Tales of the Noble Heart

19 Stories by the Electric Hearts

0

Dear Reader,
We were inspired by the heart to write these stories. We

were first inspired by the question“Is your heart a tool for
building peace?”We have been studying the heart for the whole
school year- and it’s relationship to peace, mindfulness, empathy,
and the brain. We have read so many books about the heart and
feelings that have touched our hearts and energized our thinking.

There are 19 stories in this book, and they are all by our First
Grade class, The Electric Hearts. A few months we learned that
the heart has electricity and this really made us excited and it
gave us our class name.

Many of our heart stories are about people who lost their
hearts and found their hearts. Some are about the brain and
mind competing. Some stories are about people or animals who
live in our heart.

We took a long time to make these. We started in 2015 and
we kept working on and on until we were finally all done with
everything on March 11, 2016. We had to make a clear beginning,
middle, and end. Then we had to work on the spelling and then
our teachers typed it up. We did the illustrations next. We also
had to work on our own individual books. We did final drafts of
our authors pages and also the covers. It was so much work!!!!!!
We worked really hard and we finally made it!

We hope you are inspired by the heart too! It’s been so fun
making these stories to share with you. We hope you like this
book and take good care of it. Most of all we hope that the force
is with you and that you have fun reading this book.

Love,

The Electric Hearts

The Girl That Had No Heart by Abby Wilson

There was a girl that was eight. Her name was Kate. She was an
ice skater and she had no parents. She lived in Astoria and she
had no feelings. She had no feelings because her heart did not
like her. Her heart did not like her because she had no feelings.

One day her heart decided to leave and so he did. The heart left
because the heart did not think the girl needed him. Meanwhile
the girl wondered why she was so bad at ice skating. Normally
she was great. Then all of the sudden she realized her heart was
gone!

She ran back home and she waited and waited for her heart to
come back. The heart noticed that the girl was coming down so
the heart came back. The girl had feelings now, and they lived
happily ever after.

The End

The Rainbow Rock by Amélie Luyties

I am at Antartica. I am the life guard dragon and I am going
fishing. I like to eat penguins and fish. The baby dragons are with
the trainers. The baby dragons are learning how to fly.
Then I hear banging. I think it's conveyer belts and it is. A
dragon's worst nightmare!
“Everybody fly! Someone needs to find love powers”, said the
trainer.
“I will,” I said.
“But you have to cross the shaking bridge and the shaking
volcano. Oh no, we forgot the keys!” said the trainer.
“Is it the main key?” I said.
“Yes,” said the trainer.
“We need to save the key with love powers and the castle,” I said.

BOOM BOOM

“You have to go!” said the trainer.
“I love my job,” I said. “I have two heads, I can breathe ice. This is
fun. I like to fly. I need to cross the atlantic dragon.
“Oh no! The shaking volcano is about to erupt! I need to cross the
eating brain. It’s a giant mountain and it has a giant mouth and it
eats you!
“My wings are getting tired. I will grab a feather.
“I made it to love powers!
“Now I need to find it. I need to look in rocks. Maybe it's in a
rainbow rock.”
Something is glowing.I stopped to look there.
It is love powers! It was a rainbow crystal heart, small and
powdery.
I put it in my bag and it was powdery in my bag so I put plastic
around it.

“I need to find my way home,” I said.
“I need to cross the shaking bridge and the shaking volcano and
the eating brain and the desert.”
I am crossing the shaking volcano. I am crossing the second thing
on my list. I am home! I will sprinkle love powers on the bad guys.
I love it- an electric heart is on the dragons’. The baby dragons
are grown up and we are safe. We are going. It is time for bed.
We had a long day.
“No, we are going to the movies.” said the trainer.
“I love the movies.” said the other dragons.
“If we are going to the movies, I am happy. If you are happy, I am
happy.” said the other dragons.
“Can we go now?” said the trainer.
“Yes. We can. The movie is over. We are safe and happy. It is
time for bed.” I said.
“Love powers saved the day!” said the other dragons.

The Story of my Grandpa by Anna Zupan

Once when I was four, I had a funny grandpa. His name was Papa
John. He loved to read me books and drive his cool motorcycle.
Sometimes he went on walks with me. It was fun. Papa John was
my dad’s dad. He came from Croatia.

He sold watermelons outside his parent's home. He started
working at grocery stores at the age of 16. He started the Zupan
stores at 30. One day he was on his motorcycle and a big car ran
into him. He is not living anymore. I am very sad. Again, I was only
four when it happened so I don’t remember too well. My mom
and dad came and told me. The funeral was in Washington.

10

So we do an amazing golf tournament to remember him. A lot of
my dads friends come plus me. I’m so excited to go. There is a
real helicopter and I got to fly it. We also do things in the stores
to remember him. Even if he did die, I still love him.

The Mystery Of The Heart by Blake Hardy

Once there was a heart that was named David. David lived in a
human kid named Jake. David had two best best friends- it was
Tommy, the red blood cell, and Lucas, the brain. One day Lucas,
David, and Tommy had a playdate in Jake’s body.

At the playdate, they were watching a movie. The movie was
called “Friends Forever”. After the movie, they went to bed.

12

The next day, Jake was riding his bike at Southwest Avenue Park.
A couple minutes later, Jake fell off his bike and he was
screaming and crying so Jake called the ambulance. He broke his
leg. He had surgery and Tommy the blood cell got lost. David, the
heart, was injured. So Lucas went alone to find Tommy the blood
cell. The next day, Lucas went through all the veins in Jake's body
but Tommy wasn’t there. So next Lucas went back to the head.

13

To his surprise, there was Tommy, very sick, but he looked like he
would live. They brought Tommy to the heart. So the heart
thanked Lucas and fixed Tommy and everything was back to
normal again.

The Runaway Dog by Cassidy Paulson

Chapter 1 The Runaway Dog
Ah! Lily the dog just woke up from a nightmare. It was about her
turning good. Lily is a dog, she lives in london, she lives in a small
cottage, there is barely anything in the cottage and the walls
were cracked. Lilly’s owner, Willa Madagascar was very mean,
partly because her last name was madagascar and partly
because their house was cracked. So of course she treated
everybody meanly, especially her dog Lilly. So since she treated
lilly so meanly guess who was almost as mean as Willa is? I will
give you a hint, ruff! Lilly. Wait I forgot something about Willa.
Another reason why she treated everybody so meanly was
because her mother treated her really meanly when she was a
kid. So Willa treated Lilly meanly and so now Lilly is really mean.
Okay now I think I want to go back to the story. Lilly goes on a

15

walk once a day. The surprising thing is she is very well behaved
on walks.

Today Willa took her on a walk in the morning. Lilly was well
behaved in the first part of the walk but in the middle of the walk
she smelled a bone. She started to pull on the leash, then she
realized she could chew the leash and she started to chew. And
finally she broke through. Then slowly and stealthily so Willa
couldn’t hear her she walked away then finally she started to run.

16

Chapter 2 The Awesome Heart
Finally she started to walk then she stopped. She had found what
she had been looking for, it was a bone. A red and blue circle was
next to it, no it wasn’t a red and blue circle, it had a few chunks
missing from it. Could it be? Yes it was, it was, a heart! Lilly
bounded towards the bone but the heart got there first.
“I will not let you have the bone until you prove that you will be
good for the rest of your life,” said the heart. And anyway think
about how good you used to be, and the only reason you
changed was because somebody was mean to you for a long
time. The argued for hours and finally lilly gave up.
“Okay, how do I turn from being bad to good?” asked Lilly.
“Just take a bite out of me,” said the heart. And Lilly did.
Suddenly Lilly started to feel her heart lift. All her friends who she
used to be friends with ran out calling “Yay! Lilly is good again!
Yay! Yay! Yay!”

There once was a dog.

The Broken Heart by Charlotte Gaston
There was a cat. He was nice. I loved him and we cuddled
together. His name was Ole and he was our family cat. He was
orange with white stripes like a tiger. He had a buddy that was a
real wild cat, her name was Kaley. Kaley is not so friendly
anymore because Ole is gone.
One day we had to put him down.
It was so sad when my dad came home. When I saw him in the
cat carrier I had a red face and a rain fell down my cheeks
because I knew that Ole was never coming back.

18

Well, yes it is a bit of love and well I did get a kitten years later,
named Shiloh. But he is different. He’s a black cat wearing
mittens.
Well they are the same because when my kitten is riled up, he
bites us just like Ole did. When Ole bit it hurt . One time when he
was a kitten he bit my parents, they were in a cot, a low bed.
Well, they said it hurt really bad. Well, that is the only thing that
is in common. So yes that is very sad that Ole died of sickness.
Yes it is sad that now Kaley, well, without Ole she is grumpy.
Well,if you make her scared she hisses. So yeah, do you know
what I am thinking? Our kitten is trying to make friends with her.
That is not working. This is how she sounds when she is scared,
“mroooooooowa” and Shiloh our kitten runs away afraid. There is
no pet that can replace him. I still remember him in my heart.

19

But when I think of him it makes me feel sad like darkness taking
over the light. I wonder if it’s also a bit of love? Like when you are
feeling sad maybe it comes from loving so much.

And he still is my favorite cat in the whole wide world. Well, when
I see him in pictures I want to cry but I stop myself in time. Well,
you are probably wondering is there happiness? That's well yes
there are happy parts. Yes, there is, that is what I am going to
say. When my cat Ole was with my old cat, Kaley, they were best
friends. When Kaley and Ole were together they would go on
dates and have a really fun time. Well yeah they were like
girlfriend and boyfriend. Yeah kind of funny ha ha ha ha. Well it is
really funny. Well let’s take one or two breaths to calm down. So
we love each other so much that I would hug him and kiss him
until the day was done. I love him so much. Oh yeah. I love Ole, he
is the best cat in the world. Ha ha the best cat in the world.Oh

20

yeah, the best cat in the world and Shilo our kitten is second on
the list.

Heart vs Brain by Claire Moran

“Let’s start the show! Lets learn about the heart and the rest of
the amazing body.
Like great blood vessels and wonderful arteries. Etcetera.”
“Ahhh! I can talk!” said the heart.
“Okay, okay, be calm, cool and collected,” the heart said to
himself.
“Oh no! I better go tell the others.”
“Hey, you can talk too!” the heart said to his friends.
“Ahh! We can,” they said.
“Is it okay?”
“Um, I don’t know” said the heart
“Oh- we have powers!. Yes, we do!” they said
“My power is to deliver blood” said Jimmy, the blood vessel
“Hey, that’s mine too” said the arteries
“And so is mine!” said Bob.
“Hey, heart- what’s your power?”
“I pump blood. Hey brain- I am more important than you!”
“No”
“Yes” “no” “yes” “no” “yes” “no” “yes” “no” “yes”

22

“STOOOOOOOOOOOOOP!!!!”

“Heart, you are still in training to pump blood”
“Brain- you just started training”
“Hey brain, I am sorry I said that to you”
“I am too,” said the brain.
So they hugged.
“Hey- do you want to be BFFs?” said Heart
“I would love to be BFFs,” said Brain
“So can you think of anything to do?”
“Sure- ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Let’s go to the
park!”

So they played and played and played and played for 100 hours.
And they lost track of time.
And then they wanted to go to the gift store.
They bought a watch each.
“Oh no! We lost track of time,”they said
“Lets run to the theater.”
“Hello, let's start the show and let’s learn about all the amazing
human body. So let's start with the heart.”

23

“Hi I am a heart. I pump blood and I help oxygen and carbon
dioxide flow in and out and the delivery system. and the
circulatory system. and my favorite thing in the body is the…”

“Aaachoo!”
“Aaaachoooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!”
“Uh oh- a germ, run!!!!!!!”
“No wait, I will find it, gotcha!
“Oh no, wait, you’re dead.”
“Three cheers for heart!”
“Yay yay yay! Now back to the show…”
“Now the lungs are very important, very important. You wouldn’t
be alive if your lungs didn’t have big sacks of air. “
“Yes carbon dioxide and oxygen is in what you inhale and exhale.
Inhale and exhale. Yes. Yes yes, perfect. Your lungs are just like a
big sack of air but not woven. And your lungs can help you calm
down when you feel angry or sad or smad.”

The Robot’s Heart by Cyrus Grover

Once upon a time in our moon there lived a robot heart. The
robot heart didn’t like cats and didn’t like bats too. He lived in a
home. His name is Max. He lived on the Moon. Max didn’t have
anybody. He eats eggs for breakfast. He eats eggs for lunch. He
eats eggs for dinner too. He thinks every day.

25

Next morning he heard a loud sound, a loud sound in the
distance. “What is it?” He thought and thought, and still he didn’t
know what it is. Next morning he went out of bed and ate
breakfast. He ate lunch too. He ate dinner too, then he went to
bed. Next morning he did the same thing as the day before.

26

The next morning the same loud sound came again. He
remembered the sound, still he didn’t know what it was. Suddenly
he saw a red thing. He knew what it was. It was a heart.

The Amazing
Football Heart by
Joseph Fenton

Once there was a
heart that was a
football player on
the Seattle
Seahawks. In the
N.F.C.
championships this
year it was the
Seattle Seahawks
versus the Green Bay Packers. The heart was excited that his
team had made it to the N.F.C. championship game. At halftime
the heart was wondering about if the Seattle Seahawks won,
they would play the A.F.C winner which was the broncos and that
was going to be very hard, but for some reason it made him have
more power when he was thinking about it.

After the game the Seahawks had won against the Packers, 24 to
10, and now it was time for Super Bowl 48, Seahawks vs. Broncos.
The Broncos were going to kick off to the Seahawks. The
Seahawks return was a 35 yard one and they were down at the
broncos 47. Hike!!! Russell Wilson stepped back, he threw down to
Jermain Kearse, and Kearse caught it, and now they were down
at the Bronco’s 24 in field goal range. Third down and two.

Russell Wilson snapped the ball. He handed it off to the heart.
The heart ran, but he only got one yard. It was time for Steven
Hauschka to kick a field goal. And the field goal was good but the
Broncos were still leading 14 to 3 at halftime.

28

In the middle of halftime
the heart was gone! In
the meantime Pete
Carroll started talking
about how we need the
heart to play. Then
Jermain Kearse said “We
need him as the fourth
wide receiver!” They
were worried.

Then Pete Carroll saw the
heart, then the other
players saw the heart,
then they were ready to play! So the offense got on the field, 1st
and 10 on their own 30 yard line with the Broncos on defense.

It is now the 3rd quarter. Seattle Seahawks were ready to hike
the ball, hike! Russell Wilson hands it off to the heart. The heart
ran but this time he got 15 yards which was a first down and five
more yards. And now they were down at the Broncos 15. But then
Russell Wilson hiked the ball when the Broncos were not ready
and it was called a false start.

The score is 14 to 3. It was time for the Seahawks to kick off to
the Broncos. Steven Hauschka kicked the ball. The Broncos
returned it and now they are down at their own 40 yard line. End
of the 3rd quarter, start of the 4th quarter.

Hike! Peyton Manning runs himself and gets the Broncos 6 yards.
Now they are down at their own 46. Second and 4. Peyton
Manning says “Hike!” He throws down to Demaryius Thomas.
Thomas caught it and they’re down at the Seahawks’ 35. Peyton

29

Manning said “hike” again. He throws down to Eric Decker,
Richard Sherman intercepts it and runs! He is running and he is
down right in the corner of the end zone. We will review this play
and this play is under review. And the call is overturned,
touchdown Seahawks! And now it is 17 to 14 Seahawks are now
winning. And that’s game the Seahawks win!

After the game Pete Carroll asked to the heart where he was at
halftime. The heart said he was just in the bathroom. Pete Carroll
was ashamed of himself that he didn’t look in the bathroom.

After that it was time for the post game. The next day, the heart
read the newspaper and it read “Here are the Seahawks
standings: Marshawn Lynch, 72
yards, 0 touchdowns, Jermain
Kearse, 84 yards, 1 touchdown,
Russell Wilson, 250 yards, two
touchdowns, Doug Baldwin, 32
yards, 0 touchdowns, Tyler Lockett,
22 yards, 0 touchdowns, Richard
Sherman, 95 yards, 1 interception, 1
touchdown. Here are the Bronco’s
standings: Peyton Manning, 125
yards, 1 touchdown, Eric Decker, 1
reception, 24 yards, 0 touchdowns, Demaryius Thomas, 3
receptions, 42 yards, 1 touchdown. The Broncos lead at halftime
but the surprising thing Seahawks come back and win, 17 to 14.
The heart was missing at halftime, but then Pete Carroll saw the
heart and they were ready to play, that’s when they came back.”
The heart was really happy and that is exactly what happened.
The heart and the Seattle Seahawks did lose the first game of
the next year but won the second. And I know it is hard to put a
happy ending to this story so I am going to call it. The End!

The Girl Who Has A Big Heart by Kiera Hicks

A girl named Lulu lived in a wonderland. It had details far and
wide. The wonderland was in the ground. It was big big big big
big big! It was huge and lovely. It had a swimming pool, flowers
that look like clouds, gallons of sweets, it was AWESOME! and a
fun place and a secret place.
“Wippee!” Lulu said. Lulu found a treasure box. Lulu found a key.
Lulu stuck it in and it opened automatically. Inside there was a
frame. It was placed perfectly in the treasure box, a picture of
the sky.

31

It was a little funny. It wasn’t the same as her sky. This made Lulu
excited. Her sky had no flappy things flying around. Lulu was
ready... or was she?
Lulu felt weird. “I feel like I’m missing something. Probably not”

“Okay- I must explore
and off she went. She
opened her front door.
Bang! The door shut.
Boom! The door
slammed shut.

“I can’t believe my eyes!
Oh- there’s flappy
things!”
Lulu heard somebody
say “Oh, look at the
birds!” and she pointed at the flappy things- they were the things
in the picture frame.
“So- they are birds, now I am learning! I will say ‘hi’ to my
neighbors.”

So than Lulu remembered she had no neighbors in her world. But
this world was different. I will say hello, she thought.
Lulu got to the first house and Lulu knocked. The door opened-
“Hello!” Lulu said cheerfully with her heart beaming.
“Hello! What are you doing at my home? You have a big heart,
you know?”
“Ah, no”
“Well you do! I can feel it in my heart. You look cold, come in and
have some cocoa.”
“Oh, thank you. This place is different than my home. Our home is
different.” said Lulu.

32

“Oops I am going to say things in my head (because in my world
it is different). Everyone is different than me! Now I must go.
Bye!”
She looked at her watch, she had run out of time and she drank
her hot cocoa and left.

Lulu was going home. “I can’t open my door!” She was still in the
other world.

People came running towards Lulu and wailing, “You are famous
on TV!”
“You have such a big heart!”
She heard somebody say “Let’s celebrate!”
They put music and danced. When the party was done she found
a key on the ground next to where she was dancing and stuck it
into her hole.
It opened. She slid down the hole and back into her world where
she sat down and had her own cocoa with her big heart.
“I had a good day”, Lulu said.

The End!

The Girl That Dies in Ten Days by Lincoln Keizer
Once there was a girl. Her name was Caroline. She had long hair
and she was good at sports. Her favorite sport was football. She
even takes football class! And she was made out of china! But she
had no heart. And there is a problem. But no one could help
Caroline. But no one knew what it was.

34

So they had to research and read thousands of books. They
guessed what it was and they looked it up on the computer. But
they still couldn’t figure it out. So they brought in a scientist. But
he still couldn’t figure it out. So they brought in more and more
scientists. Then before they knew it, she was gone. So then it was
a bigger problem. The two problems were: she had no heart. The
second one was: she was gone! So they sent a rocket up to find
her.

35

The scientist did not come back from their vacation until ten
weeks. But that didn’t work. So they finally found out. They found
out that she is going to die in ten days. Oh no! But they found her
the next day. Then the scientist figured out that she had no heart.
The scientists decided to give her a heart to save her life. Then
she lived for a long time.
The End

Bird Minus Witch Equals Heart by Ruby Halpin

Once upon a time a bird lived on Mars. He was an alien. He liked
his friends, but something was missing. He wasn’t loved. The bird
said “I need a heart. But where will I get a heart? I do not know
where I will get a heart. I will ask Pie my friend. He lives with me
on Mars. I will go find him on Mars.” He is not there at Mars.

“I will go somewhere else to find the heart,” said the bird. “I will
go!”
“But wait, I am going to tell you my friends names. There is Pie,
and Sniffles, and Grasshopper. Will you let me tell you what I
am?” said the bird. “I am a pterodactyl. Wait, but do I have a
heart? I need to find out, but I don’t want to give the mystery
away. How will I keep it to myself?

37

I will ask around. I will ask Grasshopper, where is he? I live on
Mars. I will ask Sniffles about the heart. Okay now I will go to
solve my secret mission with Sniffles. Sniffles and I will solve the
mystery. I will go find him on Mars. Okay let me take a breath.”
MMMMMM Haaaaa MMMMMM Haaaaaaa.
“Okay, okay, now I am ready. Let’s go find Big, Black Witch. You
see that was a lot to myself. I will go by myself to find Big, Black
Witch, alone! But I have no idea of where Big, Black Witch is, but I
will look. Okay I will go on my journey to find if I have a heart.
Let’s go to find Big, Black Witch! This is my only time meeting Big,
Black Witch. I am scared of Big, Black Witch you see I forgot. Do
you want me to tell you how old I am? Let’s see I am… Ah yes, 10.
Let me go to find Big, Black Witch. I see her planet ahead, but
what do I do? I guess I talk.”

38

“What if the witch is scary? But what do I say? Big, Black Witch
will you tell me if I have a heart?”
The witch didn’t respond. Again, the bird said louder “Do I have a
heart?”
The witch did not respond.
The bird was disappointed, why didn’t the witch respond?
“You do!” said the witch in a gravely voice. The bird felt happy.

The bird flew all the way home. She was hoping that Pie was
home so she could share her good news. Everyone came out of
their craters. Bird could not believe her eyes when she say Pie
come out of his crater. She felt her new found heart beating. The
bird said, “The witch said I have a heart!”

They had a huge party. They drank worm juice and danced and
they ate worms.
The End.

The Galactic Pie by Sal Buonincontro

In a galaxy far away lived a pie on Mars. He was chilling at the
beach until, BOOM!His planet blew up! While he got into his car,
BOOM!
“Quick!” he said and he blasted off. “Oh no! My car ran out of gas.
AAAH!” He is falling to Earth.

40

He has landed and is
scared. He got out of the
car. Shivering, he said
“Hello?” He landed in
Texas in the middle of the
desert. He yelled “Help!”
Someone yelled back. He
saw a shadow in the
distance. That someone
was… Bob.

Bob said “Hello.” and says
“Yummy!” and tries to eat him. Bob
is a scientist and Bob does an
experiment on him and they
figured out that he had powers. He
tells Bob that he was an alien and
he said “Whaaa?”

41

“Yes,” he said “and
my heart is made up
of bits of the universe
and the galaxy and I
need help to go back
home and my heart
will help!”

They found a way to get him
back home, but it took a long
time. His heart was everything
he needed all along and he
blasted off.

The Lizard that had No Heart by Séamus Burke

Once there was a green lizard named Flash that had no
thumping heart and before he lived in the garden. He didn’t know
that he didn’t have a heart. But he couldn’t really understand
what was bad. But then he didn’t know what to really think or
what to really even do and he played with a scientist. So one day
he ran away on grass and brought food and water and forgot
about everything and anything he knew about before. He tried to
remember but he couldn’t and then he wondered what he had
seen.

43

So he ran toward it, and it seemed like a million miles away, but it
was only one mile. When he finally got there he saw his heart, but
the heart ran away. He tried to catch it but it was too fast. So he
had to stay in the small garden of the hearts. And every time he
tried to get out he couldn’t get out because he had no heart. And
one day his heart came back. He would not stop chasing it. He
thought they went around the garden a million times, but it was
only really just ten times. And a racoon-mole was chasing his
heart and it ran into a bunch of snakes.

The lizard finally caught it. But then it jumped on his head and
jumped into outer space. It lived on the moon for a year. Then it
came back down and the lizard caught it and they had a party.
The heart had to go in a jar because the lizard didn’t want his
heart to escape again. At the end of the party they got the heart
and they went to bed. Then they woke up.
The End, and then they went home.

The Hamster In My Heart by Sicily Gratteri
This is a true story about my heart. I love Fluffy so much, I miss
her too. None of my other hamsters replaced her. I love Fluffy so
much, I miss her too. She is a hamster. She was so cute. She was
brown and white. She had brown eyes too. She would never bite
me yay! She was the best. My cousin would come and we would
make her a house and Fluffy loved it.

46

She died by escaping out of a window. And she died. But I will
always love her. And Lila and Ruby, even though Ruby bit me and
was mean. But I will always love all three of them. Even Ruby, I
don’t care if she bit me and that she had red eyes. But I will
always love her and she will always be the best. And Fluffy and
Ruby and Lila were all the best hamsters ever, ever!

47

I love them all. Fluffy, Ruby, and Lila- all of you will be in my heart.
I will always love all of you. All of you were the best hamsters
ever. I love you all Fluffy, Ruby, and Lila.

The Heart, The Brain, and Tacos by Taylor DuBose

The brain and the heart went for a walk in the park because they
are friends. They like to eat tacos together. They like to go for
walks in the park together. They were holding hands on a sunny
day. They got in a fight. The brain thought that thinking is more
important, the heart thinks feelings are more important. The
heart got so mad he ran out of electricity.
