PMG Charitable & Green

PMG Charitable & Green

Keywords: Charitable & Green

Our
environmental
promise.

We are passionately committed to environmental sustainability, tirelessly
working to reduce our carbon footprint and investing in greener alternative
technologies wherever possible, the most notable being our solar powered
Bury St Edmunds headquarters. By taking this proactive approach, we can help
you meet your own environmental pledges and carbon reduction goals without
increasing the cost or reducing the effectiveness of your marketing operations.

We have renewed our lighting to lower power LEDs, our print presses use vegetable
based inks. Stock papers are sourced via the FSC or PEFC Carbon Schemes. We
recycle all surplus plastic, cardboard and paper. Waste energy produced by our
compressors is used to heat the building. Proactive supply chain shortening has
allowed us to further reduce our carbon footprint.

Green print
& production.

Our print and production processes are solar powered
and use minimal water!

As part of our ongoing commitment to the environment
our print press uses entirely vegetable based inks.
Petroleum-based inks emit approximately 25% to 40% of
VOCs when they dry, our brand of ink is releasing none at all.

The inks are created from the oils you would find in vegetables
such as soybeans, linseed, canola, and safflower. Using solely
vegetable based inks instead of oil based pigmented inks
allows the printing press to use NON HAZARDOUS fluids to
clean the printing rollers.

Our stock papers are certified under either the FSC or PEFC scheme and
purchased via the Woodland Trust Carbon Scheme and we are converting our
clients to a mailing film that is potato starch based, this can be recycled in a
home compost bin.

Accredited with Suffolk
Carbon Charter Gold Award.

What a thrill to get recognition for running our business sustainably.
With our carbon footprint calculated we now have a full environmental
action plan in place to reduce it further.
