The inaugural edition of the Thailand ‘International Home Décor, Furniture & Home Textile Virtual Expo 2021’ took
place from 20th to 22nd October 2021, and saw very good reception from Thai, ASEAN and global visitors and
international suppliers alike.
This international matchmaking platform was hosted on the Bee2bee Virtual Business Matching platform and was
conducted in association with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI); the Buying
Agents Association (BAA), India; The India–Thai Chamber of Commerce in Thailand; Indian Business Chamber in
Vietnam (INCHAM) and The National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka (NCCSL).
This virtual expo was an excellent showcase for the Home Décor, Furniture, Home Textiles, Handicrafts, Houseware,
Apparel, Textiles, Medical Textiles, Fibers & Yarns products from India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Korea
and Vietnam.
2020-21 was the year in which companies in the region demonstrated their agility by transforming production &
supply chain from traditional to digital. These factors coupled with the desire to assist companies towards growing
their business footprint by creating stronger networks gave rise to the Thailand ‘International Home Décor, Furniture
& Home Textile Virtual Expo 2021’.
This expo successfully focused on exhibiting innovative and relevant products to build strong connections in the
Home Décor, Furniture & Home Textile sector and was recognised as an event for those seeking to build strong
partnerships to create high growth in this industry.
Over 1750 buyers interacted virtually with over 75 quality industry suppliers via personal video meetings and
access the benefits of a physical trade fair from the comfort of their own locations through the Bee2Bee.asia
Business Matching Platform – an exclusive online business matching platform.
With the growing demand for quality Home Décor, Furniture & Home Textile products, this virtual meetings platform
assisted in establishing business tie-ups between international exhibitors and business visitors from across Thailand
and ASEAN.
The successful edition of this show is testimony that our decades of deep industry knowledge coupled with
experience in bringing together high quality exhibitors and buyers created a truly unique virtual sourcing platform

Visitor Analysis

The Thailand ‘International Home Décor, Furniture & Home Textile Virtual Expo 2021’
was held from 20th to 22nd October 2021, and was successful on all fronts including
the number of international exhibitors and the number of visitors interested in doing
business.
Over 1750 Buyers interacted virtually with over 75 quality industry suppliers via personal
video meetings. Suppliers from India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Korea and
Vietnam took part making it a truly pan-Asian exhibition.
Over 50 Exhibitors from India exhibited their products as part of the ‘India pavilion’
formed by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), with the
support of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.
Adding credence to the 2021 Exhibition were the 200+ pre-fixed business meetings
conducted during the course of the three days corresponding to around 50 meetings
per day each comprising 30 minutes.
In fact, the number of visitors and business matching meetings proved without a doubt
that the 2021 exhibition was an eagerly anticipated one. Buyers came from across
ASEAN and Thailand to pursue various inquiries. Importers, manufacturers, traders and
dealers were impressed with the variety and quality of the products displayed at the
show. The Industry Associations who participated at the show also felt their interest
and association justified by the success of the exhibition.
To sum up, 1750+ buyers attended the Virtual Expo which comprised 75+ Exhibitors
from India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Korea and Vietnam including the India
Pavilion by FICCI with 50 Indian exhibitors. Over 200+ pre-fixed business meetings
were conducted over four days.

Digital & Social Media Campaigns

Concerted and focused digital and social media campaigns were devised and executed
for this exhibition. Keeping in mind the large number and variety of products to be
exhibited, SMS and emailers were sent to every relevant trade body, association, all
their members as well as independent businesses.
Over 2,10,000 SMSes were sent to connect directly and more than 5,00,000 emailers
were sent while two to three rounds of e-mailers saw more than 14,00,000 being sent.
Messages were also sent through Facebook, Whatsapp, Instagram and LinkedIn social
media platforms.
In total, over 70,000 Whatsapp, LinkedIn, Facebook posts and Instagram posts were
created for the International Home Decor Furniture & Home Textile Virtual Expo.
These focused campaigns ultimately resulted in the extremely positive response we saw
at the show from qualitative buyers, who came with the idea of doing concrete business
with their counterparts in the medical and healthcare industry.
