Also in May, chapter president, Michael Wynn, attended the Wisconsin Federation
Convention in Eau Claire. It was interesting to get a different take on a Federation
convention. He was able to bring back new ideas on hosting a convention and made
contact with other chapters for possible future combined events.
This summer the chapter held their “Almost” Annual Garage Sale at the home of
chapter president Michael Wynn in Beach Park IL. This two weekend/four day sale
was made possible with chapter members providing the donations; setting up the
items; and volunteering to work the days of the sale. The sale raised nearly $ 700.00
for our membership recognition program.
In July the chapter held their annual chapter picnic at the Van Patten Woods Forest
Preserve in Wadsworth IL. A near record crowd was in attendance including mem-
