Short company introduction

Edu Apps (Mal) Sdn Bhd uses 21st Century education technologies like augmented
reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and our proprietary RE@RE System to make learning
more engaging and immersive. With almost 50 years of experience as teaching
material designer and manufacturer, we understand the importance of these
conventional hands-on mediums of education. Hence, since 2009 we started to
integrate technology elements into our hands-on Edutools.

For example, with AR, lessons come ‘alive’ in 3D with animations and sounds, making
hard to grasp concepts easily visualized and understood. Students can even
experience interactive learning in their own homes. This is especially useful with online
classes becoming the new norm as schools are shut across the world.

Our Edutech products are accepted by both international and local markets. We
export to America, Canada, Australia, Singapore, and Myanmar. On the local front,
our products have been evaluated and approved by the Resource and Educational
Technology Division, MOE (Bahagian Sumber dan Teknologi Pendidikan, KPM).

Our extensive range of products is suitable for preschool up to primary and secondary
levels. We also cater for TVET education, libraries, learning centres, and edu-tourism.

You don’t even need to buy a skeleton model to learn about the skeletal system. You
just need the apron@live or the tshirt@live to explore and learn about the skeletal
system in 3D. You have your very own 3D model virtually to learn at your own pace.
Besides biology, other topics include the solar system, chemistry, and science.

RE@RE Language Learning System

The RE@RE Language Learning System (RE@RE LLS) is made up of Reare
recordable audio books which comes a RE@RE app which has 3 buttons.

Button 1 is for pre-recorded audio. This is for the child to listen and learn.

Button 2 is for the child to record his voice, then playback and compare it with
the precorded version. He can record as many times as he likes until he is
satisfied with his progress. With improved confidence, the child can even
record his own version of the story.

Button 3 which we call the creative button, is for the adult (teachers, parents,
etc) to customize and add more information. For example, add a second
language, or to highlight key words, or ask a question and so on. This button
comes with a lock to protect the recording from being accidentally erased or
overrided.

We have a total of 124 titles suitable for pre-school up to primary school. Out of
these, 50 titles are in Bahasa Melayu and 74 are in the English language. Children
are introduced to the languages in stages, beginning with vocabulary - simple
sentences - short stories - longer stories with more complex sentences. The stories
introduced are thematic and cross-curricular, e.g., stories about Islam, STEM-based
theme, Math theme, technology, fiction, etc.

Bring colouring to life with this product. Colour inside the black outlined pictures
with water-based crayons, open the app and point it towards the coloured image and
watch your masterpiece come alive in the colours used, with animations and sounds!
Wipe it clean with a damp cloth and start colouring again. Each mat has 10 images

Our range of 3dAR and RE@RE products can be used to create an immersive 3dAR
Edutech Explore & Learn Centres. Some of the centres created are the EDUTOOL
Future Classroom in Bangkok and Beijing, and the AVR Environment@live in Bukit
Jelutong, Malaysia.

The 3dAR Edutech Explore & Learn Centre can be implemented in a whole room by
transforming the walls, ceiling, floor, and pillars, or just a corner of the room for a
smaller-scaled project.

Teachers can use this place for their language class, science class, etc. We also
provide a guidebook with suggested activities for teachers to follow or refer to. This
is the place where students learn with technology and about technology.
