Statement of Purpose

FACULTY OF LIBERAL ARTS THAMMASAT UNIVERSITY

My name is Wichayaporn Chayatthien, I have a dream to study as air controller
because I want fulfill to carry and my mother's dream. When I was young, I rode by
Suvarnabhumi Airport, my mother pointed out that she had an ambition to work
on that building. I wondered what was on that building, and began to study on "
How to start preparing to work on air traffic " This can be a very stressful career ,
but it can also be exciting. Personally, I'm someone who likes heights, so I want to
make my dream come true to work on tall buildings. And It is a job that I have
always dreamed of , although I rarely hear people talk about it, but the more I felt


that I didn't have to compete with anyone. but myself. Therefore, I have the

intention to study English a lot for myself and my work. Originally I'm a person


who liked to learn languages. So I’m always ready to learn something new, and. I

want to become my mother’s representative to continue her ambition and work as
then air traffic Controller.

The ether reason is that I am confident and I really want to pursue this career. That is, I
have many doubts and questions. What is the top of this career path? ,or would it be scary
to be on top of a tall building all the time and communicates with the plane? And I would

like to give myself the opportunity to learn something new. Every time I pass by
Suvarnabhumi Airport I can’t take my eyes off the people working upstairs must have

seen the beautiful view. up there all the time It is very enviable.

My mother’s dream has inspired and driven me to have the ambition of working in air
traffic Controller. If I have given the opportunity to study at the Faculty of Liberal
Arts (English branch) at Thammasat University, I will pay attention and Focus on my

stud.. In order to make the dreams of both of me and my mother succeeded.

Joining this leadership activities it has given me new experiences such as to


working as a team Unity, decision-making and listening to others including

various cooperation and communication with younger students who came to
participate in the activities at the base camp.

I had the opportunity to serve as a lecturer on Cannabis-Hemp. I was

I was chosen to run for student body president of the number two party. I preparation,

various stories , and learning how to get away with the problem.

The Volunteer work that I attended was to help children living in upcountry and in
remote areas I have known that there were many children who were not given the
opportunity to study thoroughly. Through this experience, helping other students
,exchanging knowledge with them allowed me to grow as

a person and made me discover that there are a lot of precious things the outside world
can offer.

In the debate activity, we were asked to talk about the topic “surgery or no surgery.” Many
Ideas and opinions were exchanged. This offered me a viewpoint that many people can offer

many ideas and at the same
time we need to choose though decision the right thing to do. It is because in the end we
Assertiveness is considered a good thing. with ideas from their own perspective have

to be responsible to the each other’s well-being.

Sports day at Sarasas School, Minburi(2020)

That sports event taught me about the word sportsmanship And it's an
experience again. No matter, anybody can be play sport Because it's fun

without pressure But personally, I really like playing basketball. Aside from
being fun can help us to make new friends too. Playing and learning from
each other on how to play a sport, is so enriching And every time I finished
the race, I never regreted it. Either a win or a loss ,I know that deep inside I

have done the best.

Fashion contest in the Philippines(2019)

I was able to join a one work trip for a contest in the Philippinee last 2019. It
was a foreign country and I was able to meet foreign friend. The was a lot of
pressure at first but we were able to get along well. Though we had a different
culture and we spoke different languages, it was not a hindrance to understand
each other and so I had a lot of fun. But still it’s a good thing to use English to

communicate with other people. It really is an international language

Day Camp(2022)

I was assigned to take care of the children who participated in the activities in this base.
What has been given to this base is Solving problems is important to communicate well

We must let to the children that it is important to wear a life jacket.
Or if there is an accident, how can we help them? I learned that we need to help
to help them right away the without hesitation. Personally, I'm glad to be in this activity.
because I know Not all children like to play in the water. There are some children who are
afraid of water. With these knowledge, I am confident to say that I will be able

to help my younger brother in the water.
