Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum. I have been an active researcher since 2010 and have published a number of papers in the field of HCI. Feel free to drop me an email at mfaizuddin [at] unikl. edu.my to discuss about academic matters, PhD positions, research collaboration, consultation or organising a group ride. RESEARCH AREAS . I am primarily interested in solving complex inferential HCI problems involving large high-dimensional data using machine learning techniques, possibly in real-time. My current research revolves around the use of sensor data, particularly from wearables, smartphones, internet-of-things (IoT) and prototype sensing devices to model and infer human interactions implicitly. The end goal is to establish transparent interactions techniques that can be used to improve the quality and subsequently enhance standard human-device interactions. 1. M.F.
