Read the passage. Answer the question that follows.

Noise pollution is a form and level of environment sound that generally
considered likely to annoy, distract or even harm other people. Do you know
that the highest level of noise in Malaysia is the noise of the traffic?

Traffic noise is produced by the flow of vehicles on the roads. With
more and more vehicles on the roads nowadays, traffic noise affects people
living in the cities. Many factors influence the amount of noise from vehicles.
These include the size of the vehicles, the type of road and the road surface
they are driven on, the speed of the vehicles, the number and type of
buildings along the road and even the climate.

Among all vehicles, motorcycles are considered the main sources of
noise pollution from vehicles. Motorcycles make up more than 40 per cent
of the total number of vehicles in the country. Trucks also are noisy. Cars
may not be as noisy as trucks but they too are sources of noise pollution.
This is due to fact that there are more cars on the roads than trucks.

Noise can lead to disturbances and irritation. When there is too much
noise, we cannot concentrate on what we are doing. Noise pollution can
also affect our health such as hearing loss, headaches, sleep problems and
stress.
