the term ‘goldilocks zone’ (also called

of a planet where it is neither too hot nor

book, ‘How to Get into Your Goldilocks Zone: 5 Steps to
Make the Best of Your Life on This Planet’, where he used
the term as a metaphor to talk about how people should
be operating in their “goldilocks zone”.

In a conversation with BW Businessworld, the author
shared the thought behind the book, what well-being
meant, and the kind of impact he aimed to create through
this book.

Getting Into Goldilocks Zone
Chowdhry identified five steps through which one can get
into their goldilocks zone. These included having certain
principles in life, identifying one’s purpose and what
people are passionate about, identifying the skills that
are required to fulfil that passion and finally the strategy
to implement these four elements.

“I think in life, it is very important, apart from doing what
we are doing to morally raise our benchmark and go to
the next level of what we are as human beings. Then the
implementation is important because a lot of times we
have moments of what we want to do, what we don’t want
to do but then we don’t take the time off to put a proper
plan in place,” Chowdhry said. “To me, the strategy bit is
really about getting down to putting an action plan and
implementing it.”

Creating A Bucket List

In his book, Chowdhry wrote about creating an imaginary

bucket list where there were no financial constraints. He

debated that if we asked people to do something that
