Charlie Bearse is the go-to leader at Blackhawk, where he's been the Chief Operating Officer since 2018. He began his career in coal mining in 1983, starting as an underground miner and working his way up. Mr. Bearse holds a degree in mining engineering from Michigan Tech. He’s committed to making mines safer and more efficient. Since 2023, he has served as a member of the BridgeValley Community and Technical College’s Foundation Board in Charleston, West Virginia.
