyola University summa
cum laude and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
Rachel’s maternal grandfather was Rabbi Aaron Moshe Rine zt”l, the

prominent Rav for many years of Congregation Beth Itzchok in Chicago,
and her paternal great uncle was Rabbi Aryeh Leib Bakst zt”l, Rosh
HaYeshiva of Yeshiva Gedolah Ateres Mordechai of Detroit.
Both Josh and Rachel have been active in the Yeshiva since their
children started at YCQ. They participate in a wide range of activities
including Sunday morning learning, the Selichot program, and the
Israel Day Parade. They have been involved with setting up Siddur and
Chumash play collations, as well as chaperoning class trips. Rachel has
given talks about medicine to the children of YCQ. Josh donates Giants
football tickets to YCQ’s PTO Auction. The Sissers are big boosters for
their children, attending all of their sports and academic activities.
Rachel is an active board member of the Yeshiva, and has been involved
in developing new school projects such as the Grandparents’ Club and
Parnes HaYom. The Sissers, along with the Sullivans, are launching
a most exciting 5K Run/Walk Campaign in memory of Michael
Simanowitz a”h in support of the Yeshiva and Avigdor’s Helping Hand.
All the Sisser children excel in their studies and are very popular among
their friends. Aaron, an eighth grader, has won many competitions
such as the school-wide Spelling Bee while only in the fifth grade, as
well as first place in the YCQ Science Fair. He is also on the Debate Team,
which has achieved first place. He attends enrichment Mishnayot, is
Gabbai in the Yeshiva Minyan and is Captain of the YCQ Hockey team.
Rebecca is in the fifth grade. She is an avid athlete, plays all sports,
and excels in both gymnastics and basketball as well as in her studies.
Sophie is currently in the second grade. She is loved by all her teachers
and classmates and plays violin in the YCQ band.
The Yeshiva of Central Queens is truly privileged to pay tribute to this
most delightful couple, and extends best wishes for continued health
and nachat.

Rabbi Moshe Hamel

Educator Award

The Torah tells us that Hashem appointed
Moshe Rabbeinu as the leader of Klal Yisrael,
having seen how compassionately he cared
for each of Yitro’s sheep.
Rabbi Moshe Hamel, the mechanech par
excellence whom we honor tonight, has the
same noble qualifications as his namesake
Moshe Rabbeinu. Paying individual attention
to each student, Rabbi Hamel is continuously seeking to provide each
one with the background and self confidence needed to maximize his
or her achievements as a Ben or Bat Torah.
The son of the well-known attorney and community askan Rabbi
Bernard D. Hamel, Rabbi Moshe Hamel learned from an early age that
the purpose of life in this world is to do for others.
Receiving his early Torah education at Yeshiva Tiferes Elimelech,
Mesivta Torah Temimah, and Yeshiva Tiferes Boruch of Springfield,
NJ, Rabbi Hamel spent seven years from 1992 to 1999 at the famed
Mir Yeshiva in Jerusalem, during which time he received semicha, and
completed a highly intensive two-year training course in education and
kiruv. From 1997 to 1998, Rabbi Hamel taught classes in advanced
Talmud at the Mir Yeshiva.
Back in the United States, Rabbi Hamel pursued a masters of education
degree at Fordham University. After a stint with the Jewish Education
Program of Long Island in 2000, Rabbi Hamel was engaged as a rebbe
at Yeshiva of Central Queens, where he established an outstanding
reputation for his untiring devotion to his talmidim, and for his creative
and administrative capabilities. This resulted in his being appointed

SEVENTY-EIGHTH ANNIVERSARY DINNER

YESHIVA OF CENTRAL QUEENS

Assistant Principal for Judaic Studies in YCQ’s Junior High School in
2011. In this position, Rabbi Hamel has translated his research and
experience into sharpening the skills of the students in the areas of
Hebrew reading and understanding the mechanics of the study of
Gemara. But most importantly, he has worked with the faculty to help
the students experience the adventure and joy of Torah study and
living a life of mitzvot and midot tovot. Many students have, over the
years, developed a special kesher with Rabbi Hamel, who continues to
guide and mentor them.
Rabbi Hamel is very proud of all the students who have been victorious
in the various inter-yeshiva competitions in Tanach and other subjects.
In his additional position as Director of Student Activities, Rabbi Hamel
is in charge of the exciting enrichment and extra-curricular activities
which the students enjoy at YCQ.
In the summer, Rabbi Hamel heads three day camps in Brooklyn,
accommodating hundreds of campers. His volunteer activities include
serving as a coordinator of Chaverim of the Five Towns for the past
fifteen years, and as an EMT with Hatzolah for the past ten years. Rabbi
Hamel is a consummate baal tefilla and davens on yomim noraim at
Congregation Yagdil Torah of Woodmere. Despite such a rigorous
schedule, Rabbi Hamel is a caring husband to his wife Etty and loving
father to his children.
May Hashem bless him and his family with continued good health,
nachas and success.

Randi Beeber Luxenberg ‘73

Distinguished Alumna Award

We are pleased to pay tribute to one of the
most active and distinguished alumni in the history
of our Yeshiva, Mrs. Randi (Beeber) Luxenberg. As a
graduate of the class of ’73, she has mobilized many
of the members of her alma mater to remain active as
friends, and as friends of the Yeshiva.
Randi Luxenberg was raised in Hillcrest, NY,
the daughter of Evelyn and Bernard Beeber, z”l. From
an early age, family, chesed and communal leadership
were staples of Randi’s life. She attended Yeshiva of Central Queens (YCQ)
as a scholarship student, Yeshiva University High School for Girls (Central),
and, for her last year of high school, completed a joint program with Stern
College and Machon Gold in Israel. She graduated cum laude from Queens
College with a major in computer science and a minor in mathematics, and
later attended Baruch College taking MBA courses in finance and accounting.
While attending school, Randi worked as a research assistant for several
professors on research projects relating to information technology. She
ultimately began her career in it in September, 1981. Her first job was with
Boeing Computer Services, followed by American Management Systems,
Chase Manhattan Bank, and, finally, a high-level position at First Boston
Corporation as Assistant Vice President for Information Technology.

In 1984, Randi married Arthur Luxenberg, who graduated from
Cardozo Law School and now serves as a founding partner in the law firm of
Weitz and Luxenberg. The couple lived in Forest Hills for five years before
moving to Great Neck. Once in Great Neck, the Luxenbergs developed a
strong relationship with Rabbi Yaakov and Abby Lerner and became active
members of the Young Israel of Great Neck where they were major donors
to the shul’s expansion project. Spending their summers in the Hamptons,
they became active members and supporters of the Hamptons Synagogue
under the leadership of Rabbi Marc Schneier.

Arthur and Randi are major supporters of Colel Chabad where Arthur
is the chairman of the United Soup Kitchens of Israel. They are also active
sponsors of the welcome center opposite the Kotel in Jerusalem.

Randi and Arthur have been integrally involved in the North Shore
Hebrew Academy (NSHA), where their children, Elizabeth and Jacqueline,
attended lower and high-school. Arthur served as lower school president for

SEVENTY-EIGHTH ANNIVERSARY DINNER

YESHIVA OF CENTRAL QUEENS
many years. They are among the founding families of the high school. Randi
has worked on various projects for the NSHA PTA, and hosted their welcome
night for new parents in the Luxenberg home.

In 2013, Randi began her involvement with Shaare Zedek Medical
Center, at which time she was asked to chair an event called Women’s Health
Day, and continued to do so with increased responsibility in each passing year
through March, 2018. She practically single-handedly helped transform the
event into one of the most dynamic, thought-provoking, sophisticated and
well-attended events of the year. Randi currently serves on the Women's
Division Board, a position to which she has brought much flair, creativity and
passion. Based on her work ethic, charismatic manner, incredible attention
to detail, and passion for every project in which she becomes involved, Randi
was recognized by Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem, and received
the most prestigious honor at the Shaare Zedek dinner in 2017; the Heart of
Jerusalem Award, as the main dinner honoree.

Randi and Arthur are the proud parents of two beautiful daughters;
Elizabeth, married to Steven Lipner, parents of their brand new grandson,
Bradley Abraham; and Jacqueline, married to Jonathan Spiegel. Following
in their parents’ footsteps, (also marrying guys from Woodmere like their
mom), Elizabeth and Jacqueline planned, organized and hosted a Sisters
Seize Hunger event, selling baked goods to support the Daniella Moffson
Foundation. Elizabeth graduated from NYC Gallatin, and will begin Fordham
Law School next fall, while she deferred one year to care for new baby
Bradley! Steven received his MBA from Wharton, and is currently working at
Microsoft Inc. Jacqueline graduated from the New School, with a semester

Dear Friends,

It is with great pleasure that I convey my warmest greetings and heartfelt congratulations to the Yeshiva of Central Queens (YCQ) on
the occasion of your 78th Anniversary Scholarship Dinner. I am honored to join you on this day as you celebrate at the Old Westbury
Hebrew Congregation in Old Westbury New York.

Since its inception in 1940, the Yeshiva of Central Queens has become an invaluable source for Jewish education. Your organization
encourages involvement within the Jewish community and active participation, making a meaningful contribution to the community
throughout and beyond Queens. With a rich curriculum, extra curricular activities, the after school program and the New Student
mentorship program; it is an effective advocate for the education of generations based on character, morals, self esteem and personal
integrity. Your organization’s ability to strengthen the relationship between home and school, cultivate a desire for knowledge and love
for a Torah way of life, while encouraging the potential of each child and promoting mutual respect between students is admirable.

In my capacity as a Member of the Assembly, I am proud to say that my district is home to a thriving Jewish community. Your
commitment to the development of future leaders deserves our highest respect and gratitude. As such, I am privileged to recognize your
honorees: Educator Award recipient: Rabbi Moshe Hamel, Alumni Award recipient: Randi Beeber; Dr. Eve and Rabbit Todd Sullivan,
Drs. Rachel and Joshua Sisser.

I look forward to continuing to work with the Yeshiva of Central Queens to address the issues and concerns facing the Jewish
community in Queens and throughout New York State.

Sincerely,

“You shall teach them (mitzvot) diligently to your children” (Devarim 6:7)

Dearest Randi,
All of life is really a circle.
What you invest in a relationship – whether it be with a person, an institution
or an ideal, always comes back to you in ways you would have never imagined –
especially when you diligently cultivate it with caring and compassion.
When we met over three decades ago I knew instinctively that you were the
person I wanted to build a home with, and while I couldn’t fully articulate that
emotion back then, I can surely do so now.
One of those reasons is personified by your honor tonight, as it highlights how
important Jewish education, and specifically YCQ has been in your life and how
you value what the Yeshiva has done for you. It literally provided you with a
roadmap to create a Jewish life of meaning and purpose.
This foundation in Torah and scholarship has served as an everlasting example
to our kids for what should be central in their lives, and for the next generation
– and it dramatically sanctifies the memories of Mom and Dad, who were so
grateful for your having a YCQ education.
I’m sure you never imagined when you were a teenager at YCQ that years later
you would be a dinner honoree. How amazing is that?
We are all grateful to YCQ for the woman, wife, mother and grandmother you
have become, as we love and cherish you in more ways than we can say.
Keep on striving to help so many worthwhile causes, and Mazal Tov from the
bottom of my heart.

All my love,
Arthur

Mazel Tov to Mommy and Tatty!

We are so proud of you and can’t think of anyone better deserving of
this honor.
Whether you are organizing carpools, helping with homework,
constantly encouraging us and being invested in our education, or supporting
the various extracurricular activities we participate in, you have always been
our biggest fans. We really don’t know how you do it all while simultaneously
being involved in each of your demanding careers. Thank you for being the
best role models we could ask for. Your involvement in our community,
schools, families and, most importantly, Yiddishkeit is inspirational. We were
really blessed with the greatest parents in the world.
Mommy, thank you for showing us how important our education is and
constantly motivating us to try our absolute best. You somehow manage to do
this while also showing us that we should never have to compromise our Jewish
values no matter what or where we choose to study.
Tatty, thank you for instilling in us a love for Torah learning. No matter
how late or inconvenient it is, you will always be happy to learn with each of
us, even though we know it is not an easy process. Thank you for the endless
hours of homework help and always listening to our stories from school.
Thank you both so much for really being pillars of the community, but
somehow still managing to find time to make each one of us feel so special.
We love you so much and are so happy to be a part of this simcha.
Thank you to YCQ for giving our parents this tremendous honor. We
cannot think of anyone better suited for it. Additionally, thank you for the
education and values that you have instilled in each one of us. For those of us
who have already moved on from YCQ, we can really see what an excellent
foundation YCQ has given us. You gave us a great education and a love and
thirst for Torah.
Rachel and Josh, Mazel Tov! We are so happy that our parents can
share this honor and simcha with your family. Thank you for being the best
aunt and uncle. We are extremely happy and fortunate that we are all so close
and really feel that your house is our second home. Thank you for always
making us so comfortable. Throughout the years we have watched your family
grow and seen what amazing parents you are. You are fantastic role models!
We love you so much! Mazel Tov!

Dear Randi,
When we all started this journey together

create a platform that would not only enable us to

do good things for ourselves and our families,
but for the world around us.

Thankfully, and incredibly, it all came to fruition,
and your YCQ honor tonight is one more eloquent

chapter in our personal Book of Life.
You never forgot your roots and the people and
institutions who made you who you are today,
