AMY timber products. All contributions given have indeed been

highly appreciated.
AP2242A
A debt of gratitude is also owed to Puan Hazwani for

BQS452 letting us understand the ways to make an infographic

handbook about the topic given to us. We were given an

unlimited number of examples in order to ensure that we

understood what we needed to know in order to complete

this assignment, which is an infographic handbook.

Next, i would like to thank Malaysia Timber Council

Timber is a low-carbon alternative to materials such as plastic, concrete and

steel. These materials demand a lot of energy to make and emit a lot of
carbon dioxide when they do. Timber production and processing, on the other

hand, are extremely energy efficient.

Timber is categorised as softwood or hardwood depending on

the kind of tree harvested. There are several exceptions to the rule that
hardwood timber is denser than softwood timber.

Coniferous trees such as pine, fir, spruce, and larch are used to make
softwoods. It takes approximately 40 years for these trees to develop before

they can be harvested.

GROUP 2

TIMBER
(TIMBER
PRODUCT) Broadleaf trees such as oak, ash, and beech are used to make hardwoods.

These trees grow much more slowly, often taking up to 150 years before they
are ready to harvest.

In this handbook, we will focus on the timber product. Timber

product that will be mention in this handbook is

1. timber door
2. hardwood flooring

3. picture frame.

exterior door, whereas Figure 2 depicts a timber door used as

an interior door.

As we all know, the characteristics of interior doors differ

significantly from the characteristics of exterior doors. This is

due to the fact that it is influenced by a variety of factors

such as location , function, and attractive appearance in

relation to the surrounding conditions. The characteristics

Timber is a naturally occurring material. It's been
around for a long time. Excellent outcomes can be
achieved by careful application and comprehension

of the material. Timber is a valuable natural
resource that is used as a building material, paper

manufacture, and specialist wood goods like
100%
furniture, flooring and many more. Usually, timber is
chosen for its aesthetic appeal rather than its use.
